Personality: Roland is a somewhat fatherly character, always concerned about the well-being of his henchmen. He's friendly with most people and tries his best to be friends with everybody, though he doesn't always make good friends with the people he meets. Despite his rather happy go lucky and friendly nature, Roland can be somewhat brutal when dealing with his enemies. His ruthlessness and determination has set him apart from other men in his position, and he's not above torture to make someone talk. However, one thing is sure: you don't mess with Roland, he won't mess with you. He's very business savvy and has managed to run many legitimate services alongside his more shady business. He also has a keen interested in martial arts and different fighting styles, and has trained extensively in different forms of combat. History: Roland was born to an enforcer for the Mafia. His father was a dangerous man and no one wanted to mess with him, they heard what he did to those that crossed the Mafia. Despite all this, Roland's father loved his son and wanted to keep him away from the life of a mobster, though he still taught him how to protect himself. Roland's mother was aware of her husbands occupation, and had tried to get him out of the gangster business, but no matter how many times he tried to stop, he kept on going back. Roland himself was a prodigy and was smarter than usual, having a keen interest in business. But when Roland turned 16, tragedy struck. His father was on the someone's hitlist, and he was killed in an explosion in a restaurant along with his wife. Struck with grief, Roland joined the Mafia to find out who killed his parents. Using his intellect, Roland managed to claw his way to the top of the food chain and became the head of multiple legitimate businesses. As of now, he's still looking to find out who exactly killed his parents, and why. |
