I guess this is where I should introduce myself.....

Hmmmm, where to begin? Well as you can tell, my name is AcceptablyPsycho or AP for short. I am a massive fan of all things superhero/super-villain-ish so when I found this forum, I instantly began signing up.

From my username, you can probably tell I do enjoy playing the bad guy. for a number of reason. 1) that the bad guys always have more fun and can do more, as they please, which is what my mentality is. B ) Everybody wants to be the hero, no one wants the villain role, so I fill a niche well and three) that the bad guys always have more fun and can do more, as they pl......oh wait, I did that one I also prefer having 1 character at a time to focus more on their development.

So I still have a few questions on the layout/feature of the Forum. Is this where I find the information desk or is that located in another part of the building?
Like what are the differences between Quests and Arcs? Do Arcs affect the whole Forum? Is each thread its own contained Universe or is in the Universe of the entire Forum? How does one start/join an RP here (different places, different rules). And where is that kid with my latte??

Welcome to SHRPG. First off you need to create your own character.

http://superhero-rpg.forumotion.com/t5228-the-rulebook <---- for referencing all the important things you'll need.

http://superhero-rpg.forumotion.com/f1-hero-villain-application <---- is where you post your character app and then it gets reviewed by a staff member and approved if ready.

From there you're free to RP. As for getting into RPs simply talking to people is the best way to start. The chatbox is a great place to get those conversations going. Also feel free to get to know the rest of us. It's a fun place here.

As for your other questions their is only 1 universe here. Arcs are site-wide events that are major influences. Quests are minor events really.

My character is set and ready. Spent a while setting it up before I signed up. So unless there are some issues with him that I'm not getting, I'm sure one of the nice Staff members or my psychologist will point them out to me. Thanks.

You should be warned. I'm a nightmare to work with. Consider me like the Joker, rash, unpredictable and always with some form bad jokes involved.

As for my character, he's a rehash of one I did on another forum that didn't get very far, but I had SO much fun playing him, as he was pretty much an extension of me, only with more killing and generally homicidal villainy. And was richer.
