Steel Industries Tower Empty Steel Industries Tower

Steel Industries Tower Steel_11
"Steel Industries Tower"

Business: Steel Industries
Built/Founded: 64 years old
Location: New York City
Appearance: The main building is a large tower that has a very corporate air to it, having a total of fifty floors. While only being thirty floors tall, there are an additional twenty stories beneath the ground where all of the science happens. The thirty floors on top are used mostly by the people who work with sales and legal departments while the twenty floors beneath the ground are the ones that spend their time working on prototypes for new weaponry, vehicles, robotics and even medical purposes.
History: Set up in the fifties, Vergil's father, Alexander Aiken was a man with a vision. Having survived the second world war, he had seen the horrors of the world and wished to use the wealth of his family in order to do something more for the world. It was his vision that caused the company to become as big as it did, supplying the world with defensive weaponry to protect against global threats such as nuclear bombs. Creating things along the lines of grounded turrets and even satellite prototypes that would one day serve to target and destroy nuclear weapons before they could be used, the leaders of the countries that purchased these advanced weapons used them for means of intimidation, not doing what Alexander wanted. In the years following the birth of Vergil in 1992, Alexander stopped supplying the world with defensive weaponry, knowing the world was not ready for them, focusing instead on using his knowledge of robotics to better humanity for the sake of his dying son. Now, Steel Industries has a far more humane name, owning various hospitals, mines and research facilities all over the world.
Main field: Steel Industries focuses mainly on robotics and new age creations along the lines of cyborgs, vehicles, androids and nano-robotics. While some are constructed to serve as weapons, others are created to serve humanity by curing diseases and even growing back lost limbs. Steel Industries is considered to be a very humane corporation that buys a lot of smaller firms in order to increase it's influence upon the world.

Steel Industries Tower Empty Re: Steel Industries Tower

Post by Capt'n Sinnarr July 24th 2014, 5:51 pm

Base Name: The Vault
Purpose: The Vault is a large underground facility that is located directly beneath the Steel Industries tower. Having walls made out of Omninite-infused Spectrium, the base itself is cloaked from sensory arrays, making it one of the safest place in the world. Using it as the Spectre, it is the place where all of the stolen information is stored for safe keeping.
Location: New York City
Appearance:
-The Garden: The garden is the first thing someone will see when one walks out of the secret elevator and sets foot inside of the vault. Finding themselves in an underground utopia filled with large amounts of flowers, bushes, trees and other plants, the Vault generates it's own oxygen. Running through the forest are artificial rivers that are constantly kept fresh and clean by the Omninites that swim through them. Tending to the trees and plants, the Omninites regulate the growth of plants and also regulate the sub-tropical climate inside of the main area of the Vault. Aside from plant life, there is a diverse amount of bees, moths and butterflies that help maintain a healthy eco-system inside of the Vault. While it started as a means of remaining self-sufficient, Vergil actually enjoys walking around his garden, sometimes tending to the flowers himself. Having a hexagon shape, every corner of the room has a door that leads to another section of the Vault.
-Workshop: A personal workshop where Vergil can safely work on his Battle-suits, his gear, the Troglodytes and his own Omninites without any prying eyes. Special security protocols allow him to quickly seal off a part of the room and incinerate whatever is inside in case something goes terribly wrong. The interactive walls of the room can be controlled to not only incinerate what is inside but also to move together and crush whatever is inside, just in case torching it would not be enough to stop it.
-Firing Range: An interactive firing range that allows Vergil to test out his Spectre Battle-suit in combat simulations against holograms, sentinel turrets and even androids. Aside from that, it also has a regular firing range.
-Sleeping Quarters: The sleeping quarters are as the name implies, sleeping quarters. Having several large rooms that can be decorated and used as a bedroom/living-room/kitchen/bathroom, they have been built in case of a disaster, allowing him to save people by having them move into the Vault.
-The Nexus: The location of a supercomputer that is directly connected to the Hub, storing all of the information he has stolen, as well as the information belonging to Steel Industries. The Nexus is the largest, most secure room in the entire Vault. Around the supercomputer are tall walls that run up into a dome-like ceiling. These walls are all made up of screens that can be used to show Vergil everything his satellites pick up, allowing him to keep an eye on the world while staying in the comfort of his own home.
-Garage: The Garage is where the Spectre Battle-suit is stored along with all other vehicles made by Vergil. It is also the place where all non-prototype weapons are stored so that everything is kept safe in one room.
History: A large facility that was built by Vergil over the years once he started working as the Spectre. Using his own inventions and the useful bits he picked up from around the world, he figured that if he was to keep everything he had stolen safe even if he was to ever be captured, a place would have to be made that could not be entered without his permission. As such, the Vault was created, a place that can very well be considered the safest place on earth.
