Night.  The rain was coming down hard, illuminated in the dirty yellow streetlights.  Even in this part of town, you could find good people, if you knew where to look.  John Cross was one of those good people, though you wouldn't know it if you looked at him.  He was currently watching the smoke rise off his cigarette, dozing off in his threadbare office chair. ("Threadbare Office Chair. Great name for a band, that is." John thought.) The only two things on his desk were a thick leather book with moth-eaten holes and a grinning skull.  The desk was the only notable feature in the front room of his building.  The only other rooms that were ever used were the bathroom (Second door on the left, if you were sitting where John was.) and the bedroom (Upstairs, first door you see.). Literally every other room in the place was filled with all manner of unsightly things.  Whatever demonic objects John couldn't destroy, he brought here.  This had the unfortunate side effect of John's building giving off an aura of black magic that could be sensed from at least a mile away, drawing dark creatures towards the place like flies to a deer carcass.  Fitting metaphor, there were at least two rotting deer corpses stored there.  Only two kinds of people walked through John's door: Clients and Demons, attracted by the dark power.

Jeisen say on a roof top, next to a chimmy as he watched the city at night. London had become his home away from home as he always fouń a reasons to come back. Certainly wasn't the weather or food though. Patrolling the city by night had become his hobby and his job. An armored guardian in the night for when things went bump, he bumped back.

At least that's what he did most nights. Right now he was just leaning agonist the chimmy, tossing a knife up and catching it before it feel to far. Loson was seemingly quiet for the time being. That was a good thing, but didn't make Jeisen any less bored

Jeisen:" Nolan, you sure nothing is happening?"

Nolan:" no sir, for the fifth time... No crimes are needing your attention right now. I will keep you informed"

Jeisen grunted back to his sassy a. I. Soemtimes Nolan was just frustrating.

"Bloody hell, Ben. You're really tellin' me that the one night I actually need a job, there's no blokes out there to offer one?" John asked the skull incredulously.

"I'm certain that I'm telling you exactly that." The skull replied in a pleasantly-accented voice.

John's only response was to slump back further in his chair.

The room began to rush with steem as red lights spewed into the room. The hue went from barren and cautious to fear inducing as sparks erupted from the ground and a roar rattled the entire building. It echoed through the halls as if the creature was everywhere at once. Yumo was on the street in front of the building and sensed the creature inside just before it roared. He vanished inside as the roar rattled the building causing the people around him to begin to cry.

He ran into the stairway and jumped up towards the floor the creature was on. As he flew closer and closer the sense of danger and the feeling of blood lust increased. He busted past the floor and crashed into the ceiling. He was then stuck and couldn't budge for a couple of seconds. He finally fell and grabbed the railing of the 3 floor from teh top. Just as he pulled himself over he saw the creature walk out of the room it was summoned from.

It looked around for a few seconds then noticed Yumo hanging off the rail. It screamed once more sending a huge gust of wind towards him as well as bad breath and noise. Yumo looked in shock and regret as he wished he'd just continued walking like it was nothing to him that something screamed. The creature surged forward at great speed and hit Yumo off the rail. The hit the wall and began to fall to the bottom floor.

Yumo hit the creature sending it hurtling faster towards the ground but teh creature quickly grabbed him and slung him under neath him. He then released him and Yumo flew to the ground at a speed that could only be described as I'm about to get sooo trashed. Yumo slammed into the ground then the creature stomped on him and caused the entire bottom of the building to break. The windows shattered and wind rushed out pushing people into the street and onto the ground. Alarms began to wail in the building as they hung off their hinges.

The creature picked up yumo and threw him outside and into the building on the other side of the street. It then rushed out breaking through the wall and charging into yumo. Yumo caught a glance of a blonde haired guy sitting in a car calmly watching him. "Damn it's a Tallow." Yumo said as he rolled from the line of fire by the creature.

He then took a car from next to him and swatted the creature into the building he was thrown from. Danwells Tower Hung on the top of the tower like a giant becon for trouble.

Tallows are people who summon creatures known as The Hunter from holes in reality known as voids. Tallows have several sub abilities but their main and most known ability is the rush which is what they use to summon creatures and attack.

Image-The hulk but with a goat head and little legs. Claws on his large hands and a long snake tail with a steel rattle on the end.

These creatures are known for their immense strength and speed considering their size. They are normally 7-8 feet in height and weigh at least 2 tons. Their body itself takes up normally a whole street, not including their tail.

