The Family Meeting - Chapter 01

The atmosphere was gray and heavy rain just came down the city like it was the end of the world. The clouds masking the sun, and the streets becoming ankle deep puddles. The heavy and chaotic traffic only made it worst for drivers but happy for pedestrians who ran to the nearest shelter under the rain. A grand mansion in the richest district of Newyork stood tall and proudly with the America flag waving from the rooftop on a steel pole. The interior of the mansion was amazing with old english furniture, silverware, kitchen ware, and beds. The owner of this mansion sat in his office chair with his hands folded together as he awaited his special guest that just arrived inside the mansion. The office double doors opened and a bald man with a blonde thick beard and blue red eyes entered the office and sat right across from the owner. The blonde man spoke first in a respected tone of voice.

"Mr Royals, or by your appropriate name, Don Royals. I come to you to do jobs that others have failed in."

The way he dressed, in a dusty old suit and pants, looking like an alcoholic drunk than a family man. Knight replied back as he unfolded his hands and drank his tea.

"Your name is King, and your family is known as the Royal Flush Gang. King, Queen, Jack, Ten, and Ace. I have heard of your families history. You guys don't normally operate under working for people and the items you steal are swords and ancient history. However, in my line of work, it's all about money, and seeing as how you are desperate. I am willing to hear you out."
