Personality: Cocky as hell but also paranoid, he's overconfident but not quick to trust, a folly of his own design.

History: Here's a little all about how his life got flipped turned upside down it'll only take a moment just sit right there let me tell you all about how his family is insane.

Ace was born abandoned, his mother who he's only ever assumed was super powered, left him when he was just a little baby on the doorstep of an orphanage.

In a thunderstorm.

She wasn't exactly mother of the year.

That's to the unfortunate turn of events with his mother's (And father's I suppose) metagenes and the thunderstorm. Ace developed the powers to manipulate electricity. He enjoyed his life at the orpahanage for a while, until it was mowed down by the anti-meta sentiment. Ace knew he had to get out of there pretty quick so at the age of 14 he set out to be the coolest superhero this side of coolman, with the power of cool.

At least, that's what he thought.

Ace was perfectly happy for about a year. He helped with the rise and fall of the Sentinels. Met some interesting people and more or less saved lives.

Then his kinda very crazy father who he didn't know he had kidnapped him and shipped him off to Japan. So yeah, there's that. During that altercation Ace had his powers removed, his blood was injected with ionised uranium atoms. These atoms were, like a cancer treatment, supposed to neutralize Ace's powers. After Ace left Japan, powerless but now with the knowledge that he belonged in the Wray family, he started living a normal life.

Ace tried to help out with the New York Assault, however he was a normal human boy at the time, he would have been a liability. So he went underground, took up a new identity and did everything he could in the down time to try and get his powers back without drawing attention to himself.

He got himself some fancy new identity and started attending public schools under the new name, Alex James. He never really stood out but he learned a few things. He kept himself afloat by doing some freelance hacking work under the name Codex. On top of that, he often found himself deep into the NYPD's incident reports, digging up as much info as he could on Meta-Humans in the area.

The Powers and Weaknesses

(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)
Powers

Power 1: Electric Feel
After losing his powers, more or less, he always felt that the spark would return. It did, kinda. Ace generates an electromagnetic field around him which, as well as messing with compasses, allows him to sense things within a 10m radius without looking at them.

Power 2: Wireless Interface
As long as Ace is touching a piece of technology, he can interact with it. This generally extends to typing on a keyboard without actually using the keyboard but could be used to hack servers or make a vending machine drop all of the stuff inside it.

Power 3: Escape Artist
After being captured by his own father, Ace decided it was time to work on some counter measures. Ace has the ability to pick locks and break out of stuff like handcuffs, zip ties, that kinda thing. This doesn't work on magical items or super super high tech ones.

Power 4: I'm Hacking the Internet
Ace, in his downtime has become pretty handy with a computer. He can hack into almost anything. Technologically speaking however, Bliss could probably beat him up.

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1:Smart-Ass
Ace has a tendency to always say what he's thinking. This ends up with a lot of situations where he's accidentally insulted the dude with the gun in his hand and realised too late that he shouldn't have said the thing that he said

Weakness 2:Water-Soluble
Water is pretty bad for electronics, this goes doubly for when you are an electronic. When Ace comes into contact with water his powers become dampened. If hit with enough water he will become weaker, if hit with too much water he'll drown.

Weakness 3: Still just a rat in a cage
Ace is, more or less, a normal human, therefore his skin is a mass of scar tissue and bruises from being flung out of windows or down stairs or being punched really hard. He's also susceptible to extreme heat, extreme cold, disease, famine, basically anything that could hurt a human in some way.

Weakness 4: Paranoia
Some people say that mostly staying inside will do stuff to you. It's entirely, ever since he was captured by his dad he's been extremely paranoid of most things.

Weakness 5: Rose Tinted Glasses
Ace is living in the past. Due to this, he often tries to do things that he can no longer do, like throw himself out of windows or trying to move through live wires.

Items/Minions
Electro-Channel Gloves

Wearing these gloves allow Ace to channel the remnants of his old powers and boosts it, allowing him to shoot electricity out of his hands like he used to.
These gloves utilise his old powers, allowing them to be disabled by anything that disables his powers (Water). The gloves are also powered by an external battery, presenting a big target. It's succeptible to exploding, short circuiting or simply running out of power.

Like a Palm Pilot mounted on his wrist.
Ace has a small computer mounted on his right wrist. It's nothing special. It's just like a phone that he's strapped to his wrist.

Yes and Phone-lines power-lines anything that carrys an electric current.

Okay. As long as you cant do that in combat like teleporting thats completely fine.

You'll have to split your EP between your Electric attacks and your travelling.

Something like Blasts = 4 and Travelling = 2