Nolan: "Sir! Good news! Or well... bad news, but its the news you were looking for. You know its a little messed up you wanted to something bad to happen. I think that makes you like.... a bad guy. Shame on you."

Jeisen didn't get up from sitting next to the chimnney as his little robotic friend tried to be funny. Best that Nolan just got it out of the way so Jeisen could actually here the news already.

Nolan: "ERhem... anyways, ya something is going down on On fifth and elm street. It looks like a tower had a person thrown through it by a much bigger person. Reports are fairly confused on what is happening, but you should defeintly make your way to the scene."

Jeisen stood up slowly, dusting himself off. Finally, a little bit of action to spark up the night. He wrapped his cloak around himself as he crouched in a sprinting starting position. With a lurch and a scattering of roof top tiles, Jeisen took off at almost top speed, letting his momentum take him from roof top to roof top. With in just a few short moments, Jeisen was within 100 yards of the scene, still on top of the roofs. He paused, standing there as he tried to identify just what the hell was going on. He unsnapped his twin guns then combined them into the sniper rifle just so he could get a better look.

Focusing down the lens, Jeisen could see a giant of creature. The blasted thing seemed to take up a whole street. Jeisen could spot a man fighting it as well, but he seemed to be having a bit of trouble so far. Jeisen only took a second to decide that the creature was the bad guy, with it seemingly not caring as it almost killed multiple civilians with its thrashing. Striaght up bad guy behavoir right there.

So jeisen crouched down a bit and began to open fire with his rifle, trying to pin the creature down. Maybe if he could hurt it a bit then that guy could get out of their before he got hurt.

Ares had been traveling for the past few months, roaming through random cities and villages, leaving trails of the blood of the evil. He had traveled to the U.K. in search of new scenery. He was listening in on a police scanner while on one of his nightly patrols. "We have reports of some sort of creature engaged in battle with a Meta on ....." The police scanner screeched.

Ares sprung into action darting across rooftops on his way to the battle. He could hear the commotion from a block away, the roars of the creature echoed through the streets with the screams of civilians. Ares sped up as he saw the creature, which was incredibly big, as it swung at the man. He heard gunshots and turned to see a man firing a rifle at the creature. He quickly decided that the creature was the main issue and decided he needed to intervene. He backed up, let out a roar, than dashed forward and launched himself off of the roof, daggers drawn, into the battle.

"Johnny-boy, you don' have to slump over anymore." Benny (the skull ) said excitedly.

"Hm? Why?" John mumbled without opening his eyes.

"Because I just found you work."

John finally arrived at the scene of the battle, carrying Benny in one hand and his spell-book in the other. His spirit gun was waiting in a shoulder holster.
It took him only a few seconds to figure out that Goat-head was the villain here. Setting down Benny and flipping open the spell-book, John began casting Infernal Flames as a ritual.

Just as it looked as though the situation would reach it's climax for worst case scenarios it began to get worse. Yumo jumped back to avoid the getting crused by the beast's arm as it slammed into the ground shaking it slightly. He pulled his hands out the hole sending chunks of rubble behind him absently towards the new person who tried to jump on his back. With a clap of his hands a large sound wave pushed yumo back into a car and over the roof.

Bullets flew past yumo just as he got up. They pireced the creatures legs, but he seemed unphased. In fact he seemed to have not noticed the blood leaking from the wounds. Yumo looked behind him to see a glimmer of light which he figured was also a new comer. "Fuck this just got even worse." Yumo said as he grabbed the light pole next to him and swung at the creatures face. It connected with a loud crack and sent the creatures head to the left pushing teeth from his jaw.

A tail rushed from behind him and swatted yumo into a convinience store. He flew in like a truck and crashed through the first two rows of food and other various items. The creature then screamed again as he noticed the rest of the people that surrounded him.

John's eyes briefly flashed orange-red as Infernal Flames finished prepping. He released the spell's pent-up energy, summoning flickering flames in a circle around goat-head, which exploded into a massive column of fire that completely enveloped the beast, the flames going at least 250 feet into the sky before vanishing.

Jeisen stood up as he spotted more people jumping into the fray. They were either very very stupid humans or metas. Luckly it seemed to be the latter as they were taking the fight to the beast. Good, with them down there, Jeisen could just stay up here with the covering fire against the creature.

