Hello hello. So... I have a character I have been running for years in my own SH-RPGs and I was wondering if I could have him join. He has one power technically speaking but it has many applications. The official title of his power is a "Perfectly Synergized Soul," but it essentially boils down to self-mastery. This makes him an epic martial artist with an instantaneous reaction time, for instance, but does not enable him to fly, shoot lasers, teleport, etc.

Is this acceptable? I have his very long bio written.

What do you mean background color ?

Um... it's black and blueish?....makes black text hard to read? any of this ringing any bells?

No the background color is not customizable. But the text defaults to white so you shouldn't have any issue I don't think.

Not when making a selection; like when I have to choose the forum category when looking for a post...it's very hard to read.

Oh. That part. I never changed that part cause it's hardly used. Lol. Maybe I'll fix that today.

Hello! Name's bobbananaville (You can call me Bob if that's too long), and I've always wanted to do a superhero RP.
I used to roleplay on a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon site, but that was more than three years ago, and beyond extremely short excursions into other websites, I haven't really RP'd much since. I'm hoping to change that, and start writing more often again. Here's hoping we get along!

Minor question: What's the tone of the website? I know we've reached something of a dark age ingame, with heroes and villains alike seen in a negative light, and superpowers being feared rather than admired - or at least, that's what I've gleamed from the timeline - but should I focus on writing street-level crime-stopping, solving murders and saving lives? Or should I be focusing on compromise, and the endless meaningless cycle of heroism and villainy? Should a happy ending be visible, albeit with a difficult road to reach it, or does hope merely exist for the individual, while humanity as a whole has been damned?

Basically, is this like X-Men, or Worm?

I am still new myself, but from what I've gathered from chatting with people in Discord (get it, it makes it easier to contact people), just do what you want to do. You can have a character face that full on persecution ala X-men or you can be in an area that is more accepting of superheroes. I'm choosing to acknowledge the bias against heroes, but given my alignment and how I am going to choose to do things, unless I make a mistake my character should rarely have to deal with the worst side of hero hating. Just do what feels right in your writing and take into consideration that not everyone approves of metahumans!

Hello! Was sorely missing my old days on Prodigy: City of Supers and so went looking for a new forum superhero RPG and found you guys.

I tend to go by DragonGate on most internet sites, DG is fine or Sewer from my favorite 700 pound mammal lizard.

I've been RPing in Stargate and original superheroes since 2005, on three different games. Looking forward to getting into things over here, transferring and adjusting Sewer Thing's bio from my old Prodigy account to your template here.

So, who wants to run into a real urban legend? Sewer's smart and friendly when he's not feeling hungry. "You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry."
