Color of the Group: Gold

Description/Goal:  The goal is to establish new and lasting relationships between Metahumans and Humans by teaching, protecting, and assisting in any and all ways.

Teaching: Bringing awareness to humans about Metahuman abilities and establishing a school to help teach the future Metahumans how to control their powers in a controlled and safe environment. A governmental liaison position will also be established in all Hospitals and prison facilities to ensure the fair treatment and care is rendered to Metahumans.

Protecting: A base of operations will be opened in New York, New York, hopefully the first of many, to once again establish a wall of protection for the Humans on Earth against the ever rising threat of lost Metahumans, whom seek only hate and destruction. The established team will be a cooperating force, mingled with humans and Metahumans alike to ensure proper communication and force is used during conflicts.

Assistance: It is desired, that by creating new materials, establishing and renewing ideals, and enhancing the infrastructure of the city a new hope arises and a new dawn for Metahumans is established. An era that outshines all others and pushes Humans and Metahumans alike further into the future.

History: The history of Daybreak is cumulative over the years. Many groups have tried to accomplish much of its mission, either in part or in whole, and have failed. One might look at the many failures or heroes, the destruction of London, the first assaults on New York, and the taking over of Boston by a dimensional cataclysm. One can look at all of the morally questionable things Heroes have done over the last few years, and see that something needs to happen. People have to stand up and say, "Enough!". Daybreak is that exactly.

Structure: Daybreak is divided into three main parts. The inner circle, the outer circle, and the teams. The inner circle comprises of the most experienced Metas of the group. They are teachers, and group leaders. Their voice is that of their team and one of experience. They are guides for troubled Metahumans and the example for the normal humans to aspire to. Within each part of the group there is one governmental liaison. Their mission to to be the voice of the people, to ensure all missions are held to a high standard, and that everything was completed for the well-being of the society. They can be human or metahuman. When things go crazy, it is their job to be a trusted ambassador the normal humans can look to for explanation, and a voice of the people to keep the group in line with the will of the people. The chairperson of each board is only there to direct the meetings. They hold no special power, other than the power to break a tie if one is needed during decision making. Board members are in both the inner and outer circles. Board members are those members that are not the chairperson. In the inner circle, anyone that is not the chairperson is a Board member. In the outer circle, a board member is anyone who is not a team leader, chairperson, or vice chairperson. The chairperson of the outer circle is the vice chairperson of the inner circle. The vice chairperson takes lead of the inner circle when the chairperson is not available, and is the voice of the outer circle inwards.

In addition to the Daybreak Base of Operations the government has provided two large facilities in New York. One in the northern part of the state, and another in the south. Both were once apart of a college that has recently went bankrupt. Since then, two state of the art training rooms were built where their gyms once were. Both areas have fully furnished dormitories and can house up to 200 people, living comfortably. Around both campus there are AR-T16s patrolling the area. Some of the rooms have been modified to accommodate special needs (specific to the meta in question).

Zeph is always looking with curiosity at the world around him, and that curiosity has led to many learning experiences. His hope is that offering these to others will allow them to make better choices, and through those choices improve people's lives. On the more practical side, Zeph wants to help and protect people, and possibly mentor others with powers, since he believes it’s the best use for his abilities.
