Spark.

Alex had heard of the drug a few times, mostly in small talk from the types that liked to experiment with their illegal drugs. High school had its variety of people and luckily most of them were harmless beyond the gossip. Playing like he was interested in acquiring said drugs was easy, and the motives easier. Who wouldn’t want superpowers, and never mind that he already had them. Not like that was pertinent to Bolt trying to look into and stop the whole illegal drug trade. Sneaking out of the room was easy enough, well the new room considering that the last had been reduced to a smoldering pile.

Pushing off the thoughts of burning homes, Alex rubbed the bridge of his nose and looked at the small piece of paper. There was some messy handwriting, but he understood it well enough to know where he was supposed to go. The building was a former pizza parlor until the manager died of unknown circumstances, leaving it vacant until someone else bought up the property. No one had yet, and so it currently served as a pretty good meeting place for the shady types. Especially when they peddled super power drugs.

Rather than coming around in his normal attire, Alex decided he would just do the simple thing. This meant checking things out, but mostly in his heroic attire, and without actually going in. Still, he could likely gt away with it because some people just had these odd ideas that with drug induced powers they could do the hero thing too.

The time was late, 11:15 PM when everyone that would have a problem with him sneaking out was asleep and people were slipping into the night life. Cars rolled down the streets in with headlights casting shadows all along the sidewalks, people talking and some not at all. No one giving much thought to the sudden violent gust of wind among them, something that faded quickly.

Fresh open air was replaced with the scent of garbage as he walked by a dumpster, pulling up the hood of his jacket a little further. A hoodie over the otherwise obvious super suit was something that helped add to the authenticity of his ploy, or so Alex hoped. It wasn’t the most complex plot, but it sounded good in his head. Leaping over a wooden fence was easy and the door itself opened without a problem, unlocked as it was. Though he didn’t need to step through as someone materialized from around a corner.

This spark dealer?

They looked odd enough, the only skin he could see being pale flesh covered by a wide brimmed hat and large trench-coat. A low, raking voice was the one that spoke up. “So, are you here for the product.” The sound alone made the hairs on his beck stand up, though all he did was nod.

Well, this would be easier than he thought.

"It's the perfect plan, because it turns your strengths into your weakness. Your ambition, your tenacity, your determination. Everything that made mankind great is now the very weapon in which I will use to eliminate them."

Chicago, Illinois - Earth

It was a rather dark night, Chicago beamed off it's beautiful city sensations while the darkness fell over the hemisphere. The windy city was truly beautiful when painted against a canvas of the night, alas even the most beautiful people can have cancer and filth hidden within. The streets were scourged by the vile vermin that posed as humans, tempting and delivering their vices onto others, spreading their infective immorality and gluttonous greed. These wretches needed to be put in their place, and there was no better man for the job....

On the other hand he could just let Bolt do it....

Matthew sighed as he walked along the road, turning and heading up to the little abandoned laboratory they had been inhabiting. Walking in, Matthew took care to turn on the lights and let the ballasts warm up a moment before the dim, baby-making lighting transitioned to harsh bright sterile white. Walking over to his desk in particular, he sat in the overly big black chair, the cushions formed perfectly to his back as edges seemed to push outwards a bit, allowing him to sink back and disappear from sight for a moment. His laptop was on, the feed was playing over Bolt as he ran. Looking over to the corkboard he couldn't help but notice that all the newspaper clippings were held centric around the new metahuman drug known as "spark".

Matthew stood from his chair and began to walk around, turning on multiple computers and devices, even making a point to unhook and re-hook multiple monitors from other peoples computers to his laptop for his own ability to multi-task. Switching himself over to youtube on one screen he began to listen to old classic music, ranging from Metallic all the way to Toby Keith or Shinedown and even Skillet. His hair was a mess and there were bags under his eyes as he continued to type away, only taking pauses to remove his glasses and rub his eyes. Others may not have known why he was so tired all the time, however he knew all to well. He simply didn't have enough time in a day.

Bolt was talking to a man on the live feed, something about product. This caught Matthew's attention as he pulled up many videos that people had taken of Humanity beating up and "dealing with" other drug dealers distributing the product. Each one was something he remembered to well, the attacks were vicious and the would-be dealers were all tortured and eliminated. Matthew was shocked that Bolt even attempted to deal with the Spark dealers, especially considering the risk that him bumping into Humanity was increased. Bolt seemed to like keeping busy ever since that night, and anytime that Matthew reviewed footage or anything of the sort, Bolt made a point to not be anywhere around. If Matthew didn't know any better he'd have guessed that Bolt was embarrassed of having lost, or angry.

