Hero approved! Now what?

My RPG experience is mostly in table-top, pencil-and-paper stuff. I've played Dungeons and Dragons since it was a small booklet called Chainmail, before the "blue box" and before the 1st edition. I've played Champions p&p and Champions MMORPG as well as City of Heroes/Villains MMORPG. Now, I'd like to try my hand at shared imaginative writing experience like this promises to be. I just don't know where to begin. Please help.

I'm new here as well, but from what I've read you're supposed to start planning your first RP after reading all the rules. I'd be happy to work with you if you want to, except I have absolutely no experience with roleplaying, and have yet to start.

If you would like you can start an open topic,which would be you writing a scenario in which anyone can jump into and roleplay with you,though those can get cluttered.
You can also do an invite only thread which is the same but caters to a smaller crowd.
There are also threads closed to specific people if you have someone in mind,
The best thing to do is come onto the c-box and find people to make a topic with you.

As much as creating topics yourself is fun, hopping in on others is cool too. Joining an open topic is also always good. Instead of you creating the scenario yourself , it's already done and you just role-play in it. Most people are nice and will let you join their invite only threads as well (permitting it isn't too far in of course.), Just another suggestion. Welcome to the site! :afro:
