I n f o r m a t i o n

Reason for this quest:
Worrying reports of irregular activity have reached the desk of Jonathan Javian. The NPPMF was hired to help secure a large scale logging operation near the Congo river basin. Until now, conventional countermeasures against protesters and Eco-terrorist have been successful. However, reports of the trees and vines coming to life and attacking the loggers have been becoming more and more frequent. These reports coincide with Intel about a particular cult that has recently begun operations in the area that call themselves The Children of Gaia. The leader of this cult is said to have the blessings of nature at his disposal. The Lost intends to meet this recent escalation in kind, and is reaching out for support in this matter. Furthermore, this is the perfect opportunity to begin networking with talented individuals.

Basically, you should:

Primary Objective: Secure the operational integrity of the Congo River Basin logging operation.
Primary Objective: Discover the true nature of the irregular attacks on the logging operation.
Primary Objective: Put an end to the irregular attacks on the logging operation.
Secondary Objective: Subdue and capture the source of the irregular attacks on the logging operation.
Secondary Objective: Protect the lives and well being of the logging operation workers and NPPMF operatives.
Secondary Objective: Subdue, capture, or kill members of the Children of Gaia cult and any other hostile forces encountered.

R e w a r d s

Rewards: 4 Xp for Medium Difficulty participation.
The New Path Conglomerate is willing to pay characters a reasonable fee for participating. Considering the nature of the task, it is a considerable amount of money.
The Lost has prepared a generous pay bonus for irregulars (super powered individuals) who participate. This was not promised, but is instead meant to be a pleasant surprise. However, this bonus would only be awarded to those whom The lost knows for certain is an irregular.
Those who help complete the mission successfully will gain favor with The New Path faction. The New Path Conglomerate might offer long term employment for particularly promising individuals.

This Quest is intended for Brenith, but any other interested players are welcome to join, but please ask those involved before jumping into the topic or post here.

The Lost and his NPPMF Security Contractors will also be participating in the mission, acting as support for players involved.

I plan to control the Children of Gaia and their cult leader as quest specific NPCs (Do I have to make a boss bio for them or something similar?). Players involved in the thread are welcome to control cult member NPCs to a certain degree, but I do ask that the cult leader is left under my control.
