The Looks

Kevin's Hoodie conceals most of his face during the day, and at night he is almost completely concealed by the shadows of his hood. His identity is even more hidden by a black bandana he places over his mouth and nose when he is out as a vigilante.

The Legacy

Personality:
Being restricted to night time, his companions are usually shady characters or late-night party-goers. He doesn't know many people who are considered 'normal'. Being a product of his environment, he has a few quirks himself that makes him stand out from normal society. His beliefs on justice and what is right and wrong can frequently contradict all the time. He may believe that killing is wrong, but might kill someone in order to save a life. He still would rather not kill at all if he had a choice.

History:
His father was a metahuman who was well-known in the community for being a heroic icon for the city of Chicago. His hero identity was a government experiment named Twitch, and had heightened superhuman abilities in speed, strength, and agility. He earned the name twitch for a nervous tick he had that make him tweak his neck every few minutes as if he were on edge. Kevin was initially raised by his parents, he was diagnosed as blind. However from birth he showed slight signals of being metahuman, though they were undetected.

As he grew older, he noticed that he could see more and more clear at night time. He began sneaking out and adventuring in pitch darkness, gaining his first few moments of seeing for the first time, his emotions would overwhelm him. He could see color, shape, texture, and beauty. Unlike his father, his gifts weren't due to experiments. His father had actually passed down the metagene onto him. He had all the same features as his father, only he was able to take a lot more punishment on his body. He tested it frequently by jumping off 1-2 story buildings, trying to land on his feet.

At the age of 12, he was out with his parents in the middle of daytime. A driveby by a local gang killed both his parents, but their aim was high, and missed Kevin. Inable to see in the day, he could not locate their killers nor avenge their deaths. He was left helpless, as his lust for revenge grew throughout the years, he developed technological advancements that allowed him the advantage in night-time combat. Now he was the one who could see, and his enemies were blind and helpless. m

A man from the government who knew his father, Gene Lemo, approached him at around the age of 14. Owing his father a favor that he had yet to repay, he trained Kevin how to defend himself, others, and how to engage opponents. This entire training session was given to him in the daytime. Gene still believed Kevin to be born blind. Therefore, Kevin had to learn all of his martial skill blindly. He trained his other perceptions to locate distance and speed of opponents. In the night-time, he would just be much stronger.

The Powers

Power: Kevin has the ability to see clear as day in pitch darkness. The only drawback is that he cannot see things in the light. A high beam flashing on a car will conceal the car from his vision. Because of this, he has become a nocturnal creature, and does not come out in the daytime unless he plans to do so blindly. (1 Ability)

Gadget: EMP Pulse Wristwatch (4 Intelligence)

Kevin created this watch, and it is designed to be concealed as a normal watch. Shows date, time, ect. However, hidden in its circuitry is an EMP Generator that can create a shockwave that can shut down all electrical devices within 2 city blocks. The effect lasts 4 posts, and has a 2-post cooldown.

This device does not shut down player Characters, Characters devices ect, unless the character allows it.

I'd like you to explain how he got his hands on stuff to make an EMP watch, or if he got it off the black market. It's a level 4 INT item that covers 1 mile. It should cover less than that. Way less. I see it taking out a block or two of electrical devices; if not less.

You should also expand on his history a bit and explain his Superhuman Strength, Speed, Durability, and fighting skills (7 Fighting Skills also means your character has enhanced human reflexes). You gave me more backstory for your characters father rather than your own character. You did tell me that his parents were gunned down; so that sparked the vengeance in his heart, but you didn't tell me how he got his other powers. Please do so.

Other than that, the rest checks out.

I really like that he's only blind during the day. (:

The following edits made:

-The wrist-watch was created by Kevin, and only has a 2-block radius.

-His powers were passed down from his father, who was a government experiment. The metahuman effects were passed down, and improved from what his father was.

-His Fighting ability was trained by a former friend of his fathers over the past 2-3 years.
