The Personality

Ken is far quicker to get angry and is not at all tolerant of being betrayed. He is fiery and short-tempered and sometimes ill-mannered. But other than that he could be rather seen as a more joyful lad, enjoying the time of his youth. As a child he was always the class clown and a goof-ball.  Always quick to joke and comment lightly upon any situation that he and his crew found themselves in. It's good to see some of his good traits came along with his age. He's a bit more brash and outspoken at times in moments of deep distress and panic.

Even though he's in one of the most notorious gangs for being able to always get away flawlessly. He knows the line between right and wrong. He states that he only do the things he does in order to survive on the streets. Doing it for so long it has become most of a habit, but deep down Ken's a good teen that cares for others. Especially those within his gang of four, the ones he views as brothers and one sister. Feeling he has an important role to play with his new abilities, he's grown with the ideal that he needs to protect those who cannot defend for themselves. Often times risking his own well being for the safety of others.

The Powers

Power 1 - Electromagnetic phenomena: This ability allows Ken in particular to manifest both electrical and magnetic energy. Ken powers are center around electromagnetism, making him part of the Earth's electromagnetic field as well as capable of generating and storing his own electromagnetic energy. He can choose to keep the electromagnetic energy that he currently holds in his body by controlling the current and voltage for whenever he wants to use it. Ken's body can generate raw electromagnetic energy, which he can control at will for various purposes.

Here's a small list of what he's discovered he could do so far.

  • magnetizing objects
  • electrocuting opponents
  • levitating objects (such as manhole-covers for use in flight) and people
  • restraining or adhering people/objects to various surfaces in the form of "static cling"
  • generating "taser punches" with effects similar to a stun gun and at times enough power to send opponents flying during close combat


Power 2: Electrical Recharge: Ken's able to drain sources of electricity, such as power lines, batteries and fuse boxes to recharge/replenish his own energy supply.  Even absorb electrical attacks if he concentrates.

Power 3: Electrical Healing Factor: Being exposed to Electricity activates his hidden healing factor, allowing him to restore injuries to even an extreme injuries. He has to be absorbing forms of electricity in order heal properly.

Injuries can be restored from.

  • Scratches
  • Severe Wounds
  • Even broken bones/limbs


Power 4: Electrical Interference(Unknown Ability): Ken's powers grant him resistance or immunity to forms of mind control, since the human brain is an electromagnetic organ. His greater bioelectric field shields him and his brainwaves from any attempts at reading his mind and asserting control over him. He however have yet to experience this firsthand, having not met a lot of mutants lately.


  • This can protect him from any effects that happen with others tampering with his mind.


Power 5: Electrical Adaptability: Ken can use his powers to hear radio waves and tap into phone lines, including listening in on the police broadband and music stations, as well as making calls, and is also able to use his powers to mimic the uses of electronic devices such as a CD player and is even able to use his powers to use an ordinary trashcan cover simultaneously as a shotgun microphone and a loudspeaker. Tricks he picked up from his gang robbing sprees.

Further Examples.

  • Raising his hand to his ear and using eletricity to pick up on radio waves. Almost like being on an invisible phone.Alowing him to ease drop on conversations etc etc.
  • If he holds a Cd by the middle with his index finger, and sends it spinning with eletrical flow and holding it to his ear. He's able to listen to the music as if it's coming out of a CD player.

The Weaknesses

Weakness 1: By an analysis of his blood shows that Ken's electrolytes/blood-salt levels are higher-than-normal, highlighting that he needs higher blood-salt levels to support the use of his powers, but the higher sodium levels seem to have no effect on his health.Resulting in him to always eat foods with a lot of salt or drink energy drinks inorder to perform.


Weakness 2: If Ken uses his powers to a high degree, or experience any other such large energy-drain, he will also experience a sudden, acute sense of fatigue, as his electromagnetic powers are tied-in to his own bioelectric energy levels. So low of power, low of energy. He's passed out once before from overexerting himself.

Weakness 3: Insulators- as his powers have little or no effect on them. Wood seems to be the one he has the most difficulty with, as it cannot be electromagnetically manipulated, levitated, or damaged.

Weakness 4: He has a vulnerability to water which (as water is a conductor of electricity), if he gets taken and drenched by surprise, shorts out his powers until he can dry off and replenish them. He can, however, fly in the rain without short-circuiting. Getting drenched would result in a large electrical discharge, harming friends and foes alike. Usually resulting in him passing out or being extremely fatigued.

Weakness 5: Quick Temper- there's moments where Ken's rage can cloud his judgment and even result in him to make bad calls. Rather find it more benefitting to get even rather than play nice. This can also result in his to discharge more electricity than preferred, causing him to burn out faster and result in chaotic electrical accidents.

The Fluff

When he uses his electrical powers, they come off as light blue with a dark blue outline. Also when he's agitated sometimes slight sparks can be given off by his body. If touched you will get a slight shock, like when you touch metal for the first time.

When extremely furious is eyes will also radiate a bright light blue glow that completely covers his eyes, tiny traces of electricity will emit from his eyes aswell as other parts of his body.
