Extreme Extraterrestrials

Earth. An important strategic position in the universe due to its incredibly wide bio-diversity and proximity to major wormholes. This primitive planet has been visited by outsiders before, but never has it seen something like this. This earth year… marks the 498th festival of shared knowledge! So come on out to earth, you martians, you Raznori, you Broken shells that no one has a name for that can be pronounced in modern english! It’s time to visit earth!  

We want to see your best alien characters. When we say alien, obviously we mean from off the planet earth and from our universe. We want you to give us a good idea of who your alien is as an individual, as well as where they come from and what other members of their race may look like. Remember, you’re getting graded for creativity as well. Don’t just make a Little Green Man.



A lot of places use aliens as an aspect of their world. Any number of sci-fi films, horror films, comics, books. Honestly, just go find something that has aliens in the description. You’ll likely get ideas.  

Your job is to create a character that, not only is unique, but has a unique personality, history, and set of powers and weaknesses to go with it. Additionally, if possible, we want you to create an idea of how other members of their species - if there are any - may look and how their natural environment looks.




The concept is generally diving more deeply into the history of the character as well as the powerset. How well do they work together? How do the powers work? How does the character function in SHRP's normal society?



This goes without saying that we're looking at the overall application and flow of the application. How pleasing it was to read, and how easy it was to understand. Was the origin story spot on? Did it make sense for the character? Are the powers perfect?

With the three main components of Creativity, Concept, and Execution there will be a grading scale of 1-10. 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.



Bonus points will be handed out based on two categories: Grammar will be graded on a scale of 1-5. 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. Graphics will be graded on a scale of 1 - 3. 1 being you using the basic template, 2 you have an image to describe your character, and 3 being that you made a custom template.
