Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Coffinhunter August 6th 2011, 8:11 pm

The Samaritan was ushered into the helicopter with little more than a brief introduction to his assigned partner, Vengeance. The chopper took off and joined the 'Apocalypse Now' style battalion of Air-Calvary into the hot zone, immediately after entering Seacove's temporarily opened borders the anti-aircraft artillery started. Green bolts of energy shot into the air and exploded all around the Chopper, the turbulence was bad and both men had to hold on. A single burst came up and exploded directly in front of the helicopter, the blast killed both Pilot and co-pilot in a single blast, but it didn't manage to stop the propellers or it's forward momentum.

The Samaritan unbuckled as the aircraft leaned and headed in toward land. He could see that Vengeance had already freed himself and asked it the man need help getting down., he didn't know if Vengeance could fly.Once answered he let go and let the chopper crash into the swamp below. The Samaritan cursed himself for not flying in(at a whopping speed of ( 29 MPH ), but he couldn't fly as fast as an average helicopter, so he accepted his fate. He floated out of the the burning wreck and immediately landed so that he didn't attract any more defensive fire. In the end they found that their was another barrier inside the larger one that restricted their movement any further. Nothing was more clear than their need to engage the giant abandoned building that lay before them.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Guest August 8th 2011, 9:21 am

The black angel-winged Incubus/Mutant hybrid looked at the Samaritan from his position in the helicopter and frowned, not recognizing the person at all. The shirtless humanoid hybrid crossed his muscular arms as his wings twitched a bit from the movement of the helicopter. From behind the black veil covering his mouth, he frowned as the helicopter was hit by the defensive fire. The leather-clad hybrid narrowed his violet colored eyes as the helicopter started to go down. He quickly evacuated from the helicopter and dove out of it, flapping his wings in the wing to keep himself from falling. He watched as the Samaritan dove out of the helicopter and floated to the ground. He dove down from the air and landed next to him in a soft landing. The son of one of the world's greatest and most powerful villains, the son of the Big Bad, indicated for the Samaritan to lead the way with his head silently.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

The Samaritan saluted while the chopper with the dead soldiers sank down deep into the swamp. He then turned to regard his new partner. The winged thing was menacing looking and when it flicked it's finger in the direction of the abandoned manner, he knew it meant to get right to business.

He was glad his partner was winged, they'd obviously been paired due to this fact. The Samaritan took off and rocketed at a breath taking, 28 miles per hour toward the mansions front door. He meant to smash right through it and start searching for any survivors.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Guest August 9th 2011, 10:34 am

The son of the Big Bad raised his black eyebrows in surprise at the speed at which his new partner took off and flew off after him. What his new partner was planning was obvious. He intended to smash through the manner and search for any survivors. He chuckled to himself in a sinister manner at the thought, thinking the possibility of his new partner getting hurt was hilarious. He supposed it was the blood of his mutant father running through his veins that found other people's pain and misery so amusing. He silently flapped his wings and took off right after him. He secretly hoped they would run into trouble because he hadn't had a decent fight in quite a long time and he was anxious for one to get down.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Coffinhunter August 9th 2011, 12:03 pm

The Samaritan didn't smash the door with his psychical form, instead unleashing his newly gained power. Blue electricity coursed out of his eyes and mouth and leapt forward frying the large wooden door and turning it to cider just before the red-clad superhero flew through the smoke and ash.

He landed in the large foyer and placed his hands on his hips. "HELLO? HELLO?.....CITIZENS OF SEACOVE, FEAR NOT. YOUR GOVERNMENT HAS SENT IN THE COMBINE FORCES OF THE SUPERHERO WORLD TO SAVE YOU FROM THIS ALIEN MENACE! REMAIN CALM AND WE WILL SAVE YOU ALL MOMENTARILY" The dim witted superhero cliche yelled out at the top of his super powered lungs.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Guest August 9th 2011, 12:39 pm

