Overload had been following the trail for hours after he and Prime split up. It was probably for the best, as Prime had different views of things. Murdering and pillaging were wrong, yes, but if that's how the gangs were going to act, why couldn't he? 'Fight fire with fire, they always say.' Overload smiled. 'Well... Fire with electricity.'

The search - which consisted of three dead gang members, a cell phone with a number to the warehouse that Overload was visiting, and a bakery (for doughnuts) - had led Overload to a dock facing the area near the Statue of Liberty. The docks were just about like every other part of the city; Dark, desolate, and destroyed. But there was a building that was left in tact. A small, barely visible, hardly-worth-checking-out, type building, but what did Overload have to lose.
As he neared the building, Overload was jumped. Seven or eight gang members began beating him with bats, and more on the way.
“What fun…” Overload said.

Yumo was walking absent mindedly down the docks near the statue of liberty. His parents were here on a reform project to help make the struggling lives of the people of new York better. They brought along yumo in an attempt to make him a more nicer reputation then what he has at the moment, but it's not his fault everyone knows him as they do. He was slurping on a pink lemonade slushy when he heard the sounds of a fight, multiple fights to be exact. He slowly hurried his walk as he let his white hair blow in the wind. He found the fight to be in front of some old dusty looking building.

"Do you need help?" He said to the man in a casual voice.

He leaned over so that he could see the mans face. His red eyes looked around to see about seven maybe eight people beating on him with weapons. He also noticed that people were nearing rapidly on the man as he was beaten by these people. This fight interested Yumo but he just watched as it played out, unless the man asked for help. The sound of yumo's slushy filled his ear as he lazily looked from one side to the other.

'Do I want any help?' Overload thought to himself. 'What the hell is this kid thinking?'

Overload ran a charge through his body, and blew some of the thugs away from him, giving him enough room to fight. After landing a few blows to two or three of the thugs, they began to overpower him again. Charging his energy, he released a shock into a few of the thugs, sending them sprawling into the air. As a thug swung a bat at him, he caught it mid-swing, and reversed it into a kick into the knee.

Seeing more thugs approaching, Overload looked to the kid.

Throwing him the bat, Overload smiled. "Here. You may need this."

Yumo watched as the slight buzzing sound filled the area followed by multiple guys flying backwards. Yumo nodded in satisfaction and watched as the guys began to overpower the man again but he shocked multiple thugs and was able to retaliate again. The man looked at yumo for a minute then beat some guy up and tossed him the bat. "You may need this." Is what the guy said as the bat landed in yumo's grasp. The slushy was done so yumo tossed the cup onto the ground as he examined the dumb object just handed to him.

"Don't underestimate me that much." He said sarcastically before throwing the bat into an incoming thug.

The man fell to the floor and blood spilt slowly from his temple. Yumo looked in utter dissapointement and shook his head dissaprovingly. He looked again and began to get irritated.

"I didn't even throw it that hard, how are you already bleeding." Yumo rhetorically called as he let streams of blood rush onto a few thugs that were about to jump onto the pile of guys on the man.

He swung his index and middle finger into his palm causing two people to rush towards him. He jumped into the air and landed back down on one of the guys head elevating him a little when he jumped again using the guy as a spring board. Yumo spun like a top upside down and the thugs began to wined around in a circle for a minute before the blood let them go and the fell back to the floor hitting nearby stairs and curbs and other common objects.

When yumo landed again he was surrounded by thugs and they all had knives and such. He crossed his arms and scanned the competition, waiting for them to attack first.

Overload had to doubletake after watching what the kid had done to those thugs. he had seamlessly take them down, without even flinching. He hadn't seen anything like that before. Taking a look back at the thugs in his area, he saw two of them pull knives. He released a blast into the knife of one of them, causing the man to drop it. Sliding to the knife, Overload grabbed it, and shoved it in between the mans eyes. 'That's what I'm talking about.' he growled.

Jumping to his feet, the other man swung at him, nicking him in the arm. After dodging the next swing, Overload kicked the man square in the stomach and landed a scissor kick on him. Jumping back to his feet, he quickly cauterized the wound the man gave him. 'No time to bandage it now...' he thought, 'I'm busy.'

Just then, another thug hit him in the small of his back with a bat, knocking him to the ground. After taking a few hits, he tripped the thug, and took the baseball bat for himself and cracked the man in the neck. Looking back to the kid, he smiled.

"I love this business."

It didn't take long for Prime to find where Overload had gone to. All he had to do was follow the trail of blood, bodies and screams of the tortured. Prime instantly found the street fight taking place, but instead of a simple one on one, it was a full blown twenty on one, or perhaps a twenty on two, depending if the little midget was fighting for Overload. was it a midget? Prime couldn't tell but whatever it was it had exceptional fighting skills.

