The teleportation spell needs a range that can go up to 200 yards. It also only works within sight and to place they could reach without obstructions.

So long as you know that your spell "I know" cannot be used as a meta-gaming tool, you're good to go. I would, honestly, plan ahead to use the power. Discuss in PMs or in OOC bullets while you RP with other players.
