The Legacy

Personality: He is brave and adventurous. He won't back down from a fight even if he knows he is outmatched. He Is clever and is usually able to talk himself out of situations. He is trusting and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt. He befriends people easily and is always willing to lend a hand. He doesn't like talking to the press and usually avoids interviews and questionings.

History: While walking home from work when he was 17 he was confronted by an old man who handed him a yellow gem. The old man told him that it was of utmost importance that he didn't let the gem out of his sight and to keep it with him until the time was right. Before Derrick could say anything the man turned and ran away as if he was being chased by something; always looking over his shoulder as if something was watching him. Derrick felt obligated to listen to the old man even though he thought it was a strange thing to request of him. Months past and nothing happened and many times Derrick thought about just getting rid of the stupid rock, but he never did.

Then it happened, he just turned 23 and it was just becoming spring and the first thunderstorm was about to happen. He was on his way to work when it started to pour. With no good cover in sight he decided to cross the empty street to get to the bus stop. As he neared the middle of the street he was struck with an intense bolt of lightning. This activated the gem and it was absorbed into his body. He woke up in the hospital and was released a few days later after he recovered. While he was at home he slowly discovered his abilities and decided to use them for justice.

The Powers

Power 1: Electricity manipulation: shooting electricity, slight control over electronic devices, summoning lightning from the sky, and the ability to generate thunderstorms. He has limited flight due to being able to propel himself with magnetism.

Power 2: Gemstone sword and shield: Sword and shield fighting skills, he is able to make them appear and disappear at will. The sword helps aim his electricity shooting powers, it is also unable to cause lethal damage to any living things. The shield is bulletproof and is able to produce a shockwave to stun or knock back foes slightly.

Power 3: Gemstone armor: He is able to make it materialise around him at will, it is bulletproof, and it has a supercomputer built into it which allows him to predict and react to situations quicker.

Power 4: Electrolocation: able to see through an electrical field around his body.

The first 3 levels of intelligence and occult equate for each other, so you don't need to spent points in both. The first point in wealth is also free.

Electricity manipulation would cost at least 4 points to have and would be more powerful with more points spent on it.

The shield, armor and possibly the sword as well will need to be listed as items. You might want to make an item app for them.

You need more points allocated into your ability for electricity manipulation, and you will need an item application for your armor, weapon, and shield.