Prime quickly found the nearest building that was still standing that could be used as a sniper post, and Prime levitated on it using a piece of sheet metal lying on the ground. Just as he though, there was a sniper using an old relic from the battle of NYC, powerful but still old. Prime immediately used his manipulative powers over metal to crush the barrel of the gun and make the bullet condense and explode. The sniper lost his grip on the gun and turned around, in a moment of fury Prime seized the iron in the snipers blood, made it expand and then pull it out the mans body. The sniper dropped to the roof top and died.

From the small amount of iron that Prime had gotten from the sniper he created a small knife, very, very sharp and dangerous in Prime's hands. He peered over the side of the small building and then saw that Overload was about to get jumped from behind, he took the sharp metal knife like object, used his powers to accelerate the blade and send it flying towards the thug. The blade hit the target in the chest, and he collapsed to the ground. Prime then waited for a more proper moment to reveal himself to the duo down below.

Yumo laughed as the man told him that he loved this job. Suddenly some guy fell and a knife stuck out of his back. Yumo looked up and noticed some guy really far off, barley noticeable but now kind of hard to miss. There was what looked like a body next to him and blood dripped down the side of the building he was on. Yumo Jumped into the air then landed on his hands and did some break dance moves as he let crescent like blades fly from the vials and into the nearby thugs. He then connected the blood to the bodies and flung them into other thugs with immense force.

There was loud cracks as the dead bodies collided with the live ones. "I just like the fighting." Yumo said shrugging before yanking up a lamp post and swinging it into the thugs that were rushing towards him. More seemed to be focused on him now than overload.

" Ha i'm more important." Yumo mockingly singed as he swung the lamppost like a staff.

'More important, my ass.' Overload thought, jumping into the fray as the kid was swinging the post around like a bat. Landing a few blows of his own, he spun around and saw Prime in the difference. 'Looks like hero-boy finally showed up...' Kicking another thug in the crotch, he yelled to Prime. "Hey! How about you join the fight?! Plenty of metal to satisfy your needs!"

Ducking another hit, he blew another man back with a blast, got another in between the eyes, and threw another into the lamppost that the kid had been using.

"What the hell are you?" Overload screamed over the wreckage and noise, "Some telekinetic?"

Walked Right Into It (open) Empty Re: Walked Right Into It (open)

Post by Nathaniel A. Lincoln November 27th 2013, 12:06 am

Lincoln had taking a liking to this city maybe it was how the rebuilding of the city reminded him of when it was first being built, watching the skyline grow, seeing the population swarm, it reminded him of good times. That was a time before his years started to bog him down and a time long enough after the Revolution that he understood himself, slightly more that is. The city was beautiful then, until it started to be filled with gangs, violence, all the shit that showed the worst of society and made what it showed even more graphic.

And these kids were doing it again. He knew he couldn't change what the city would become but why couldn't he take it out on the idiots destroying it again. The way he saw it their fighting was an invitation for them to be taught how to really fight and why you fought. Normally Lincoln would have walked away but this was just too much, there were thirty something guys against three young bloods.

Lincoln enraged but showing no outside sign briskly strides up to one of the deadbeats attacking the children, and pulled the gun that was poking from his back pocket away from him and up to his head. Why was he not using it? Well yet another lesson he could teach, always bring everything you can to a fight or you'll lose. Lincoln had killed a lot of men, most of them much better people than these assholes who would beat up a kid but he still felt pains after taking a life even after two hundred years. Obviously though he has also learned to ignore it and pull a trigger.

*BANG*

It never does happen like in the movies its quicker but not quite as clean, the death that is. Then again he was seeing it before movies existed so he probably knew more than most directors. Regardless their were a good many more left.

*BANG*

*BANG*

A good many indeed.

*BANG*

Squarely placing rounds in the heads of various gang members. It was almost like second nature now, after all that training and all those wars it's just a matter of a simple hand movement now. Much easier than a musket, much, much easier.

Post by samstan2100 November 27th 2013, 12:05 pm

Prime watched from distance, not really caring about any of it. Overload had said a lot of things... changing Prime's perception of the whole world. He had came to New York to help people... but ended up killing people, a lot faster that what he used to do.

Four deaths in total now. He hadn't killed anyone since December of 2018. Now here he is, killing people that probably haven't killed anyone yet... There only crime was joining the wrong people... and now they were getting destroyed.

Prime floated down off the small fishing house using the same piece of metal he had previously used to get to the top of the small fishing house. Prime casually walked over to the fighting that Overload the small person, and now the new guy had just jumped into. Prime walked calmly into the mix, he side stepped a baseball bat, grabbed it, then yanked it out of the users hands and smashed the side of his head in, sending him flying backwards.

He yelled out to Overload, "You happy now?!"

