Pain held Carnage up in his arms..."Friend..." Pain chuckled..."So long ago..." The images of Ein's death, and those symbiote's teeth popped into Pains head...He shut his eye in anger...He opened it again with a crazed look in his eye, letting an evil grin come to his face...He pulled his arm back and flattened his hand, he drove his hand into Chaos's throat with all his might.

Chaos's eyes widened & he caught his fist. "Pain, I am still your friend. If you kill me, your friend, the one person who truly understands you, then you will become just like him, just like the rotten snake in the grass that killed your friend. Do the right thing Pain. Let me live brother. Together, we can avenge your friend's death & I can protect Tenshi from the likes of him" he choked out, pointing to Fantom.
