The Serbian Assassin Empty The Serbian Assassin

Post by The Serbian Assassin July 20th 2013, 6:58 pm

Real Name: Zoran Stojanovitch
Renegade/Hero/Villain Name: The Serbian Assassin/The Serb
Title: Assassin
Alignment: True Neutral
Age: 130 (Approximately 33 in normal years)
Gender:Male
Race: Caucasian
Hair:None
Eyes: Blue
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 237lbs
Blood type: B+

Character Image/Character Costume Image (Or Description): Zoran is a tall, muscular man. His build might remind one of an NFL linebacker. Both of his eyes sit cold in his head, but recently have adopted a distant look, like he’s constantly searching for something. His bald head brings out a menacing and dangerous look to them. He has no identifying scars or tattoos anywhere on him, but his look many do not forget. His costume is simple, consisting of black leather black pants. His suit has several “SA”s sown onto it and several pictures of the Serbian crest. Sometimes he wears a mask that covers the bottom half of his face with the Serbian crest etched over where his mouth would be. He would then cover the top of his head with a black hood.

Personality: Personality:
Zoran has changed much over the years. Originally he was a bright, young, overly confident young man trying to become the best assassin the world had ever seen. He was cold, hard, calculating, and loved to brag. The thrill of planning how to kill someone was what he got pleasure from. Even in his thrill, however, he still stayed to his quiet and cold way of killing. If someone ever got to know him outside of his element, they would see him as a quiet and out of the way type of person. He doesn’t often lose his temper, nor show fear.
While he still retains the quiet coldness and confidence, his thrill is beginning to wane. No longer does he care as much as he used to about the kill. After over 100 years of life, he is finally having somewhat of a mid-life crisis. Right now he is on a slippery slope that can lead one of two ways. His coldness recently has begun to soften some, and his hard demeanor is beginning to crack. He doesn’t really bother or talk to people, even less than usual because he is too busy thinking about his future and past, as well as the fact that, for the first time, pangs of guilt are beginning to be felt about all the people he has killed. Right now, he’s just trying to find his way in this world and wondering if what his whole life used to be about was all wrong.

History: Born in 1890, Zoran was the son of poor parents who were killed when he was still a young boy. By the age of twelve, he began tracking the killer, but didn’t kill him until the age of 19. In the early nineteen hundreds, he was in a tumultuous Austria-Hungarian empire where the Serbians were fighting for their freedom. He wanted to join in the effort, and was sad to not have been in the group that assassinated the Archduke. It was around this time, however, that his powers began to develop.
He always had wanted to do something that would best the assassination of the Archduke and so began his life as an assassin. It wasn’t extremely hard at first. With the ability to heal and fight uncannily well and no one escaping to tell about it, it seemed like he was an expert assassin.  He became involved in many political assassinations during this time, for the Serbian side only of course. His career ended, temporarily, when Serbia was knocked out of the war. It was a terrible time for him as he was and still is incredibly patriotic.
The Serbian Assassin didn’t actually come about until about 30 years later, around the breakout and time of World War II. He began using this name as went all around the world, assassinating and killing and after his years of training in-between these two stints, he became very successful and well known in the crime world. The Assassin never really discriminated as he would assassinate anyone for any country.  Life became more dangerous for him, however, as more people tried to kill him, the more famous he became.
Yet he seemed like a shadow to them. No one seemed to know who he was or where he came from… besides knowing it was Serbia. Indeed he had neither other siblings nor parents; it was his grandparents that raised him and they were long dead. He wore a mask heavily during this time so no one would recognize him from his assassination days during World War I and so his identity was a secret.
After World War II he again went silent in the world as demands died down for his kind of jobs. For half a century, he became silent again. While he still did jobs, he didn’t do them very frequently and only occasionally used his alias as the Serbian Assassin. He simply subsisted off of a few jobs a year and set up weapon storage places across the world.
In the 90s, when thing started to heat up in the Middle East, he once again made a grand appearance as the Serbian Assassin. He also moved to America, figuring after all these years he had better see what the hype about it was all about. During this time he made contracts against Middle Easterners and took out several operations, almost becoming an American hero. However, this was when he began to change. After all these years, he just was not finding the thrill in assassinations as he used to. As demand rose, he backed off and the Serbian Assassin again went into the shadows.
For the past few years, he once again has only been taking a few jobs to subsist off of and is still wondering about his life.  Where does he go now? All his life he has known assassinations and killing, what is there now if he doesn’t do that? Is there something more to life? Perhaps his answer will come soon.

Power(s): Regenrative Ability – The Serbian Assassin’s main power lies in his ability to regenerate at an incredible rate. Small cuts and abrasions heal in seconds. Non-fatal cuts and lacerations that still do some damage heal in under a minute. Near-fatal wounds take not much over a minute and fatal wounds take two minutes to heal. Although he can’t regenerate lost limbs or attach them back for self-healing, he has done a good job of keeping everything attached so far.
No Pain – A shoot off of his healing power, Zoran has almost completely lost the ability to feel pain. After being cut, shot, and beaten in almost every place imaginable, Zoran’s skin and muscle has healed while nerves really didn’t. This has left him without the ability to feel pain except in certain areas. This can be a large disadvantage because he could easily receive a deadly blow and hardly feel it. However, it is great for intimidation because he could let a bullet go through him and hardly flinch, thus terrifying his opponents.
Fighting Ability – Zoran has a duel type of ability in his ability to fight. His advanced speed as well as reflexes aids him greatly so that he seems to be a master fighter.  However, after well over a hundred years of life, he is indeed a master fighter and has studied and mastered as well as experimented with countless forms of fighting. He is becoming a fighting master every year that goes by and has learned to tactically counter and effectively fight most fighting styles and even a few blended styles.
