The Impact:The land of the dead Empty The Impact:The land of the dead

Huntress was thoroughly dissatisfied with the arrangements they were given. True the team wasn't split up, but they were without Lady Elena, a major part of the teams power. Though they didn't openly complain as they were herded into the helicoptor one, by one. Along with a shirtless samurai, who seemed somewhat capable anyway. Though Theresa hoped that was more than just his motif. She made sure to look over him very carefully, as Malice quickly doed off into a peaceful sleep. Phil tapping nervously on the metal interior of the coptor, as his green eyes darted to the pilots. He was hoping that this wasn't some sort of trap made to kill them off away from Elena. He didn't trust anything with heroes involved. Atleast that crazy cow bitch was not here, he would've tried to kill her. Rules be damned on that respect. The vessel flew lazily intot he outskirts of the city, as Theresa made sure to moniter the lazy hum of the blades.

Though one sounds caught her ear above any other, the sound of a round flying through the air. With little time she yelled to the others in the coptor."Get ready, someone's fir..." The sentence was cutoff by a loud explosion, as the coptor rocked. They weren't hit too badly, but it was some minor damage. Enough to send them into a nosedive. There was a commotion that hurt her ears for a few moments, but control was quickly reaquired. Though they were forced to land in an unknown area, which she was fine with. Though she had to check on the status of one of the pilots. He was bleeding badly from a wound on his side, but she didn't know where it came from. This was not good at all, she quickly kicked open the door. Jumping out into what could be a necropolis, by the smell that burned her nose. The co-pilot that was unhurt offered to take care of the injured one, while they went on ahead.

Theresa puled a vial of healing salve out from her pocket, throwing it to the man. "Rub this on his wound after removing whats in him. He should be fine." She smiled at the two men with a disarming smile, as she rezipped the puch on her thigh. Phil raised an eyebrow at her act of kindness, digging his hands deeply into his pockets.

"Thats unlike you, why are you helping him. I thought you didn't care about the cannon fodder." he was being plain. Though Malice just rubed his eyes lazily, as he looked at the pair. he honestly didn't care what the two did, and Huntress ignored Phil's comment. Walking onward, following the brown haired girl. They didn't really plan to wait for the shirtless samurai to follow.

"Now lets try to find lady Elena, I don't like the feel of this place." She could feel as if something was watching them, though she didn't let it show. Weakness was not something that would need to be shown in the place of the dead, especially now.

"Hey theres a cloud of smoke over Down Town. That's where the station is supposed to be, maybe you can meet up with anyone you're looking for there." The uninjured pilot told them as he tried to pull the shrapnel fromt he mans body. Huntress liked this info, she thank the man, motioning for the others to follow. Seems like she had an idea for where to find Elena now.

The Impact:The land of the dead Empty Re: The Impact:The land of the dead

Bushido listened to the briefing intently, trying to find his own conclusion to these very strange events. What the hell have you you gotten me into this time... he wondered silently, thinking about his oyobun's cryptic message. Apparently he was supposed to fly into enemy territory, where he would be shot down without a second thought if these "aliens" caught sight of the helicopter. Besides those obvious reasons for discomfort, he also had to rely on an ordinary human pilot to get them through any danger in the skies, which Bushido didn't find very appealing at all. Fortunately the team he was had prior experience working together, meaning they most likely wouldn't be dead weight. All in all though, Bushido was not liking his chances as he reluctantly stepped into the helicopter.

The mission started well enough, and the collection of villains inside the vehicle refrained from killing each other or the pilots, which was close enough to getting along. The problems started when the helicopter got a little to close to whatever was guarding this city. A ferocious explosion shook the helicopter, and Bushido knew that they were sitting if they didn't land soon. The explosion had forced the helicopter out of control, but thankfully the pilot was competent enough to regain control and make an emergency landing. As soon as they touched down Bushido stepped out of the flying deathtrap. He looked back to see the other villains talking to pilot, so he approached them. One of the villains, a very good looking woman, gave the pilot a healing salve, and as he helped his injured copilot, he gave them some direction.

The woman took charge, heading in the direction the pilot had told them and motioning for her teammates to follow. As they left Bushido looked back at the pilot. "Thanks for your help." He told the man with a respectful nod. The pilot looked at him quizzically, as if surprised at how courteous the villains had been. Bushdio didn't stay to chat, he turned around and followed the other three. They had apparently landed in some sort of ancient gravesite, but beyond that he couldn't tell and he had to return to the group.

"I suppose you have a plan." Bushido called out, catching up to leader of the group, "Because you took to the pilot's instructions pretty quickly." He studied the woman, judging from the way she walked that she was an experienced fighter, perhaps even as good as himself. He also checked out her teammates, a tough looking guy who most likely the muscle, and a dark looking shirtless guy who's powers couldn't be judged from sight.

