Saiya

In the days when Lord Freeza seized control over many planets in the universe and the Saiyan race worked day and night for the conqueror, there was a low leveled soldier by the name of Bardok. He loved to fight and seemed to love nothing more, him and his fellow partners teamed up to take down many a planet together for Freeza. Among these soldiers, however, was a woman by the name of Fasha. A single night where both dropped their bloody passion in a moment of lust is where this story truly begins.

9 months later, after being gone for the entire allotted time, Fasha returned to her squadron strong as ever leaving behind a baby girl to be shipped away to another planet. The baby’s parents never took another glance in their daughter’s direction again. The doctors named the infant Saia, and sent her away to the planet Gelbo to someday enslave its inhabitants and take it over for Freeza.

The child’s pod landed 6 months later in the forest where she lay in a chronic sleep for another day, before a woman found the space craft and called the village king to come look at her discovery. With help from the youth, they managed to open it but no one was expecting to find the little girl within it. The tribal like people of Gelbo had never seen an alien before, and many were frightened and wanted to send the infant back into space. But the woman who found the pod, could not have children of her own, and took pity on her, she told the chief that she would raise the baby as her own. And so she did, naming her Saia, after the tag in her ship.

As the little girl grew, so did her strength. The people were terrified of how powerful she was becoming, at 3 she could beat one of the village’s strongest men, and by 4 she won every match against him with ease. But that was not all that concerned the Gelboians, she also did not appear to be adapting to the peaceful life they had. She was selfish, cruel hearted and wanted only to fight and hurt others. Even her “mother” didn’t know what to do about how she was behaving; it was as though the Saiyan child had it engraved into her small mind.

Life continued like this until one morning Saia overheard some of the adults talking about sending her away. Angry and filled with self pity she took off into the woods to be alone. As she was walking, one of Gelbo’s many earthquakes began to shake the world around her, it was stronger than any quake she had experienced since she arrived. Above her there was an enormous cliff face that trembled beneath the surge and finally toppled over on the girl, paralyzed by the shaking. Huge boulders fell on her, the first hitting her square on the head. They made craters beneath her from their size and speed at which they fell, burying her under hundreds of feet of rubble and debris.

A few hours after the quake when Saia hadn’t shown up for her favorite time of the day, mealtime, the village gathered together and formed a search party. But it wasn’t long before they realized she was beneath the crumbled cliff and everyone went home with heavy hearts, believing she was gone. An entire day went by with no movement, when suddenly the child emerged from the mansion sized boulders and struggled back home.

Everything after that was different; it was as though her personality had taken a 180 degree turn around. She began to use her strength for good rather than evil, protecting the Gelboians from threatening monsters and other hazards, and she was no longer selfish or untrusting. The village fell in love with her quickly and she found a home at last among them. Unfortunately it wasn’t long before her Saiyan heart yearned for something more, Gelbo was a peaceful planet and fighting was in her blood.

Soon after her mother told her how she was found and the king revealed to her the pod she came down in, she knew she had to leave and find who she really was. She wanted to train harder, learn more, and experience the universe. Saia left without a word, she knew her people would not want to see her fly off into what they knew so little of and so it was better done without goodbyes.

1 year later when she was 18, she found Lord Freeza’s ship and was forced to board it by his soldiers. The information she found on the base was all she needed to see that she wanted nothing to do with her true race. Freeza, seeing her Saiyan blood, forced her to work in his army or be killed, his men were far stronger than her and so she soon found herself placed in a low level squadron in the army, fighting for a cause she hated. However one day, while snooping around in the medical wing, she found documents of herself and of two others. She had an older brother by the name of Raditz and a younger one known as Kakarrot all by the same father but different mothers. Saia worked in the army here for 7 years, training hard even under the scrutiny of her peers, hoping that one day if she became strong enough she could run.

It happened, the child reached a power level beyond even an elite soldier’s and after taking over a planet, she attacked her tired “allies” defeating all of them, and took off in the pod they used to land there. Tired and injured, Saia landed on a planet called Earth, hoping to find medical attention for her wounds and perhaps find the little brother Freeza’s men called Kakarrot before he was strong enough to enslave his planet. It’s been 5 years now…
