A war not worth fighting [Scrath Board and Ink]

[Alpha]

Things had happened almost too quickly for his hypercogniscent mind to comprehend. One moment he was walking through the Guardians ship, in position to sabotage the carrier and the next he was gone, everything becoming something else within a matter of a second. Without even needing to think, his hand sheathed within black leather glove would feel over the black mask, checking if he was still wearing it. So it appeared they had triggered some manner of defensive teleportation mechanism, removing him from the ship with a single motion. Taking a few seconds he would take in his surroundings, which looked like the interior of a ruined suburban home. The very image of decay was around him, cracked molding and a wooden floor that creaked with each step. That sound would ruin any sense of surprise, so he would have to do the next best thing, which was not touch the floor.

With a small amount of concentration, he would lift himself into the air by an inch, making the not touching the floor portion more than possible. It was likely that he had been teleported along with a few members of The Guardians, unless Alpha had been so lucky that he was teleported off alone. ”What did I get myself into?” He muttered under his breath considering a way that he could readily combat these heroes. That being if he had even been followed within that unknown teleport, because there was always the possibility he had not. Pressing the button on his mask, Alpha would attempt to communicate with anyone linked to it, and finding no one at the moment. So he was truly on his own in this endeavor, most annoying. The door to the room would open with only a thought, Alpha moving through it into what looked like some manner of hallway.

There was no sign of anyone else, aside from what looked like a roach crawling along the wall. A disgusting little insect, something that Alpha would have squashed along with the rest of the building, more of an eyesore than anything else. Dust had begun to gather along the floor in a thin film, tossed upwards by the slight telekinetic pressure that was keeping him from touching the floor. A low sigh issued from his lips as he stood there. It seemed things had gone….not as planned but he was fine with that, his head was beginning to hurt anyway.
