I fell asleep an angel and woke up as a human.

When Scar woke up her whole body hurt. It wasn't good. It elt like she was on fire, but the pain was more inside. It felt like fire was trying to push its way around her body. she tried to remember what had happened before she blacked out. There had been a fight and then she had seen Faith, in her own body... Scar's head spun as she tried to remember. Slowly she got herself to open her eyes. The light in the room was dim and she was hooked up to some fancy heart monitor. She closed her eyes again quickly as the pain in her head took hold again. Where the hell was she? Then it registered there wasn't someone else in her mind. Her eyes shot open. She was human - holy crap she was human again! Was Faith dead? Or did she have her body back? She sat up and the world spun. She felt a hand on her chest to try and push her down to rest. She looked up and saw...

Xyron, gently stopping her from getting to her feet. "Dont get up, you've had a very trying time." He waited patiently for her to get re-oriented before he continued. "No doubt you've noticed that your inner companion is no longer accompanying you. Dont worry, she is safe. During the fight with Raide, you two were seperated. A collision of energy from Raide's attacks and your own generated a rift inside you, right along the bond you shared with Faith. Your body sustained damage from the other soul being ripped from you and, because of the magical forces involved, even my powers have been rendered almost inneffective to heal you. It's a miracle you survived at all." Xyron smiled at the irony.

"But how are you holding up? Is there anything I can attempt to clear up for you?"

"My head hurts..." she said weakly as he made her lay back down. She came that close to death... Faith was okay though. Her body sagged in relief at the fact she was okay. Faith was like a mother and sister to her, if she died Scarlet would be... She winced again.
"And my chest.... actually everywhere hurts..." she mumbled, squeezing her eyes shut and gritting her teeth to banish the pain.
"W-where am I?"

"You're in the Medical Bay. You were brought here immediately after the incident.” Xyron’s hands glowed as he extended them over her. He used his empathic powers to locate the worst injuries, and relieved them.

“Good, it appears the magical residue is fading. I should be able to get you back to normal in no time.” He focused his efforts again, and his hands brightened a little. Xyron’s empathic sense informed him that Scar’s pain was practically melting away…

Scar felt the pain just melt from her body. She sighed in bliss as her eyes fluttered closed. She was so tired...and achy... like she's slept wrong. It was a numb pain and then it was gone.
"Thank you..." she managed to say before swallowing. She scruched up her nose and then opening one eye. "Do you have any water?" she asked. Her throat was dry as anything.

Xyron smiled at her. "Of course." He turned around to face the sink, and moved his hand slightly. It started pouring cold water immediately. Another flick of the hand and a small portion of the water stopped falling and formed into the shape of a filled cup. The sink turned off and the invisible cup (filled with visible water) started to float back over to the two angels -- or the angel and the once angelic-host. Xyron snagged the cup and handed it gently to Scar. "Here. It might taste a little... over sanitary... but It wont hurt you. I promise. The water here is more for use in surgery and cleaning than drinking, but it is still water." Xyron was mentally surprised at how fast she was recovering, even with his help. Perhaps Scar's close contact with Faith had left some lingering properties. Or maybe the seperation wasnt as clean a break as he originally thought... could a piece of Faith still remain inside Scar and vice-versa?

Kip walked in with a briefcase bag strapped around his shoulder and a blazer on, not exactly Medical Bay attire but he didn't care, he had gotten some work in on the Medical Bay and he had became pretty good at medicine, though he couldn't exactly cure like some of these angels. Kip's main station that he usually stayed was the Prison, but it bored him too easily and he was more worried about helping others. "So What is the matter" he asked before looking up and seeing Xyron, he lifted his head to catch Xyron and he immediately smirked knowing he was the healer of the angels, or that is from what he had seen, Kip sighed , slowly shaking his head.

"Or are you better already, eh?" he asked in his fairly thick accent, he wasn't sure if he was interrupting anything special so he kind of shrugged and took a sip of the coffee he had in his left hand, which was wrapped by a protective sleeve, he leaned up against the automatic door preventing it from closing again, he reached into a side pouch and pulled out another coffee, people told him he was addicted, but this one wasn't for him. Kip held out the cup to Xyron "This if for you" he said with a smile as he examined the girl that was there. "You honestly look fine by my eyes, why are you in here girlie" he said playfully.