The Impact:The land of the dead Empty Re: The Impact:The land of the dead

Huntress turned to the fellow villan, raising an eyebrow as he asked her a question. She did take the pilots advice pretty quickly, but she took it as someone repaying an act of kindness. Though she had never had that happen to her before, it was just an assumption. She considered what he said for a second, eyes darting over to Phil, and back to Malice. Both just standing there as if expecting her to answer the mans question, which was obvious. When Elena wasn't around, she had to think up the plans for them. They didn't have a plan exactly, but there was a good one. Go to the police station, and deal with it there. True Phil may have wanted to kick some alien ass on this trip, but none had shown up, yet anyway.

"I have my own plans, though I can't say i've factored you in yet." She looked over Bushido, one thing she could tell was that he carried himself like an experienced fighter. Maybe he was superhuman as well, though she wasn't sure yet."I would be more comfortable if we learned more about each other, but not in this place of the dead. So we could have introductions, but don't expect us to stop for a nice long chat." She said walking onward, wondering if the guy was even following them. Phil just listened to Huntress drone on with a neutral expression. "So why don't you introduce yourself first, since I know how much you love meeting new people." She was doing this to get on the mans nerves, and it was working.

Phil sighed, digging his hands deeper into his pockets."Fine whatever. My names Phil, and don't you laugh at it. I pretty much am just fast, strong, tough, and pretty skilled in combat. I like long walks in the park, skiing, and candlelight dinners." He snikered to himself at the last bit. Smirking as Theresa glared at him over her shoulder intensly. Though he winked back at her, suppressing another laugh."Now you're turn." He moitioned with his left hand he pulled from the pocket.

Theresa frowned, wanhting to kill him so much right now."My names Theresa, but if you call me that, I will kill you. I prefer to be reffered to as Huntress, or The Huntress. I'm a proffesional assassin, and I kill stupid muscle bound idiots." She crossed her arms, tapping her blade loading boot against the ground, before moving onward. Stench of death assailing her oversensative nose. "This one is Malice, he doesn't talk much, but hes also one of the strong ones in our group. He also has an interesting ability to control shadows." She pointed to Malice, who just looked over the place with a devious smirk. As if he was home in this place.

Phil turned to Bushido, raising an eyebrow."You know a little something about us, now its your turn. Can't really make a team if you don't know anything about each other." He wondered if the guy would really go along with this, or not. Hopefully he would, though they waited to see, as they walked further into the Necropolis.

The Impact:The land of the dead Empty Re: The Impact:The land of the dead

Bushido smiled. He was liking this chick more and more, her attitude was refreshing, far from the wannabe gangster yes-men he had to employ as grunts for the Yakuza. Maybe after all of this was over she could be a valuable ally... Bushido pushed the thought away. It was to early to be thinking about that, not when they were in the middle of enemy territory with possibly no way out. After hearing all of their introductions he was told to give his own. This wasn't something to take lightly, because first impressions can mean the difference between a loyal teammember or a stab in the back. That was something he learned the hard way in the Yakuza. It seemed that these people were comfortable enough in his presence, even cracking jokes in front of him, so he didn't need to make it too formal. He also had to avoid looking like a complete idiot, or these guys wouldn't take him seriously.

"My name is Bushido." he started, "I'm a master swordsman, dual wielding being my specialty." He motioned to his twin fangs before continuing. But I guess you could call me a bit of a renaissance man. Hand me pretty much any weapon and I could kill with it. I also have a way with upgrading weapons, so don't mistake me for 'musclebound idiot'. All in all I guess you could say i'm a pretty nice guy, granted you're not at the other end of my sword." Bushido added that last part to avoid seeming too friendly. After all, they were all supposed to be villains here, and he didn't want these guys thinking he was soft.

Finished with his own introduction, Bushido looked over the team one more time, memorizing their faces and and names, and adding their powers to his mental database. Its always good to remember who you're working with... or who you might be fighting later. He followed the Huntress, careful to stay slightly behind and beside her, as a partner and not a lackey. He wouldn't let any misconceptions make her or her teammates think he was just another hired gun.

"Well its a pleasure to meet you Bushido. Now that we have introductions out of the way, we can get to more important matters. I have the oddest feeling that we are being watched. I am unsure if it's just a hunch, or the reality of the situation. So until then try not to give any indication that you think we are being watched." She made sure to whisper that, as she looked over the surrounding area, nose still being attacked by the scent of death. She didn't like this, but it was now the situation she was stuck with. Especially since she had the feelign she would be stuck in the city for a while. Though she was unsure of the reason, but now was time to get to the station.

Phil looked equally nervous, as he looked over the area quickly, chewing on his lower lip lightly. He looked a little uneasy in this city, but she couldn't tell. While Malice looked like he was enjoying the city far too much, he had a dark grin across his face. As if he was about to go into a murderous rage in a second, though he stayed subdued for now. As the shadows formed snakes that writhed, and wrapped around his body. Yet they didn't hinder his movement one bit. He was having a sort of nostalgia in this place that made him want to slaughter. To kill every living being that set foot within his path. Though he didn't for a reason unknown."Yes, kill them all. He muttered to himself, too low for anyone to hear. As his hands gripped tightly, silver hair blowing slightly in the wind. Bloodlust rising in him like floodwaters, as he craved to kill. if something was watching them, it wouldn't wehen he finished with it.
