Mystery of the Volcano

Jordan stood and watched the white hot lava spew out and the stranage mans hopeless efforts to put it out with the water he had some how 'pulled' out of the air.

He found himself suddenly wanting to speak more. "Before we all...possibly die... My name is Jordan everyone..and you.." he pointed at the gentleman using water on the lava, "are wasting your time with water. It's almost 1,300 degree's celcius....and the water you're pulling from the air, which is full of sulphur, has an average temperature of around fifteen degrees...trust me, you'll never stop it with that. So please save your efforts friend."

As he said this, the molten lava easily broke through the thin crust that had barely begun to form onto of it after having so much water poured onto it.

"I'm here to help in any way I can...but first, let's take a look at what we know and what we don't. That way we can draw up an intelligent plan, from everyones educated ideas."

Jordan wasn't sure if that would sit well with the others, but somebody had to say it and quite frankly, if they didn't like it, he didn't care. He wasn't about to go head first into a situation without some sort of intel.

Things were already not looking good as lava began pouring out of the hole Tikiman had created. Luckily, he demostrated more of his rock shifting ability to raise them above the lava spliting it to their sides but the level was rising almost as fast as the plateua everyone was standing on. The water user attempted vainly to cool the lava but only managed to form a thin crust which simply broke shattered from the flow.

"It has very low Viscosity..." Connor shouted out over the rumbling of the the ground beneath them, observing that the lava flowed closely similar to that of water. "Liquid will travel the path of least resistance and we need to direct the flow into a cool source." Connor stated the obvious, but he wanted to make sure everyone understood his logic well enough. He wasn't sure of the full extent to Tikimans powers were but he was pretty sure that he couldn't make a troth leading down to the ocean on their right.

Walking to the right edge of the rising plateua, Red prepared himself for what he knew would be a painful jump as he took several well placed steps for a adequate running start. When he reached the left end of their little island swimming in the lava he leapt as hard as he could past the flowing lava and into safety roll on heavily slopped hill. He could feel his ankle twist and the muscle strain as he took hold of what ever walk he could to keep himself from sliding down the hill. He then tapped 'Equip' and in his hand appeared a spray can. Red limped close to the lava, his suit was designed to handle the heat but touching the lava would result in a very painful experience that Connor doubt even his healing prowless could withstand.

As quickly as possible he started making a line of foam down the slope until finally it reached a ledge which dropped off into water. Placing a pin inside Connor quickly grappled up the volcano and pulled himself away from the line of foam. In his free hand he hald a remote detonator which he triggered causing the pin he had placed in the foam to spark igniting the explosive foam. It wasn't the most precise explosion Connor had ever set up or seen but it was enough to redirect the flow of lava towards the ocean effectively stopping its' rise to his partners. The can dematerialized and disappeared back into equip along with the other devices as Red waited to see what they would do next.
