The Legacy

Personality:
Very much a rogue, or a man who is not in the cool kids club, Xander is a young man who always seems to be ignored. Not very many people look up to him, but nor down at him. He would be considered and average class person who works his way in the auto industry. Having very good technical skills. He has excellent hand-eye coordination, as well as foot-eye coordination. He is very much a free spirit that does what he likes, in the moment. Anything such as racing in cars, to jumping off of buildings to even random bouts of horseplay. Almost like the typical college student. There are times when he acts like a child, and others when he can be serious and act like a real adult.

Xander is a free spirit. Making choices on the fly, and living life one day at a time. He never really pays attention to the consequences of his actions, but that doesn't matter that he can't think ahead. He is capable of thinking ahead, he just chooses not too. Carrick despite his powers, is actually not energetic. Preferring to stay at home and drink a beer, or watch TV, or even working on his bike. A Motorcycle that he prizes.

Xander takes a lot of pride in work that he has done. He is a simple man, and likes to work for his stuff. Giving things to him as a present or as a gift is great, but he likes to use things he has made, or owns out of his own blood sweat and tears. Contrary to what he may act like, Xander has a big heart. The small amount of friends he does have, he trusts, and would take a bullet for.
History:
Born to poverty level parents of Zayne and Jarael Carrick, Xander lived the life of a normal kid. Living in a trailer park, and going to a public school. Everything was fine. However, walking home from school one day, A storm brewed and was throwing everything around. As Xander was almost home, he was struck with lightning. The resulting explosion was caused by a nearby propane tank that exploded. Causing his house, and all the other trailers around to explode in a chain reaction. At 16 years old, he was the only one to survive the storm.

He had to deal with the publicity of the last living person of the area of the trailer park, but it was gone as soon as it came. He was then forced to live with his grandparents. Finishing Highschool, and took auto mechanic classes in a trade school. He was sucessful, and would have to wear rubber insulated gloves to even mess with wires, or fuels. However, he made do.

Currently now working at a discount auto shop, he spends most of his life just messing around with friends. Only now, things will change. Either for good, or for the worse.

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers
Power 1:
Electricity Manipulation: Having the ability to manipulate Electricity to generate or harness energy in the form of electrons and protons to such a degree to injure, harm, and even kill people. The extent of his abilities at the moment is having the ability to have physical contact with someone, or sending a bolt of lightning from his hands. He can also charge up items like batteries, or even generators with a few bolts of lightning. However, doing so drains him. To acquire this energy, he needs to either absorb electricity by physical contact, or wait for a time/sleep before being fully "charged"
Power 2:
Electrical Healing: Having the ability to enhance the process of the body healing itself by way of using electrons to stimulate molecules and cells within the body to speed up the healing process. This occurs naturally over time, and can be sped up further by absorbing electricity.
Power 3:
Electromagnetic Flight/Glide: Using Electricity to push out of the hands/ feet or even back to produce thrust. This thrust can be used to glide, or have very short flight from distances. However at the moment, it takes a lot of energy to do this. As such, you will rarely see it happen, and will only be used for short bursts

Weakness(es)
Weakness 1:
Water: As someone who controls electricity. Xander can't really go into water. He can drink it, and can take sponge baths, but getting into a pool, lake, or any body of water will cause Xander to literally short out. This can cause him pain when walking in puddles of water if they are large enough, and could possibly kill him.
Weakness 2:
Appliances/Other items: If Xander gets too close to appliances, and starts messing with wires, the item will short out, and fry. So no disabling bombs for him. As well, things such as gunpowder, gasoline, or other flammable items can catch fire around him simply because of a spark produced from his body.
Weakness 3:
Distance: Staying far away from Xander when using powers is best. Seeing as how he needs to be close to physically touch you, or use bolts that have a limited distance. While other powers can range from point blank to extremely long, while this bolt of lightning, can only go so far depending on Xander's strength, skill, and other such.
