Eternal Essence
Advancement Power: Silus now has an incredibly fast regeneration rate in which he is able to heal very quickly from minor wounds and more grievous wounds can take minutes. Mostly just to ensure he doesn't die.
Item/Character Advancement Price: 30
- Advancement VII:
Balance of Power
Advancement Power(s): Silus is able to draw upon the primal concepts of balance and is inherently and even unwillingly influenced by the concepts of all things around him. In accordance his own skills are always equal to that of his opposition and makes him virtually unable to be out-classed as far as reflexes, reactions and skill-based tactics are concerned
Advancement Weakness(es): Silus' skills are dependent upon the accumulative whole of his opposition. That being said if he is in opposition to several skilled masters of the arts, he will go through them like they are cannon fodder. The OPPOSITE of that, however is that if he is facing someone who is horribly unskilled he will be forced to cope with only having peak human skills and reflexes. He is subsequently harder to defeat in masses, though is easier to target in a one-on-one environment.

- Advancement VIII:
Eternal Essence
Description: This ability has three primary appearances. The first appearance is that of a bright energy that crackles and sparks with blackish purple electricity. It is able to take the form of pure energy with lightning like properties or crystal like construction. Other appearances are general constructs as well as armoring, etc.
Advancement Power(s):
The ability to manipulate a unique form of energy that is unique to Silus and can only be manipulated by Silus. The power cannot be copied or mirrored in it's truest essence and it can only be seen with the eyes (optics, PC's bodily means of perception, etc). The power has the basic abilities of other energy projection users save for the fact that other than being able to see it and being able to feel the impact it delivers it cannot have an "immunity" built up to it, it cannot be analyzed with any form of magic or technology and is ultimately not actually able to be categorized as either logical or scientific. This power manifests in either energy manipulation OR A piece of armor and a sword. This power is also the true explanation of Silus "trickster's Glamour" ability and his ability to influence things so adversely. It also explains is powerful regeneration.
- Broken down:
Energy manipulation: The standard uses of energy manipulation
Relative Imperceptible: Cannot be detected by scanners, video camera, energy readers and cannot be understood by anyone, no questions asked. It is not magic, it is not science, it is not a metagene. It just simply is. It can be seen by people and that is it.
Practical anomaly: Immunity cannot be built up to this energy. People can still obviously adapt to the kinetic damage it deals or the thermal damage it deals, but the power itself cannot have anyone truly immune to the power itself. Adapting to be immune to it means you are required to adapt to the individual events. (You can treat the symptoms, but you can't cure the disease in essence)
Physical Manifestation: The power is able to switch between physical properties of Light, Lightning and a Crystal form. While in Crystal form, the energy can placed itself on an object or can be consumed by something and allow the power to temproarily emulate it's phsyical properties. (if he puts his energy in crystal form in a fire. The fire burns up the crystal and his energy temporarily takes the form of a fire rather than lightning.)
- Weapon:
Abilities: Can cut through virtually anything.
Same properties as the energy itself.
Can be manipulated if thrown
Can be recalled to weilder
Cannot be lifted by anyone else and damages anyone who is not it's weilder who tries to lift it.
Reforms if broken
Weaknesses:
Negates the ability to use the energy projection version of the power.
Suffers physical property weaknesses. (if slices a fire it catches on fire. Water will put it out and it will deal less damage)
Can only be recalled once every 4 posts.
Cannot Void-walk with it's wielder
Requires 5 posts to reform
- Spoiler:
This but with a more jagged crystal look with purple and black energy radiating from around it.
- Armor:
Abilities:
-Highly Durable
-Repairs itself if weakened
-Able to morph and mold to become sleeker or bulkier, shaper or smoother.
-Able to emulate human clothing.
- Able to be remote controlled (while doing so has advanced strength
Weaknesses:
- When healing, it requires Silus regeneration to be taken off of him
- When Morphing it requires the armor to move like a liquid and then build up like gems and solidify. This means in order to morph one place bulkier another area is exposed for a time.
- Requires two posts to cover up an exposed area due to the use of the morphing function.
- While levitating is still relatively easy, taking off for flying takes longer and the max flight speed is significantly less than without the armor.
- Strength cannot be utilized while being worn by Silus as it would put too much stress on his body.
Advancement Weaknesses: Silus has several weaknesses for this last advancement.
The Weight of Decision: Silus cannot use this power in multiple different methods. He needs to select the medium of how he will use his energy and is unable to deviate form that chosen method.- example:
- Silus is not able to create a giant dragon construct with his power AND still use the power in it's energy manipulation as well. He must choose if he wants to armor himself in his armor and sword construct OR if he wants to use his power like that of energy manipulation
The Soul of a Savior: Silus power can not be used in a way other than the defense of himself or in the defense of others. While it can be used in an offensive manner this power is literally unable to kill another individual as it counteracts both the nature of the user and the nature of the power.
No matter the choice, the Consequence: No matter if Silus chooses energy manipulation or if he chooses to have the armor and sword, he is stuck with the weaknesses stated above.
Advancement Price: 40 xp
