Dabbler sat shotgun and buckled up. "I didn't see any Mcdonald's here. I did see Five Guys and Burger King though. Well I'm peckish too, the morgue got me hungry."

Dabbler looked forward to their evening more and more. Tons of snacks and places to visit, not to mention having to foil a summoning of Yog-Sothoth.

Nadia turned to Jeannie, "Ah've only seen that happen once, nasty magic but it was pretty fun. Ah doubt we'll see animated statues here though." She opened the door and slid into the seat. "Hopefully, we're not gonna find anything. We're lookin' for somethin' that's missin', Jeannie darlin'."

Nadia hummed as she started up the car, "Well, we can stop by a Five Guys if ya want. Ah refuse to step so low as Burger King."

(Guess we'll just skip Nekro for now)

Nadia started the car and sped off, rolling down her windows and blasting rock music. "Jeannie darlin'," she yelled over the music. "If ya' keep your mouth open like that you're gonna get bugs in ya' mouth. Trust me, they don't taste good sweetie."

They pulled up to the drive-thru and Nadia turned the dial to lower the music, "What do you guys want?"

"Alrighty then," Nadia rolled down the driver's window and popped her head out to order.

"Hello, welcome to Five Guys," a teen stated over the speaker. His dreary voice indicated that he didn't seem very happy to be there. "How may I help you?"

Nadia plastered on her fakest smile and cleared her voice of her normal Southern accent and put on a more fitting British. "Well, I'll have five Bacon Cheeseburgers, five Bacon Hamburgers, and two of your largest orders of fries, one regular and one Cajun please. I will also have one peanut butter milkshake, one vanilla, and one strawberry." Nadia nodded to herself, satisfied with her order and about to confirm- but wait! Shoot! "Oh! I'll also have a chili-dog. That'll be it. Thanks~!"

She drove up to the cash register window, leaving the poor teen sputtering at her obscenely large order.

Nadia grabs one of the bacon cheeseburgers and some fries. She hisses as Jeannie comes dangerously close to her peanut butter smoothie. "Mine," she growls and hogs the shake for herself. It's quite unladylike. "Ah could see ya' thinking about it."

She pays the cashier and they begin the drive to the museum. It's like a road trip with greasy food.

Jeannie jumps back surprised then laughs amused how protective of her milkshake Nadia was. Jeannie grabs another one of the burgers and sticks the fries on it, she thinks it's yummier that way. then looks out the window curiously.

are we there yet? Once we get there what exactly do we do? you said we are looking for something not to be there, I'm not sure how that helps us to find nothing. Is it one of them magical hidden meaning kinda things? Jeannie slurps on her milkshake ouchies brain freeze.

"We're like, almost there. Ah few more minutes doll." Nadia retorted. She took a bite out of her burger. "So, we're lookin' for a magic book, somethin' real old. Like, so old that if you blew on its cover, dust would go everywhere." She takes a sip of her shake. "Out of curiosity, I checked to see what other potentially dangerous relics the museum had when that dagger was stolen; and I found an old book." Nadia honks her horn angrily at some teens in the car in front of them. Don't they know how to use turn signals?

"Supposedly, it's filled with all sorts of dirty rituals and strange magiks. So I figured, what if that could be where the ritual was comin' from? And if it is where the ritual is comin' from, then I can track the book. That is, assuming it's the right one."

"Yeah, if the information on it was right, there should be a lot, though we'd have to be careful. The lines between harmless rituals and the ones that bring about the apocalypse are pretty slim. Ooh, we should totally summon a unicorn, that would be fun. We've gotta find it first though."

They pull up to the parking lot of the giant museum. It's huge and vaguely resembles an old church cathedral on the outside, but if Nadia's memory is correct, it's quite modern on the inside. "C'mon," Nadia says, sliding out of the car. "We're here."

"If memory serves, it's a deep green with brown border. It's got runes carved into it, you'd recognize it if ya saw it, promise." They enter the building, and Nadia sighs in relief at the small amount of people wandering around the museum. That made their job easier.

Nadia acts as normal as possible as she pays the entrance fee and suspiciously declines a tour guide. Various people gave looks at her and Jeannie for their... spooky apparel.

"Alright, we need to get to that room," She points to a long hallway to their right, there were two guards stationed at the end guarding a room with what appeared to be the book.

Nadia nodded, "Be as loud and distractin' as possible. 'Cause there's probably an alarm that'll go off as soon as ah grab this book." She smiles at Jeannie and holds her hand up for a high-five.

"Are ya ready to commit theft with me?"
