Nightkill frowned uneasily. "Anyway, you have powers. Don't lie to me, we all know it's true." he replied.

He made a way for a woman coming through, and gave a nod toward the other man, which said "We'll continue this conversation after she leaves."

"who is we exactly?"

Adriano looked around to see this "we" he was talking about. That is when he spotted the eyes in the alley way. A partner of his?

"Alright, your gonna tell me exactly what it is you want with me. I noticed that pal of yours in the shadow. How did you find me? Who are you?"

Nightkill frowned, hoping the girl didn't hear what they were really speaking about.

"What pal in the shadows?" he asked, turning around. He did see Sul-Fury now. He snorted. "Probably some New Yorker, not a big deal." he said.

"What I want from you is simply to inform you of your talents." he said. "And to give you a business proposition, I suppose you could say."

If the job was good enough, maybe it would aid him in his "crusade"
He was actually hoping the girl did not leave. A hundred people around here, and for some reason, he was very concerned about this one girl. So long as she stays, Adriano might have the upper hand here.

"I'm founding a new organization, well, actually reviving an old one. An organization named SCAR. I simply want you to join it, and the pay is fantastic, at four million dollars per year. You simply have to do what I ask you."

Nightkill laughed. "I suppose so. You want to talk about this, you'll have to talk somewhere else."

Nightkill wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it over. "My email and cellphone number. Use it." he said, beginning to walk away.

Adriano wiped out his phone and texted the number.

The message wrote "I am listening."

He walked over to a near by wall and started to lean on it, waiting for the reply. In the mean time, he thought about the encounters that had just happened. It all happened just as he made his...choice. Was it fate of some kind? If only he could look upon that tapestry and see the next image...

Nightkill didn't even pull out his phone, but a text came to Adriano anyway.

"SCAR is, I suppose you can say, a legally shady organization with superhumans as members. It was defeated by a do-gooder organization called GUN years ago. SCAR's replacement FEARE is weak and pathetic. I have revived SCAR, and am recruiting new members. I'm willing to give you four million dollars, and perhaps more, per year if you join and do as I ask. Any more questions?"

"I'm afraid I cannot promise you that. SCAR has dozens of enemies, and eventually you may need to kill. However, I can increase your salary if you have those qualms, and attempt to get you a job where this won't be as necessary."
