Riding Power Lines

"What the?!" Wifi said in confusion as just a moment ago he was about to be thrown into an abyss, and now he was sitting calmly in an old warehouse? None of this made sense anymore, but he still had a baddie to take care of.

"Okay... this day has gone from crazy to insane in a matter of seconds... someone mind telling me what happened? Was this teleportation thingy you Geo? cause it sure as hell wasn't me..."

Wifi scratched the back of his head in confusion. Looking around the room for any clues as to who or what had helped them escape.

Geo was about to turn around and fire his weapon at the mass of darkness, when it swallowed him up without permission and transported him somewhere. He was angry when he came out of the darkness into an abandoned warehouse. His gloves were active, one of them crackling with electricity and the other burning with fire.

"...It was that one. I can sense him in the shadows. Who are you? If you kidnapped us for the wrong reasons, prepare for a world of hurt...if you were trying to save us...I didn't need saving. We need to stop that metahuman from wrecking the city."

The two heroes were confused, it was clear, Shade only hoped that they hadn't seen him. Maybe they were too busy with the fight, thought someone else had taken them here but it was not the case. Geo had somehow sensed him and was now yelling at him. It scared Shade, made him feel ashamed and worried him all at the same time. All he had wanted to do was to help, to prevent them from getting hurt, but clearly they didn't see it that way.

Reluctantly he emerged, what appeared to be a black cloak smoking darkness around him, his piercing red eyes cast down over his perpetual toothy grin. "...please...please don't hurt me. I only wanted to help." His voice was dark and gravelly, put with a high pitched twinge to it, indicating his age. "That big man was going to hurt you and I stepped in. I'm sorry." Shade's shoulders sunk as he sank to the floor in a position that came as close to sitting as one without legs can get.

"Okay... well, you are obviously scared of us... so I take it that your a genuine good guy, or at least a nice guy? Whatever... you have a cool way of moving around... and if you are a meta human like us, then it is only right that you help us now." Turning his attention away from the scared creature and towards Geo Wifi says, " listen... this guy helped us out, I don't know about you but I was about to bit the dust just then, and lucky for me this fella' stepped in and interfered with my untimely death. So whatever grudge you got, put it away and we'll address it later. We have to stop the Rock from crashing down town, and I say the more the merrier... You guys in?" Wifi says sternly but with hope in his voice.

Wifi then holds his hands out to Geo and the mysterious stranger in the hopes that they join him.

Geo deactivated his gloves for the moment, taking a deep breath and then letting it go. He was still pissed off, since there were people that were probably dying now because of what this shadow creature had done. If he had just saved Wifi, that'd be fine...but why was he taken as well?

"Fine. But make no mistake, shadow guy...I'm not weak. You don't need to protect me." Normally, Geo would be shy and quiet, but now he was determined to stop the Rock from hurting anyone. He gave a thumbs up to Wifi, then opened up a window and levitated out, heading to where there were police trying to subdue the Rock. The streets were a crumbled mess with the Rock's power destroying pretty much everything he came across. Geo flew down and landed in front of him.

"Remember me? Come on, let's take this somewhere else, if you're really up for it."

Geo went off in the opposite direction, heading to an unpopulated area while the Rock ran after him. He was fast, despite his huge bulk.
