Personality:
Zadkiel is focused and feels the urge to always be at the top of his game. He is determined to prove he is as good as he says he is and is described as being prideful as well as arrogant. He has dreams of grandeur and plans to be somebody the world will remember.
Despite his pride and arrogance, Zadkiel is a young man brought up on christian morale's and will always express generosity as well as love for his fellow man. Above all else though he cares for the only family he has, his brother and the people who helped raise them both in the Orphanage.

History:
Thousands of years ago Zeus and his self proclaimed 'gods' emerged, taking command over humanity spawning the legends and tales passed on through centuries. During those days, there was little any man or woman could due to overpower these 'gods' until new religion began to spread among the people leading to an underground rebellion uprising lead by early day meta-humans. Overwhelmed by the 'treachery' of humanity, Zeus and the other 'gods' retreated to Mount Olympus, and Zeus opened a mighty vortex which engulfed the entire mountain. Over time, these 'gods' became things of myth and legend distorted by humanity over centuries of time.

Eighteen years ago the Moirai, better known as the fates, revealed to Zeus that a chance to reclaim that which was once his would arise but first he must amass an army of one hundred sons and turn human against human by amassing mortal followers. With this news Zeus took immediate action, returning to Earth and finding among humanity beautiful, worthy woman to bare his children.

Each child was born on the same day, and every one was a boy just as the fates predicted. However, two of the women knew what had happened and hide their children by giving them to the St. Frances Orphanage in Wisconsin. Zadkiel was one of these children, but at the time he had no name so the head Mother, Marabeth, named him after the Arch angel Zadkiel and then gave him as well as the other child the last name Carpenter, for Jesus was a carpenter and she felt it was a good fit. As for the mothers, it was a mystery as to who they were, or how they learned about Zeus' plans and what happened to them.
The other 98 sons of Zeus around the world were abducted, and seeing as children disappeared all the time, nobody took notice or put together that these children were at all related to anything. These 98 children would be trained from a very young age to be warriors while Zeus sent out his oldest living son, Heracles, to begin recruiting mortal followers by targeting the insane or power hungry to form a cult known as The Chosen.

Zadkiel was raised by the people of the orphanage and along with his brother got known through their little town as the 'Good boys of St. Frances'. Around the age of ten Zadkiel started getting into fights at school against bullies, he would often lose and go home to the orphanage beaten but never broken. In these fights his brother always had his back but they never fought dirty. One on one or if there was more than one they'd fight together.

The school offered a variety of after school activities in which Zadkiel volunteered for, one of them being Boxing which was taught by former professional boxer Jomar Rodri. For Zadkiel, Jomar became the closest thing to a father he had ever had. Jomar couldn't adopt him because he hadn't the financial stability to do so but this didn't deter him from teaching Zadkiel things the Orphanage couldn't, such as working on cars or other trades of the hand like carpentry or utilities.
At sixteen Zadkiel started apprenticing after school for a local carpenter named Tom Burch. Zadkiel used the money and skills he gained to help out the orphanage as well as giving up free labor to people around town who needed it which further spread him and his brothers renown. With some spare cash Zadkiel bought his first car, an old beat up 1969 ford Mustang which he, along with help from his brother fixed up together.

They were never adopted, and they never got handed anything. At the age of seventeen Zadkiel got his first tattoo, the word Genesis 3:19 in black on his back just below his neck.

' By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.'

Little did Zadkiel know that his life was about to change on his eighteenth birthday, when his powers would emerge and his location revealed to his father who has been searching for them for years after their mothers hide them.
