Laxy closed her eyes and felt her surroundings change around her. "Where are we?" She let go of Overmind's hand and reached into her pocket for her lighter to light up a cigarette. She took a drag and blew the smoke downward.

"That'll kill you, you know." Overmind pointed to her cigarette and smiled under his mask, noting the obvious irony considering the situation they had just been in. He walked over to a wall and flipped a switch on. The lights quickly flashed on, revealing a very scientific looking laboratory. "As for where we are...safe will have to suffice."

"Safe is good," she took a drag and let the cigarette hang at her side. "I was on my way to bed before the attack, but now I don't think I'll be able to sleep for days." Laxy paced around the room finally noting the protocol on smoking in a laboratory in which she pulled up her sleeve and pressed the lit end against her flesh, suffocating the flame and extinguishing the cigarette.
