The Looks

Jayne is an athletic looking lass, with fiery red hair and crystal blue eyes. She's trained herself just about to physical perfection, and it shows. She's a strong looking woman, yet with her strength she still manages to maintain her womanly curves. Altogether though she's not extraordinary in any measure. She doesn't have a gigantic chest, nor is it miniscule. Yet to call her average looking would certainly be an understatement. Her beauty radiates from her like a flame, cloaking her in class and wit. Her skin isn't flawlessly smooth, how could it be with her training? Instead she has scars which have faded into her skin. Her eyes are vibrant and alive but strong and unnerving. Her posture is confident and brave. She's got the look of a woman who fought through hell and came out of the infernal forge all the stronger for it.

When she's out and about she likes to wear loose fitting clothing, like work-out pants and a tank top. However she'll dressed to meet any occasion. From business settings, to her night job as Silver Hawk.

Personality:
Jayne O'Connor is the very definition of a tomboy. For her whole life she's been more interested in climbing trees, fighting, running, and sports than barbies and other girly things. She was taught C.Q.C. by her father once he saw her natural intuitive skills. He also invested in her studies of Archery, Gymnastics, and taught her knife throwing and how to handle a gun and basic disarming techniques. Not that she needed to learn any of that given her abilities. But knowledge is power. That all being said, Jayne CAN be a girly girl from time to time when it calls for it. She's equally comfortable kicking ass in a sparkly evening gown as she is in her full attire. AND she can be very seductive when times call for more... subtle measures.

There a lot of things she enjoys personally, and only a few things which she will not tolerate. She likes studying, and is a self taught master of various sciences including mechanical engineering and chemistry. She's also a self taught master of Ninjutsu, Krav Maga, Judo, Brazilian Jujitsu, and various weapon disciplines. The few things she loathes are injustice, slavery of any form, and she has a special vendetta against organized crime.

History:

Jayne O'Connor was born to an Irish Middle Class Man, and a High-Class Woman. Mr. John O'Connor was an ex-IRA soldier. I say 'ex' because when his wife at the time, Mrs. Alyson O'Connor got pregnant with his daughter Jayne he vowed to put aside his dangerous life style and focus on family. Jayne lived a happy childhood, she went to a public school, and she made lots of friends. However when she was 9 she began getting unexplainable migranes, fainting spells, and a sudden onset of dyslexia where she would see answers to math questions or similar things on the board at school. One day when she was walking home from school an older boy tried to attack her. As the boy tried to grab her, the migranes disappeared and her vision changed. She could see a transparent line from the boys arms and what appeared to be a ghost of her own body against the boy's hips. She instinctively followed the apparition which guided her in flipping the boy over her hip and onto the ground. The apparition than stepped over the boy and the line twisted, she did the same and effortlessly dislocated the boy's elbow and shoulder in the same movement.

Her father was walking around the corner and caught the whole transaction. He picked up his daughter and ran her home, asking who had taught her how to do that and how she did it and what not. When his daughter told him the truth, that she did it on instinct her father knew she was something special and he worked with her to hone her skills. Her mother only wanted her to be happy, and seeing how happy she was to learn martial arts and combat skills she gladly paid for it. Even the plane ticket for Jayne to fly to japan so she could learn Ninjutsu in the mountains at a private dojo.

When she returned some time later, she learned that her father and mother had both been murdered by a mob enforcer. Apparently the boy she injured was the son of a powerful mob boss, and when her father refused to pay him off he had the man and her mom killed. After hearing and with her new inheritance, she went abroad with the notion that she would eventually learn who had done this to her family, and she would have her revenge. In the mean time her war against organized crime would have to wait until she was ready. She threw herself into training, not martial but mental. With her abilities she found it a simple matter to learn all matter of subjects from Forensic Sciences to Biology, Chemistry, even Engineering. All told she mastered 12 subjects, Forensic Sciences, Biology, Herbology, Herpetology, Chemistry, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Law, Business Management and Administration, Medicine and Linguistics. She's fluent in 12 languages including English, Russian, Mandarin, Cantanese, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Taiwanese.

Now she's ready to start her war on crime, but there's just one thing left she needs to do. She needs to build her alias, the Silver Arrow. An alias which will be protected by her cover, C.E.O. of Solas Inc.

The Powers

Kinesthetic Awareness: Kinesthetic Awareness is the knowledge of where your body is at any point in time, relative to the environment and itself. Jayne's abilites allow her a passive mastery over her body to the point that no matter how she moves herself she can always control her own movements perfectly. So if she's falling and wishes to land on her feet her kinesthetic awareness will allow this. At the same point, it also allows her perfect balance, to the point where she can balance her body on just two fingers for any amount of time she desires.

Spacial Awareness: Spacial Awareness is the knowledge of where your environment is in relation to your body. Jayne's spacial awareness allows her almost intuitive knowledge of what's happening around her. However this is not a supernatural sense, it simply uses cues from her environment and senses to give her an idea of what's going on. That being said, if there are no cues than she won't sense any changes.

Hawk-Sight: This is the source of her abilities, and what makes her so special. When activated Hawk Sight allows Jayne to project her will onto the world via her sight. So if she wants to fire an arrow 300 yards away and split a leaf falling from a tree in a huricane her Hawk Sight will use all of the information available to Jayne instantly and intuitively to show her where to fire her arrow and what path her arrow will take. This ability is purely driven by Jayne's will and will show her how to do what she wishes to do. On a side note it also aids Jayne in her memory, as if she uses this and her will is to remember or learn something than the ability will aid her in doing so.

Secondly, Hawk-Sight has a zooming function, which allows Jayne to zoom her vision in up to 15 times her normal visual range. However when zooming she becomes less aware of her immediate environment.

It should be noted that this ability is based on readily available knowledge and information. The example of the arrow and the leaf. The ability takes into account the weight and aerodynamics of the arrow, along with the firing strength of the bow. Than it reads how quickly the wind is blowing on Jayne as apposed to how it is effecting objects along the arrow's projected path. It than reads the shape of the leaf and how it's falling to predict where it will be when the arrow reaches it. Finally it projects the path most likely to succeed at that particular moment. However the sight cannot tell the future, only make predictions based on readily available information.

Equipment: Jayne has a menagerie of equipment which she's made or upgraded to her use. (I'll Apply for this stuff later.)

1. No stat can start at 10, not even through boosting.

2. As an rp site, there are still no autohits, so the hawk-Sight ability can't be used to auto hit a player character. It looks like you took that into consideration with the third paragraph, but I just wanted to clarify.

It is OK. But you should have read that in the threads you needed to read. New characters can only have up to 2 level 8 stats on their grid.

It's been 6 months since anyone's replied to this so I'm going to abandon hope for this character at the moment and try for a different character.
