The Looks

Valarie is a gray marble statue that, though magics that she can't explain, has been animated. She stands at roughly six feet tall, with a slender, curvy frame. At first she wore no clothes, seemingly possessing no modesty at all, but once awakened she started to wear clothes mainly for others, even though she doesn't seem to care if she is wearing anything. Valarie has a long, sharp spear-like prehensile tail that she can wield as a weapon. She has a cute, somewhat angular face that is very feminine. Her skin and hair are a light shade of gray, though she has solid, ruby-red eyes which glow timidly, reflect a submissive and servile nature that is expected of a gargoyle. Her skin is cold and smooth to the touch, a consequence of her marble material, yet she is quite soft, almost squishy, just like normal flesh. Her hair reaches down to the small of her back. Valarie has a pair of little horns upon her brow, and has bat-like wings sprouting from her back which unconsciously give a gentle flap every few seconds. Her long, spiked tail tends curls timidly about her thighs. She has two normal human legs sculpted to end in normal human feet. Who ever crafted her obvious attempted to make her as human looking a possible. Hanging from her wrists and ankles are golden shackles. They are connected to chains which are broken on one end, as it they where once connected to something

The Legacy

Personality:

Valarie is bound by magic to protect others at all costs. Because of this, she can not kill at all, which is something she isn't always happy about. But she is a naturally shy person, not wanting talk around people. The only person she isn't shy around is the person who she considers her master. Unless she is being forced to fight she is relativity submissive.

History:

Centuries and centuries ago there was once a church. This church, whose name has long been lost to the ages was once a mighty force in the world. The way the achieved this was through their artificers, who created golems and gargoyles. The golems where their offensive weapons, one was equal to that of 100 soldiers. Gargoyles on the other hand where made to protect and serve judgement while their creators where away at battle. The Gargoyle's where housed in large cathedrals, each chained to their own pedestals until they where awakened to pass judgement. However gargoyle's could not kill, the enchantments that gave them life prevented it. Anyone judged to death would be held captive until their masters return. However life can not be created or truly destroyed, so the artificers studied different ways to create the golems and gargoyles. At first they tried to use the souls of their captured enemies. It worked but the Gargoyles where weak and often struggled against their own physiology. After many studies the artifices found the best beings to be the core of their creations... demons. Once enchanted to do the bidding of a single master the gargoyles crafted from demons where nigh unstoppable. Victoria was once of those demon born gargoyles, still having memories of per past self, it was hell.

It also didn't help that her master was perverted. Often commanding her to do tasks simply for his enjoyment rather then what she was made to do. She wanted to kill her master so badly, but every time she tried to kill him, her body shut down on her and refused to move until she gave up. But one day, a day she doesn't quite remember clearly she was ushered into the basement of the cathedral she was housed in. Her and about 9 other gargoyles her fully petrified. Next thing she remembered she woke up and all of the other gargoyles where in ruins. Her chains where broken and yet say no one around to call master. So she wandered out of the ruins of the cathedral she was in. The place she was in looks so different. Strange metal beetles and towering buildings all around her. People stared at her while she wandered around, only dressed in her shackles. Not like she had anything to show off anyway as she was a being made of stone. She currently wanders around, looking for a master and a purpose. Until then she protects those she thinks who needs it, and punish those who do wrong.
