Her Majesty's Arrival

Elena Vexus was rather enjoying her time cauing trouble around the world. The differen't organizations that had formed over the years proved rather interesting to her. There were some big names that were coming up on the scene, The Black Night was the only one that she found worthy enough to remember. With being on this planet for over a century, she had come to know the lay out of the land pretty well. Where it started, and where it is now. One of her favorite places was New York City. All the lights and the business of the people, it was simply beautiful to her.
It was a nice day, sun was out and it was partially cloudly. So she decided to pay a visit to this city. It was about 11 in the morning as Elena made her way New York. She was riding in a helicopter, her flight never was really too practical and plus this was much faster. She had her pilot land on one of the tall large buildings in the city so that she could just look out for a moment. She took in a breath, but then realized what point did that have? She technically did not even need to breathe. Elena then began thinking about the well know names in this hero littered world, and then thought that no one had heard of her for a good while. She had been able to evade and avoid the authorities, and no one really wanted her head on a platter, just a couple countries. These Hero types were known world wide, so she had to get on that status. And what better way? She was staning in the greatest city in the world, or at least some thought. Causing something here would be quite a start to her new career. She would figure out a way to get more money later, right now was time for fun.
She motioned her chopper away, and then formed a large chunk of her version of C4 in her hand. It had the same same explosive capabilities, it was just more metallic and less plyable like the original. She then scanned and analyzed the roof she was standing on to find a weak point, after she placed her explosive there and continued inside the building. It was an office building so there were people. She found a hat laying around and took it to put her hair up in it, the hot pink was not something subtle. Her mechanical eyes were doing a constant scan of the building as she walked through and was placing her explosives all throughout the building on the most vulnerable levels. Elena made sure to hide or camoflague them well enough so that they would not be noticed, or at least be kept put until she was ready to detonate them.
Vexus finally made her way through the entire building and walked out the front doors like she worked there. She took off the baseball cap she had found inside the building and tossed it to the side letting her long pink hair fall down. She had a devlish grin on her face because one the hat she threw hit the ground, all the explosives went off in the building in a synced pattern causing the whole place to implode on itself. There was screaming and people running but Elena kept a simple pace with her heels clicking on the concrete sidewalks of the steel forest. If she got lucky, someone would show up and try to stop her, that is, if they could pick her out from the thousands of people walking and running through the streets after an attack like that. Though, she gave them a little bonus by allowing her hair to stay out, maybe to help them find her or something. Pink was never a stealthy color.

The Explosion from the nearby building had people running in panic, making it harder to find her target.Chloe was kneeling on the rooftop with her rifle aimed at the pink haired lady. She had been hired to eliminate her and was counting on succeeding. She took aim with the rifle, it was quite tough to hit a moving target. Chloe made sure no one was following her first, then turned her attention beck on her target. She let the bullet fly but it missed the moving target, burying itself into the wall of the building.

Elena heard a bullet wiz by her head and saw it hit the wall diagonally from her. She the quickly followed the trajectory path right back to where it was fired. Elena spotted the shooter on the roof of a near by building. She gave whoever this was props for being able to get a bullet so close to her. But it wouldn't happen again. Elena formed up her own sniper rifle and locked on to the position of the shooter. Due to her mechanical targeting system, she didn't miss. She took her shot, and she was dead on. The only way she would miss is if her target moved, which was more than likely. Unfortunately for her, Elena had now given away her position, even though someone had already found her now the general public was moving away from her, though the authorities seemed to have known better due to them whitnessing that she could manifest weapons out of what seemed to be nothing. Elena watched the sniper's position carefully to see what their next move would be.

Chloe dived out of the way of the bullet. Her suit was made of kevlar but she wasn't taking chances. She wasn't told her target had powers, just that she was annoying the mob by making their attacks look smaller. No wonder, she thought. She jumped to the next rooftop and pulled out her rifle again. She shot at her again, easier this time because there was no crowd.

This was getting cute. Her assassin jumped onto another building took aim, and fired at her again. Elena saw the bullet coming and tilted her head to the right just enough so that the bullet would miss her head. She began walking at a fast pace closer to the building the the wanna-be assassin was currently perched on. Vexus ditched her sniper and formed a rocket launcher and began to load it as she walked, her heels clicking over the rubble of the building she first destroyed. She held her weapon up, closed one of her eyes and locked on. Elena fired the rocket up at the building, as it was on it's way up she grinned wondering how this gunner was going to get out of this one. Vexus began making another rocket to load for the next shot, just in case they survived this one.

Chloe double back flipped out of the way of the rockets explosion range. She got up and re-examined her situation. She took off at a sprint knowing that she would likely follow to kill her. She jumped to the next roof and continued to move in order to avoid the rocket she had.

