What are we looking for?

HEY! I think you guys are great, I wanted to disclose that before I keep typing because it's how I feel and they made the mistake of giving me the power to submit messages like this hahaha.
Anyways, we are back with short story contests! We want to see one of your lovely characters doing something ordinary or going on a date/something romantic, but as clarified before like PG-13 romantic. So let's see the extraordinary doing something normal and what that would be like!
So with this, we will be going off prior word counts for the short story, a minimum of 1k words, a maximum of 5k.

Where should I draw inspiration?

From a lot of mundane media! Rom-com, slice of life, or sit-coms, plus your own character in a situation like that!

What am I being graded on?

Concept

The concept is a very important connection, how well does it take the concept of being a regular day for an irregular person.

Execution

This is just the overall coverage of it, how the story flowed and how it felt reading it!

Who is grading me and how?

Grading Scale

With the two main components of Concept and Execution there will be a grading scale of 1-10. 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

Bonus Points

Bonus points will be handed out based on grammar, which will be graded on a scale of 1-5. 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