He brought the rifle up to his eye once more as he began to lay down a massive volley of fire at themonster. He was aiming for anything soft like eyes or an open mouth or even the joints of the beast. If he could cripple it, then those other metas could bring it down all that easier. \

Nolan: "Sir, i have been scanning that thing and I honestly have no idea what the hell it is. Seriously, that thing is of a completly different make up then any life on earth and I'll even go one step further and say this galaxy. Maybe this dimension or something. It is just so... bizzare."

Jeisne: "Well keep on scanning and recording all the data you can from it. By the time we are done fighting it, maybe you have enough data to understand it no?"

"Well, It's just a real bloody party now, isn't it." John said as he saw the abundance of beings joining the fight against the beast. He slammed his spellbook shut and lit up a cigarette with a small flame on his thumb. "Hopefully they'll be able to hurt the damn thing." John mumbled to Benny.
"Hah! Hurt it? They'll be lucky if it even notices them attackin' it!" Benny the Skull commented telepathically to John. Benny was kind of a jerk, back when he had a body.

Yumo looked at the flames as they erupted out of nowhere and rushed into the air. Bullets still continued to spray, but it was too late. The Tallow in the car had caught on that there was more than just one person here and the creature would as well, and probably now increase it's destructive capability. A large red circle appeared beneath the flames as they vanished and the creature stood in the center in a dark black charred state.

But the flames wouldn't do much of anything. Yumo fell to both knees and looked behind him and called to the others whom he knew where at max like 3 blocks away. He used his blood ability to manipulate his vocal chords in order to project his voice farther than humanly possibly. "It's about to get way worse." He yelled.

Just as he finished something hit his entire body. It was the hand of the hunter. He slammed into Yumo with excessive force and caused him to crash through several buildings and into another road. Yumo got up and let his body release it's demonic energy as he finished the game playing. This creature was killing his night and he didn't like it.

As the Daiblo ran across through the buildings Yumo pushed off with all his strength jetting forward. The creature was looking to ram him, but that would be a mistake on his part. Blood rushed out of the vials on his wrist and surged forward towards the ground. When it reached the floor beneath the creature it lunged straight up pushing the Daiblo's head upwards leaving his chest open for the hit of a life time.

Yumo hit him with most of his strength as they collided. The ash on the creature pushed off showing raw skin that was rapidly healing as the daiblo flew the opposite direction. Yumo Then made a giant hand out of the blood streaming from his vials. The blood proceeded to punch the creature, but it quickly got it's footing and took the hit like it was nothing.

The Creature screamed and looked towards the bullets and the magician. Nothing needed to be said to know what the creature was about to do. Yumo raced forward as the creature made a dash towards the person with the bullets. Several hit the creature in the shoulder and thighs as he ran on.

He then jumped up and was about to land on the building the man was using for a vantage point.

"Bloody hell... the thing's barely even scratched." John said, his cigarette falling out of his mouth.

"Maybe you ought to use Ba'alzevuv?" Benny suggested.

"I'm not that desperate, boney." John replied. He instead began cast Creeping Burns on the giant monster, raising the temperature around it to incredibly high levels, to the point that metal objects near the thing started glowing orange and melting.

Several other had joined the fray against the creature, which didn't seem to be affected much by their efforts. There was chaos and fire and Ares was loving it. He threw one of his daggers at the creature then rushed at it using the other to slice at its throat. He didn't care what the others were doing, he was going to kill this creature.

Nolan: "Sir? It appears that your bullets are doing nothing but making it mad"

Jeisen: "yea thanks I can see that, switch to the later bursts"

Nolan: "sir? It appears te creature has jumped.."

Jeisen: "..."

Nolan: "oh look at that, it's going to come down right on top of you."

Jeisen just dove forward, off the roof without even looking up at the beast. Nolan's word was good enough for him. He lossened his atoms and phased striaght through the neighboring house with ease as he heard a thunderous crash behind him. The houses were so close packed that Jeisen's dive took him through not one but two houses, ending up in the bottom flour o a third house with a small thump. Well a big thump. He crashed in to a tea set.

Oops.

British people wouldn't be happy with that. Jeisen stood up slowly, groaning slightly. He wrote Sorry on a post it note before heading out throug the front door.

He closed it softly behind him as to not wake the people inside before turning to find that bloody monster. Jeisen unsnapped his twin revolvers and jarred up two lazer bursts. Jeisen didn't know what that thing was but this would hurt