Elena was kind of getting tired of this girl's monkeying around. She ran through some calculations in her head and determind this assassin's destination point in accordance with the speed at which she was currently moving. She then put in how fast her rocket would travel and then had now figured the perfect aim. She put the ammunition into the launcher took aim and then waited for the exact moment for when to fire, once it did, the missile sped toward's where this sniper should be landing. However, Vexus did take into account this girl's acrobatic ability and due to such agility, she may miss yet again. Also, she was firing from quite a distance, if she had decent eye sight, she would probably be able to notice that the weapon was not headed straight for her, but for a point in front of her. Yes, Elena was aiming to kill, but she would be happy with causing damage to some buildings as well. She did not view this person as too much of a threat so she figured she could toy around with them a little longer.

Chloe played a bit of a waiting game and stopped her movement before she shot the rocket. She quickly triple back flipped out of the way. She landed on the next roof before grabbing onto clothes lines to bring her down to the ground. She readied her rifle and pistols before poking around the corner and taking aim.

Fire and the smell of death filled the streets of New York's buisness sector, Despite it being the middle of the day James knew he couldn't let this stand!! He hadn't been far away when the sounds of explosions and screams echoed through the streets but unfortunatley for all the people who died in the explosion he hadn't been close enough to do any good.

But now he was running as fast as he possibly could through the crowd of disoriented and terrified people, normally he would go somewhere quiet and secluded to put on his battlegear but there was no time for this now, so as he ran he pulled his costume and utilites out of his backpack, throwing them on while pushing people aside to get to the middle of what was going on.

As he got closer he was finally in full costume and saw that the cops had set up a full baracade surrounding the area but they all appeared to be shook and unwilling to do anything. The air was full of dust and smoke but from what Hawk could see there was one woman in the center of all the destruction, she seemed to be caring a rocket launcher. Hawk had never faced that kind of fire power before but this was no time to be afraid he thought to himself.

Gathering all of his strength and courage he ran towards the police barricade and without making a single sound jumped onto and over a police car, he never slowed his pace, just continued forward knowing he would have to be the one to stop all this mindless mayhem. He slowed down as he got within range of the psycho with the rocket and drew his shuriken, with all of his might he threw it straight at the back of the womans skull, normally he was against killing but he felt there was no forgiving all the pain she had already caused today.

Chloe quickly turned around the corner to confront the target but noticed the man attacking her. She kept her gun trained at her but but decided to let the other man do some work now. She would just say she killed her and get her money. Chloe made sure the gun was trained where she could kill, but wasn't going to pull the trigger. She waited for the man to take her out, no need to waste energy if I don't have to, she thought to herself.

Elena missed again, that girl was pretty fast she had to admit seemed like she was making her way back to the ground after the second rocket hit. But just then, something came up on her sensors. Elena stepped forward slightly and spun around to see what was coming up on her. Unfortunately she was met with a shurikin burried deep in her throat, right in between where her collar bones met. Her eyes widened and her hand went up to touch the metal opject now stuck in her body. She dropped the rocket launcher and it fell to the ground with a large clunk. Her violet eyes stared at the man who had thrown the weapon, they were wide with shock, or so she let him think. She let out what seemed to be a dying cough, and then collapsed on to the ground.
Elena was playing dead. She wanted to let this little hero kid have his moment to shine, and maybe that sniper girl will come closer too. Her pulse stopped decades ago, and her skin is cold as metal anyways, so pulling off dead was just as simple as laying down. She kept her sensors active so that she knew what was happening and to make sure nothing went too bad, but she could not find a secnario where she would lose in this position. She thought about letting out a laugh, but that might ruin the cover. There was also the fact that she was not bleeding. Well, whenever her act was compromised she would spring back up and reclaim dominace of the situation.

Chloe walked over to her target lying on the ground. She looked dead. Time to collect my money, she thought to herself. She made her way closer to her and looked at where she got hit. She noticed that no blood was coming out of it. She didn't know what to think, maybe it had just blocked the blood or maybe something else. She backed away and stood by a building with her hand on her gun, ready in case of attack from the man or something else.

Hawk felt a emotion he wasn't quite sure he recognized when the shuriken dug into the womans chest, he knew someone who caused as much chaos as she had deserved to die but this was the first life he had ever taken. Something was not quite right though, there was no blood. While this was the first time Hawk had made a lethal attack he was not new to causing bodily harm. Maybe she's not human he thought to himself as he slowly neared the fallen body. As he neared he deffinetley knew something was wrong, the blade stuck out of her chest but there was no blood what so ever.....

Quickly pulling his taser out of his belt along with a pair of modifed handcuffs he slowly kneeled down next to the body, he put two fingers on her throat and couldn't find a pulse what so ever, not to mention the body was far too cold for having just been struck down. Slowly standing up and taking a step back he slipped away the handcuffs but kept the taser aimed at the fallen woman. Hawk said in a low voice "Stop playing around I know your not dead." He would look like a fool if he was wrong but this situation did not feel right at all.
