Thank you very much! I'm quite new to this and am just wrapping my head around how things work. I have a lot of writing experience but have never gotten into superhero roleplaying before.

Thank you very much. Any general pointers on how things work here would be appreciated.
I'm really eager to get into roleplaying but am still working my way around what I need to do in order to create a character, join a quest etc. I'm a complete stranger to this.

Make sure you read the system book, the rulebook, and then in the character application section you can grab the application to fill out! There's also a video I made walking you through how the application works, and what we expect.