"My angel decided to tear her way out of my body, you?" she asked bitterly as she drunk the drink. Her head hurt and she felt like she wasn't in her body at the moment. Honestly all she wanted was Pains arms around her and to feel safe.

Faith cleared her throat, her eyes narrowed slightly. Her long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes suddenly had an icy edge to them.
"Raide put me inside of Scarlet, she was my host for about 2/3 years and we seperated today, we don't know how. I'm fine of course but seeing as though she is now human, all of the wounds she obtained over the years are going to slowly hit on her so she's going to get worse, I'm surprised she is a alive but I am glad she is," Faith sighed.

Scar opened her eyes quickly.
"Faith! Omg you still look beautiful," she tried to laugh but it hurt and she winced, doubling up in pain.

"Rest Scarlie..." Faith said but she couldn't help but laugh a little at her friend.

Xyron took the coffee, sipping it gingerly. The humans practically swore by this stuff. It was rumored to have sleep-reducing qualities, and Xyron was going to need it tonight.

"Faith is right, on all accounts. Your wounds are serious, and they wont be getting any better unless you rest. Obsidor or myself will be here throughout the night to see you through the worst of it." Xyron took a sip and barely hid a grimace. Even with the sugar and cream, the hot beverage was still bitter compared to most of the drinks he had tried. Still, it would help him stay awake, and that would help Scarlet recover. He could handle the taste. Another pang of pain told him that more wounds were resurfacing, and he set down the drink to resume healing. As he did so, he smiled at Faith.

"Dont worry, she's in good hands."

Faith chewed her lip in worry as she saw the pain written across Scarlet's face. Faith was angry and upset and terrified for her friend.. Everything they'd been through for the two or more years was coming back onto her. Why didn't she think this would happen?
"I'm sorry Scarlie..." she said and stroked the girls hair back from her face.

"I'm fine...Honestly," she half hissed the last word. "Fucking burn - omg I can swear again!" she blinked then grinned at Faith and stuck her tongue out in a cheeky manner. She tried to lighten the mood, to not show the pain she was in. When Xyon began healing she slowly un stiffened and closed her eyes.
"I just need to..." she trailed off falling asleep.

Kip watched her fall asleep, he was worried about her. "She seems to be in a lot of pain" he said as he walked swiftly over to a computer and began typing quickly on the sleek keyboard, after about a second a couple of beeps were heard and Kip entered a password, a long beep proceeded and Kip stood up and walked over to a long tube like system fixated on the side of the wall.

"Look I know you are a healing angel and I know you are her friend but I am going to induce a powerful anesthesia to put her to sleep, this will give her the rest she need for a proper recovery, and it will put her out a lot of pain, making it easier on Xyron, modern medicine has it's advantages" he said as he picked up a bag filled with a clear liquid from the platform below the tubes and put it next to Scar's monitors and placed an IV on her inner elbow and put the drip on low.

"Trust me, she is in great hands, I promise" he assured both Xyron and Faith as he ran his hair over Scarlet's forehead checking for a fever and moving the hair out of her face and smiled. "I promise" he said quietly.

"Please... please do she is the closest thing to family I have ever had," Faith said, frowning, twisting her hands. She ached. Faith wasn't happy that Scarlet was so hurt. She sat down by her friends side and took her hand as she looked up at Xylon.
"Is there anything at all I can do to help?" she asked softly. Faith really did look worried about her friend.

Xyron smiled. "I know this may sound cliche, but prayer is always an option. If you know how to ask, anything is possible." He stopped healing momentarily. The young human looked almost peaceful. "Also, you may remain here as long as you like. I'm sure she will draw solace from your presence."

Kip looked up at Faith and nodded, "Xyron is exactly right, she will definitely know you are here and will most likely benefit, and you are welcome to stay, and I am sure me or Xyron would be more than happy to stay down here with you to keep company, hell I could probably get some other heroes down here as well. Anybody in particular you want?" Kip said as he continued to move Scarlet's hair, and making sure she was as comfortable as possible.

Faith took a breath. "Scarlet might like Pain to be here, they're sort of an item..." she began. "But I don't, I don't mind, whoever can help her I will do anything to help them," she said as she kissed her friends hand, not taking her eyes from the girls face. She was so worried about Scarlet.

Scarlet frowned in her sleep, a look of pain crossing her face as she whined in her sleep, moving slightly.
