More stuff for wealth

Ok, so i know wealth has been improved a lot with the changes to items. However, i feel that the first 4 points in wealth are rather useless considering they cost 10 xp. So basically I'm asking if anyone has any ideas regarding the lower levels of wealth, i think they should do something more then they do now. So tell me what ya think.

Okay first off I'd like to simply state that we should totally tax PC's to death. All joking aside though

1) Wealth had absolutely nothing but fame and base-building and the occasional 30 point NPC. The fact that it gives items now is a perfectly good boost.

 2) The current wealth system is probably one the more stable systems we have at the moment.

 3) The first point of wealth is free so it's probably best that it's "useless"

   Think of the "Real world" process of things. Out current "Genius" leveled items are expensive as Hell and require entire nations to fund them.

  So with wealth you cover several things.

Base building.
Fame
30 point NPC
and now it even lets you have items.

 With wealth you buy things.... like items, cars bases/houses/businesses, and rich people who actually do things tend to be famous.

 I'm not sure how we can make wealth do more other than buff the item levels you get from wealth, in which it is my honor to be the first to say:

 The current items levels are fine, and should not be changed. Items don't need to be used for combat either, and their current levels are actually more than generous. As seen above you can damage ANYTHING with 4 wealth, which saves you seven points in Intellect at the cost of having less items available.

 I'm going to sound like a total dick (even when it's not my intent...this time) and say that you/everyon should simply be more creative with the wealth system. Not all things need to be for combat, not every stat is going to be abusable. The fact it costs ONLY 10 Xp is more than enough reason to be grateful you get any items at all.
