Questing for Threads

I've been here a short while now and have found getting started and involved to be a bit slow.  As such, I'm hoping to go on a quest for a couple of threads to get to meet and interact with some of the other characters.  I'll include a brief introduction to my 2 characters and a link to their profiles.

Darkshift

One step above street punk, Darkshift is a teenage runaway with a bit of an attitude problem.  Petty theft and vandalism are pretty much a way of life and the only way she really knows to get on in the world.  Not a bad person, she just has no respect for authority and considers her own well being to be the primary motivation in her life.  She considers herself to be tough and street smart, but hasn't really lived long enough to encounter anything to truly test her yet.  She controls her own personal dark energy aura and uses it to 'shift' enhancements onto her body.

Zombiesaur

In some ways Amber is more dinosaur than human.  An undead dinosaur shifter with eyes that see death and decay wherever they look, she has spent most of her adult life living as a deinonychus away from humanity.  Experimented on and forced to kill other 'dangerous' animals for sport, she's only now starting to remember what it is to be human and why she might want to embrace her human side and have it exist in harmony with her predator side.  She struggles with many of the things typically considered important by humans and has a poor grasp of the whys and hows of social convention.  She doesn't see herself as a bad person, but when it comes down to it she's willing to kill without compassion because that's just the way of nature sometimes.

The Fountain of Youth

Juka Miami is wealthy and eccentric flamboyant. He indulges in almost any vice imaginable and loves nothing more than to share his vices with others. Easy to indulge when your powers all but eliminate any negative side effects that might result from such vices. More important he is, quite literally, the fountain of youth. For those wealthy enough and with the right connections, he can literally melt the years away and return them to years younger. Youth is only the way in which he makes his riches, however, and his passions run in feeding the passions of others. A terrible flirt and more than a little promiscuous, he feels accomplished when he's able to bring a smile to those around them. He considers himself a shining light in a world with too much darkness.

Dr. Dressler is always open for interaction with other shifters

Thorgron, Dr Dressler definitely looks like someone Amber would be interested in meeting. Have any ideas for a thread/meetup?

Red, I'd be open to a thread with Darkshift and any one of your characters. Any specific ideas?

Well, Red is big on recruting metahumans, especelly the young and impressionable ones. We could do that or Agent Daniels could come after her and try to do hIs shacklIng thIng. And the third idea is just meeting Data, he's young as well and kinda needs to learn how to be a (meta)human again.

I like the idea of someone trying to recruit Darkshift. Young and impressionable pretty much defines her, although she would never admit to the impressionable part herself. She's just starting to learn to live in the adult world, let alone as a metahuman.

Didn't we agree to do a thread last night? Or was that with someone else? Regardless, I'm available. All of my charries are located in my signature for you to choose from if you wish.

Yes we did indeed, Forceaus. I am in the process of writing something up as we speak, I'm just feeling distracted and its taking a bit. Nevertheless, I promise to have something up before the end of the night and I'll link it once I've got it.

Well, reports of a zombified Deinonychus or other such creatures would certainly draw his attention. Dressler has very recently started to try to create a "pack" of beings like himself. So maybe he helps her to become more human as a means of gaining her trust?

Thergron, it is likely there would be rumours of a zombified deinonychus mainly near the outskirts of the city. Pack animal would most certainly be something t help gain her trust. She's likely never encountered another multi-shifter before and especially someone as unique as Thergron. Would you want to start something up or should I?
