Costume Description/Image: O' Malley wears a thick sheepskin tunic covered by a leather sash and metal adornments. He also wears an old fashion kilt, with long stockings overlayed with a think metal mesh. He carries his broadsword, Hellsing, on his back.

Personality: O' Malley is a bit of a contradiction. He follows the Christian teaching very seriously, with a deep love for his God, and will fight to defend his belief. Yet he often shows signs of the sins he is against, such as gluttony and pride. Being an alcoholic, it isnt rare for O' Malley to fly into a berserk state when aggitated. He can often be found drinking as he fights. Being a preachers son, he has incredible respect towards alot of people, but also demands it in turn.

History: Raised by a Catholic preacher, Brian was taught God's word for many years. His father, knowing that one day the world would be in despair, sent Brian into secret training among many Warriors of Light. Over the course of 5 years, he became the single strongest fighter in the academy, far surpassing his teachers. He took this as a sign of God, and would spend his life fighting the forces of evil with his blessed broadsword, Hellsing.

Powers: O' Malley's unbelievable strength allows him to crush his foes, easily cleaving through them with his sword, which he swings as if it is a simple childs toy. His incredible level of endurance allows him to brush off attacks easily, handling a clean sword blow without the slightest pain or scratch. The metal padding in his attire double as a secondary shield. Finally, being his peoples most skilled warrior, he takes his training into every battle, never letting a single teaching slip from his mind during the most intense fight. He is not the brightest person, nor is he fast, but he more than makes up for it in his size and power.

Weapon: Hellsing is the blade given to O' Malley by one of his dearest friend, who had before been attacked by demons. The blade itself it a broadsword, having a length around 7'. The blade is made of purified silver, which was then blessed by the Celestial Envoy, a group of travelling monks with strong magical ties. It is said that the blade is a bane to any evil being, and can give O' Malley a significant boost when needed in the fight with darkness.

O 'Malley stands at the bar, a large pint in his hand. he drinks heartily from it, the froth catching in his large beard. Across the tavern is a bar wench, a girl of young age and immense beauty. Had he been a few years younger, he would have had her. He was well respected among his people, being one of their most faithful warriors. He had shown this when repelling the invading Polish army on his own.

It looks okay but you've only used 15 power points and to make your grid add up more to your history I would make it more like this...

Anyone can use a blade as long as their trained, which comes under FS.

Yes anyone can use a blade, but his sounds like more than just a blade, if it was a normal average every day sword then thatd be understandable but he makes it sound like more than that

It doesn't sound INT worthy... It's give him a boost of morale or confidence... That's how I saw it anyway. Like Scar's blades or gun she would prefer to fight with than something else. It's a lovable item t'is all... It doesn't require int.

The blade was blessed. its more of a magical effect than mental confidence. It wasnt done by the character so his level of intelligence doesnt matter nor does his EP. Its a bane against dark creatures. not something that hurts all bad guys but gives somewhat an edge when dealing with creatures of darkness i.e. a vampire or reanimated dead

as for the power grid i do prefer embers layout. I was half asleep when i made the character so you can see whu i was off on my counting

It doesn't matter if it was done by your character or not, your character does not have the INT to have such an item, by the same token I could say that a mystical god gave Ivan an enchanted sword thats great against dealing with ____ enemy, you can only have a regular sword with the INT that you do, items with effects of that nature don't start until 4 INT

I don't think it's a large int weapon, especially not 4 INT, maybe 3 but it's just a sword and it's not very magical, it's just like the blade has been fused with holy water so it's better to combat vampires and such..... :S

I said the same thing for another members item but was corrected by the other mods, apparently items with effects can only start at level 4 INT or above, its the rules

But didn't that character make it himself? And the blade doesn't really have a power or something like shooting electricity. It's just a blessed blade.

That doesn't matter; we don't allow 'gifts'. You have to have the stats to back up any and all items your character has, period.

As for this weapon, it says that it gives him a "significant boost when needed in the fight with darkness". So that does sound like it could be a power to me. Agni, I think you should elaborate on the strength of this blade so that we can decide it's requirements accurately.
