- Present Level Five Clearance:
Accepted…. Personality: Very little is known about the creation named Garth as he is a being that has chosen to keep himself in utter mystery. While little in known even speaking with him tells you that he is logical, factual and always straight to the point, choosing not to waste time on drawing out conversation more than it needs to be. Unraveling Garth, in his opinion is as pointless as unraveling the intestines of a human being, that is to say you’ll only have as bloody mess that needs to be cleaned up and you’ll be no farther towards knowing anything than before. Garth is quite the introvert, shying away from attention when at all able, the spitting image of reticent nature, Garth is very much a man whom enjoys his solitude. Garth is almost always (if ever) seen as a pensive and impassive person to the world around him and those within it. This is however to not to say he completely lacks emotion, because this is utterly untrue, and in fact far from the reality at hand. While Garth holds the capacity for such emotion, he finds the time used upon pursuing such feelings is an utter waste and he opts to simply dismiss them and pay them little heed. Garth being primarily controlled in emotion does not mean he has no flaws, for Garth is filled by nothing but misanthropy, holding nothing but distain and anger towards the human race whom created and then shunned him and is one of the most obsessive, and hell-bent people on the planet, when his mind is made up it is locked and secured, only able to be talked out of his mentality by his “Savior”. Garth seems and appears to lack any aspiration whatsoever, and in coupling with his introverted mentality, Garth often times just observes the events of the world around him, watching and waiting to be called upon by his “Savior” to enact their will. Garth will occasionally work alone to further his “Savior’s” plan. Acting decisively, and discerning what needs to be done he carriers out his purpose without regret and without remorse. Garth is genuinely calm, reserved and brilliant, though there are moments when his sanity comes into question. For example, Garth displays rather surprisingly potent and explosive aggression towards any and all who threaten his “Savior”, or their plans. That said it is apparent that Garth has his personality conflicts and contradictions, however somehow his bizarre and paradoxical thought process makes him an even more powerful and unpredictable enemy. Armed with his unpredictable and enigmatic nature, as well as his almost immeasurable power and unwavering loyalty to his “Savior”… Garth is truly a terror to behold. History: - An Alluring Origin:
In an age where heroes are born, things seem to always be in chaos. Where there are heroes born, Villains rise in their opposition. It was the cycle of thing, it’s how it went, and that’s how it always will happen. It’s the cycle of history, and it is always in motion.
But what happens when the cycle is broken? What happens when there is a hero is not born, but rather is made? This was the case for Project A.P.E.X, this was the case for Mago Masters, the son of Hannibal masters the Luchador and now crime lord. Born to a human mother named Alexandria O’Hara. Alexandria was the mistress of Hannibal Masters, the once famous hero “Perfect Man”, and the Luchador Doomsday. Mago Masters was his father’s little secret, and while he spent his life with his mother he attempted to keep close contact with his father, constantly updating him about his personal growth in the gym and trying to keep himself in peak if not perfect physical condition.
It wasn’t until Mago was twenty that he had been stricken down in his prime by an illness known only as “Sheyrid Syndrome” Where the immune system turns on itself and begins to decompose the body as if it were already shut down and dead. The necrosis left the body blackened and disfigured in the areas that were not affected by the disease. Of these places, his arms were the first to go. Thanks to the years and years he spent trying to live up to his father’s image, Mago’s arms took a long, LONG time to deteriorate, however it was inevitable, he was going to lose them. His father, apparently cared enough for him that he blew savings that was intended upon his primary family, and triggered a large falling out, one that ended with him losing contact with both his father and his mother.
Mago sat there one day, as his father’s funds kept him alive, he remembered feeling powerless, and no matter how hard he worked his body, no matter how hard he trained…he only wasted away. His brute strength had failed him. He looked that day, the gray lining to the sky. He remembered the as he looked down to that medical book. The day he knew he would make the very illness that plagued him nothing more than a futile attempt against his body. He was going to survive this, though how he did…surprised him…
- The Building up:
Mago sharpened his mind, filling it with theory and countless intellectual as well as supernatural concepts. No corner of his mind went unexercised, and when his mind was not exercised, his body was. He had gone from being at peak human at every level, to just above average in two years, and his death was upcoming soon, even he knew it. Instead of draining his father of the last of the reserves, Mago called him…and begged his father to keep the money for something else, for his family that he had before hand. Little did Mago know that it was too late…the Masters family had fallen apart, and it was his fault…
Mago did everything he could, fought as hard as he could, but no matter how much he studied, no matter how much he fought and tried he couldn’t win. He was going to die. That was until one day…he suddenly vanished…
- Critical Mass:
Mago had been abducted, it was by a government organization to study his rare condition, and hopefully find a way to harness it’s capabilities in order to create a weapon to use as a response to the uprising threat of an ever strange and elusive race. After having failed to harness his condition, the scientists DID succeed in using stem-cells form meta-humans in order to grow new tissue for the syndrome to consume. Keeping Mago alive was a success.
For six years Mago would be captive of the government, tormented and experimented on, genetically altered and broken, until he was totally transformed. He had been reborn, not as Mago, but as “Project: A.P.E.X” or more simply, Garth. It was under this name, his new life would begin. He was tested, tried day in and day out, his memories fuzzy and fading constantly, until the one day that he remembered a doctor…a man without a face. Garth kept asking bout “the others” but the man just said to not worry, and looked away. It was that day that Garth’s eyes were opened…he was a living experiment. For years he heard humans complain and dis the meta-humans, meanwhile they transformed him into one…just to be a weapon or a “response" to this so called threat.
- It All Falls Down:
Garth had awakened., The powers of his mind, the several meta-human geentics thrown into him. IT all awoke, and he had found his powers. Armed with a mind beyond anything the world had ever seen before, Garth was a force to behold, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. Garth dispatched and destroyed the entire lab he had been confound to, making an escape attempt. It was then that he was captured and transported to a new and safer facility...but not before he leaked the security footage to the world wide web. Him dispatching of guards, scientists…The fact that this man had knowledge made him deadly, but now he was using skill as well. The government was able to distract the public…but not one particular person…because of this ONE person…the government’s plans all falls down.
Garth, “The Blackened”, Project: A.P.E.X. The Government’s response to the Ethereal threat, was awake, and alive. He waited, and waited. His primary interaction was from a doctor, a man. One whom had no face. It was day in and day out. Eventually, Garth simply answered the man’s questions…it was as if they had known each other for years he had been dong it so long. But just as quickly as his life had changed before, it was about to change again. He was about to be freed….he would find Salvation.
