Physical Description:
James is a man just above six feet, standing at an erect six-foot-two and weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds. A head of chocolate brown, sideburns running down either side of his face to connect to a neatly-trimmed beard frame a face you might pass in a crowd and never notice; but if you looked carefully enough, was rather good-looking. James' hair is close-cropped, due to his past enlistment with the armed forces. Angular nose, cleft chin, broad cheekbones. A set of ice blue, almond-shaped eyes seem unnaturally quick, decidedly from years of experience in the field. Taut, hard muscles would give one the impression that this man was not one to be trifled with. The only visible reminder of his service, however, being a small, quarter-inch scar on his upper lip.

Personality:
James is usually rather quiet, yet retains a certain charisma. He tries to maintain a neutral nature in arguments to avoid conflict, but surely isn't afraid to give his honest opinions, no matter how blunt they may be. Despite his normal impassive demeanor, he is actually a sensitive man with an almost nostalgic air of chivalry and kindness about him. He is a political realist above all else, maintaining a strict set of morals when dealing with all aspects of life. He has a practical outlook, evident by his generally simple tastes and analytical approach to things. James is a dynamic conservative, which can best be described as "conservative when it comes to money, liberal when it comes to people". He's known among his peers for keeping a level head, no matter the situation.

History:
James Christopher Greenwell was born to Robert and Michelle Greenwell in Los Angeles, California. His father was a low-level narcotics distributor, and as such was in and out of prison a lot, making it difficult for his mother to do anything but watch James. At age six the two divorced, though his mother kept his father's name up until his death when James was eleven, when she went back to her maiden name of Michelle Latimer. This rather unfortunate series of events inspired James to avoid such a lifestyle at all costs.

He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps the day he turned seventeen with his mother's consent and originally enlisted as an Infantryman. As the years went on, he achieved the the rank of Corporal and put in charge of a single squadron. On an operation to intercept Somalian Pirates that posed a threat to trading routes. When they were pinned down by suppressive fire from the Pirates, James and a squadmate initiated a flanking maneuver that completely disabled enemy defenses, as well as uncover a network of potential threats. This got the attention of both his superiors and members of the intelligence community, and James was promoted to Sergeant for his efforts and was offered a job as a HUMINT (HUMan INTelligence) operator with the Defense Intelligence Agency.

While working undercover with Atlas Security Corporation (ASC), a Russian security group of questionable legality, his cover was blown by a leak from inside the DIA and he was captured. His elongated torture was filmed and broadcasted live as the world watched. ASC announced they were going to execute him by lethal injection. At this point America was calling on it's allies and the Mossad responded by swapping the lethal chemicals to be used in his injection with an experimental super-soldier serum, though only phase one of a much longer process. ASC filmed his 'lethal injection' and was surprised when he had broken out of his bindings and escaped. While America rejoiced that their hero had escaped, James was transported to Israel to complete the augmentation process to make him a full-blown super soldier. He has since retired from the DIA and now lived in Los Angeles, California.
