Personality:
Kitiara is a being shaped by her history- an outwardly quiet individual who marvels at all the things earth has to offer, finding wonder in the things we take for granted. She is a fierce, perhaps devout warrior and freedom fighter, who holds personal liberty in highest regard, and cannot stand oppression of any kind. She is deep and philosophical, reciting many proverbs and sayings, and approaches life on earth with guarded caution, but a childlike wonder nonetheless. She is held in utter awe at the abundance of water on our world, and tends to react wildly when she sees water being wasted.

History:

When Kitiara was born, her once lush tropical world had already become a massive, barren desert by another far more sinister alien race. These conquerors had world ships that drained the oceans dry and divided it up into massive mining and manufacturing sectors, spending mere decades to reduce the world to a nearly lifeless rock. She grew knowing only vast desert landscapes, uncaring overlords, the tyranny of the gun... and tales of rivers, lakes, seas and oceans. She, like many of her kind, would be destined to toil away her life in virtual slavery, paid a non-existent wage that was spent on precious life giving water and little else.

Then came the corsairs from the stars. They descended upon the alien mines, but not only to steal their precious minerals but also ‘liberate’ many of the world’s young. So shackled in slavery were they, that only liberation by piracy was the way to be free of the world. Young Kitiara was chosen, perhaps completely by chance, scooped up in youth nets, then given the choice of piracy or airlock. The pirates chose their recruits well, for enslaved souls made for fierce liberators.

She found herself crew to a band of pirates who plied their trade on the ships of their former enemies, privateers for distant empires. She found water in relative abundance among the stars and comets, but longed to see bodies of water. Under the corsairs she trained and grew into a warrior, and later, a hydrosophist by one of their members. Years pass and she would travel the stars.

Her luck would run out, as a faceless law sought to bring Kitiara’s ship and crew to stand trial in a far away court room. They fought, then they ran, then they emerged on earth, battling their dogged pursuers, to be found by metahumans...

The Powers

Power 1: Catgirl Racial Traits (Roleplaying Mechanics): Having evolved from a feline-like species, Kitiara displays natural affinity for silent movement, low-light vision and agility. She also has a tail. Her cat form has racial heightened senses as per normal animals.

Power 2: Space Cat Transformation: And then, the catgirl can turn into a cat.

The Spells:

Basic Level:
(1) Name: Water conjuration
Effect: This spell summons water to a location, usually as a rain or as rising water if cast indoors. A higher volume of water can be conjured if large bodies of water are present. The spell increases the humidity of an area, and also permits water to be manipulated. Renders objects and people in the area "Wet". (1 turn cooldown.)

(2) Name: Freezing
Effect: This spell lowers the temperature in a location. It causes present water and other liquids to turn into slick or rough ice (caster’s choice). It also causes fog to form due to humidity induced by Water Conjuration or by ambient humidity (like in tropical or coastal areas). It also allows ice objects to be created. (1 turn cooldown)

Low Level
(3) Name: Ice Walker
Effect: this spell allows the caster to teleport anywhere in a single large body of water, ice or precipitation, but requires line of sight and maximum of a hundred feet. (Cooldown: 2 Turns)

(4) Name: Wind Walker
Effect: effectively vanish from sight for up to 3 turns, able to perform actions normally. (Cooldown: X2 the duration of the turn of invisibility)

Adept Level
(5) Name: Cone of Coldness
Effect: Breathes an ultra dense cloud of sharp ice and freezing wind, dealing damage and bringing attackers to a crawl. Wet objects/creatures are prone to being frozen. (Cooldown: 3 turns.)

(6) Name: Ice Wall
Effect: Rapidly generates a large wall of sharp, ultra hard ice in a line, with many applications. Wet objects/targets may get stuck in the wall. (Cooldown: 3 Turns.)

Master Level
(7) Name: Healing Waters
Effect: Cleanses the body with enchanted healing water, which mends injuries, ailments and removes most diseases over a period of three turns. (Cooldown: 4 Turns)

(8) Name: Glacial Spike
Effect: creates a shard of super hard ice and bone chilling wind and launches at a location in sight. Snap freezes everything along the way, with a large chance to encase wet enemies in ice. (Cooldown: 4 Turns)