Prime then used his abilities to grab a handgun lying on thee ground nearby. He shot five bullets at random people, then used his power over metal to make the five bullets go anywhere he pleased. The five bullet hit their targets, each striking a criminal in the head right between the eyes.

Prime made the handgun float in the air, then crushed it. Prime dropped it to the ground then looked up. He saw ten more guys come in, all with assault rifles. They opened fire on the crowd. But Prime put his hand up and created a magnetic force field type pulse. All of the bullets stopped in mid air. He smirked, then dropped the bullets to the ground. He then focused on all ten assault rifles, turned them into spears and then shoved them into the bodies of the men using the assault rifles. He then grabbed the spears that are lodged into the ten men, and pulled them upwards carrying the men with them he forced them into the side of the warehouse.

Prime just brushed his shoulders off and stayed outside of the major fighting. to watch.

Walked Right Into It (open) Empty Re: Walked Right Into It (open)

Post by Nathaniel A. Lincoln November 27th 2013, 1:08 pm

Lincoln watched as the not so new man walked into the fray, presumably saving the lives of the other two men and saving him quite a bit of pain. He was a regular magneto, not a power he had seen before. Oddly Lincoln found himself thinking that just like his power this kid would become stronger as time went by, people were always using more and more metal.

Of course he was in a fight so his mind didn't linger on the subject too long. Or rather it couldn't he was now surrounded by a group of some of the few remaining gang members, it looked as if they finally figured out who was putting led in their buddies heads. Lincoln raised his gun and took out two of the surrounding group, emptying the last chamber, flipping the gun and whacking another man allowing the gun to fall free from his hand as it's last emission made contact to the man directly behind him. As he did this another man had the bright idea to charge him with a rather large hunting knife.

It wouldn't kill him but it would hurt like hell, and he really would be dead if he had to resurrect with this swarm around him. As the man took his first step Lincoln also moved his leg bringing it down on the man with the knife's leg, simultaneously grabbing another man and throwing him into the knife as his first attackers leg made a loud cracking sound and he fell forward impaling his buddy.

Before Lincoln could turn around he heard another rather loud cracking noise followed by a searing pain in his leg. Blunt force trauma and a cracked leg, not a big deal it was similar enough to falling off a horse, which he had done many times for his powers to be able to heal it rather quickly. Bringing his other leg up he knocked the man off his feet and grabbed the baseball bat that had just been used against him, quickly thereafter slamming it into the head of the man who had just broken his leg.

Lincoln simply turned to the last man his leg now finishing healing itself, he was already running. No reason to kill him, Lincoln had taught somebody a lesson indeed, sometimes you have to retreat. Lincoln walked from the circles of bodies his power keeping him from ever breaking a sweat and went to see if the others needed help.

Yumo was having a blast. After hitting some guy that the other man threw into him he slammed the lamppost upside down just as the guy from earlier began beating the men with his own weapons. Then another guy appeared and began to shoot the people nearby. Yumo laughed and he jumped into the air and onto the lamppost. He then began to spin in a way that reminded him of a ninja from a show he used to watch. Each time he swung out his hands Streams of blood rushed out and form spears to impale a huge swarm of thugs.

"I'm a blood demon." Yumo said as he stood cross legged on the lamppost.

Smoke billowed up from the floor and when it dissipated there were a severe amount of casualties on the floor. The moon shined behind yumo as he opened one of his Hazel eyes.

"Now who's next?"

"Demon" Lincoln always did hate it when the kids of this generation used words like that, "kill", "demon", or even vulgar language they didn't know what any of it meant. Regardless perhaps he had misjudged this child with powers that seemed quite capable, and fighting skills that rivaled his own, these three probably could have handled this on their on. Regardless Lincoln would answer his question rhetorical or not.

"Theirs not quite anyone left to kill boy" throwing these words in the direction of the kid now hanging from a lamppost while pulling out his own personal revolver and sending one of the last thugs in the area to the ground clearly dead.

Overload laughed. 'A blood demon?' he thought to himself. 'Right. That's some bull...'

And then there was this man. The old one who called everyone 'kid'. Overload understood 'blood demon' or whoever he was, but Prime and he were not children. Looking to the man, Overload smiled. "Call anybody here 'kid' one more time, and I'll obliterate your irate ass, okay?' turning to Prime and the kid, he nodded. "You two seem okay? Most of the thugs have run off, but it won't surprise me if they come back." Turning back to the old man, Overload asked "Now who are you? I could have sworn that you broke your leg earlier..."

"Just someone who doesn't like seeing an unfair fight, though perhaps I should have sided with the thugs." Lincoln said approaching the man stupid enough to threaten him. Electricity would be a new injury but he highly doubted it would take too long for it too heal.

"Though you may call me Governor." Lincoln added offering his right hand to the man.