As the Samaritan smashed through the wall, Vengeance followed after him at a leisurely pace as he chuckled coldly, hoping that the Samaritan might have injured himself a bit. He flew around in the air calmly as the Samaritan addressed the people inside the mansion, if there were any and he figured it was time to follow in after him. The second generation villain and grandson of the Devil landed next to the Samaritan, his long black hair blowing in the wind as he impacted with the ground. He looked around calmly with his violet-colored eyes and crossed his muscular, pale arms, choosing to sit back and letting his for now ally take care of any citizens in trouble. It wasn't his business to help out any, as his father would say, weak squishies.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Coffinhunter August 10th 2011, 9:58 am

"Maybe they are hiding in the basement ....you know? Like in the classic American cinema classic Night of the Living Dead" The Samaritan pointed down at the mansion's tarnished old wood floors. He leapt up into the air and came down with his muscled fist. The floor directly around the Samaritan gave way with the greatest of ease and he floated down into the sublevel.

"You should search upstairs, Winged Avenger!" The Samaritan hollered out to the creepy pale figure that had been following him like a silent ghost. He wondered to himself if the menacing appearance wasn't a ruse to cover Vengeance's frailness. One thing was for sure, he'd find out just how tough the angel-esque creature was when they engaged whatever these aliens were.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Guest August 10th 2011, 11:25 am

The Samaritan made a comment about how perhaps the people in the mansion were probably in the basement. That would be a logical conclusion but for Vengeance, he didn't care one way or the other. They were only pathetic humans and it's not like he really gave a damn about them. The only reason he came along in the first place was because of the thought of getting to face the aliens that were invading and being able to have a shot at showing them the power of the son of the Big Bad. "Indeed. Or, their might not be any squishies, as my father would say, in the mansion at all" he said in a slithery voice in an almost uncaring manner as he shrugged his shoulders.

The noise created by the Samaritan smashing through the floor instead of just using the staircase, was enough to mute any mumbled phrase Vengeance had uttered. The Samaritan rocketed through the Mansion's basement at nearly the speed of a moped scooter. The thick dust and masses of cobwebs were a sure sign that this mansion hadn't been lived in, in a while, but that sort of deduction escaped the do-gooder super hero as his intellect wasn't his strong suit.

Once the basement was clear he decided to reenter the upper levels and see if his new creepy partner had found anything.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

Post by Guest August 15th 2011, 11:40 am

Vengeance looked down through the hole in the floor that his new temporary partner smashed through. He shook his head silently, memories coming to his mind about how his succubus mother told him that his father would have probably done the same thing. "So, into the abyss then?" he mumbled to himself as he sighed and flew down into the dark hole, landing softly on the floor of the basement. He petered around through the darkness as he felt the walls and managed to find a light switch. He flicked it on and took in his surroundings. He then turned to the Samaritan and looked at him with a borderline impatient expression. He came for a fight, if talk of this whole alien invasion was real and so far, he hadn't gotten into any fights. If he didn't get one soon, he was going to have to resort to fighting his partner or maybe seeking Pain out and kill him like how he originally came to Seacove City to do. "These must be either the smartest aliens ever or the most cowardly ones if they refuse to come out" he said to his partner sarcastically in a slithery, menacing voice. The half-Incubus/half-mutant hybrid was anxious to get into a fight. He supposed his anxiousness to fight these damned aliens was from the blood of his father.

Samaritan & Vengeance Empty Re: Samaritan & Vengeance

"You don't follow direction very well, Vengeance, that's not how functioning combat units operate. Are you having a hard time understanding me? I asked you to go have a look around UPSTAIRS!" The Samaritan shook his head and flew away from the creepy looking retarded thing before he was tempted to punch it in it's face. He would have to do the task himself, while the brainless pale beast followed behind like a lost dog.

And there it was again, that mean streak popping up in the inner monologue within his head. It had been happening more lately, those negative thoughts were something new. The Samaritan of the past would have never thought about punching someone he was partnered with but now; or at least since his new power manifested, it was something that was happening with some frequency. He'd only ever let it slip once, in Hamburg a reporter said something mildly offensive and the Samaritan simply reached out and cuffed the side of the man's head, it concussed the man. Luckily the press was far more forgiving in the media of Europe than in America.