Matthew watched over Bolt to ensure that everything was normal, watching through the 360 set up on his multiple monitors. It took a moment, but Matthew noticed something and he leaned forward. He knew bolt might be surprised to hear Matthew's voice suddenly through the communications system, however it was something that needed addressed.

"Bolt, there's three people on the other side of the alley, I'm getting infrared feedback from their eyes in the lenses." He said, a common finding from within their testing and experimenting having been spark users gave back an infrared gleam, which caused an interference which caused an unusual shine. Hopefully with Bolt made aware he would know to take them into consideration, should he attempt to start something.

Dealing with spark was going to be a chore if nothing else. Alex had no idea what he would be dealing with, and if his speed was worth anything in dealing with it. Luminescent blue eyes considered the odd male, keeping track of each movement they made. A part of him was all too ready should they do anything out of line, threatening in any sense. An odd smile graced the lip of the pale man, him nodding a few times as he produced a small black case from the all-enveloping coat. “Then I might have exactly what you’re liking for.” Without sound he stepped forward, breaking the distance between them and leaving Bolt somewhat frozen in an animalistic discomfort.

It was the sound of someone speaking through the comm that nearly caused him to break what little composure he could keep. A part of him wanted to say something, but that would have broken things entirely. Instead all he did was watch this odd figure open the case, which contained multiple white tables, more like pills than anything else.

Well, it was now confirmed that drugs were being dealt here and that meant that he should act before anything goes wrong. The fact there were three people, likely threats just made this all the more unnerving. Was he fast enough for that or would something bad happen because he wasn’t up to the task? There was the talk of money somewhere within the air, though his eyes had locked onto the pills and mind was working over how he could deal with this.  Considering that the trench-coated fellow had already come so close, then there was little harm in his next move.

In a blur of motion his hand shot out from the jacket pocket, fingers solidly touching the hard case and removing it from the thugs hand. With a few backpedals, a second had turned from him being handed the pills to him having them and the guy looking somewhat confounded. ”Going to need these and maybe we can talk this over more when you’re in a prison cell.”

“Ah, I see what this is.” The quick shock faded into bemusement as the  case that Alex once held faded into shadows. “Heroes are growing rather brave but you’re not the worst thing to come to me.” He clicked his tongue, once again producing the case of Spark. Without even thinking he decided to do a more strategic course of action but turning to run only got a good twenty feet before he collided with an invisible, wavering wall.

”Ow….” He grumbled, blood dribbling from his nose.

“Let’s try this again.” the creep said with a grin.

Matthew watched as The Bolt had collided with an invisible force, causing him to release a small hum, his curiosity piqued at the possibilities. Barriers, telekinetic capabilities, Inertia negation or Inertia intervention even. The possibilities spiraled through his mind before he let out a little hum and his eyes narrowed from behind his glasses. Bolt had begun to bleed from his nose, and Matthew was still processing everything. It wasn't all horrible, however. there were plenty of ways to deal with the likes of this drug dealing douchebag. It would be interesting to see how Bolt would deal with this problem at hand, if he had been learning at all.

"Bolt, the other two metas have taken notice. If I were you I'd deal with the dealer. Before you get royal flushed." Matthew said as he clicked over a camera to a different angel from Bolt's suit. With a bit of an interested hum, a few clicks later and the night vision toggled on the screen and began running facial recognition on the three drugged up semi-metas. "The burly one is a construction worker, no wife or kids but he seems to have a metallic alloy on his knuckles. The other one is a literal dealer at a local casino. Deceased wife and a son with cancer. No match on the dealer yet." he informed the hero as he walked then pressed a button and walked away from the computer.

Matthew walked over and pressed a button on the small black machine, soon the heavy hum of mechanical bliss filled the air and a very strong aroma filled his nose. Lord only knew what Bolt was up against, and Matthew wasn't there to help him. He was busy getting coffee, so he could hopefully stay awake to help the little speedster focus through. If nothing else he found it to be a vote of confidence...

...sort of

Post by The Bolt May 8th 2017, 2:53 am

Alex rubbed his nose, sore from the collision with whatever it was that had formed to stop him. Someone had some kind of odd abilities, but that begged the question what they were. A few simple ones came to mind, but he didn’t like the idea of dealing with telekinesis. Granted that was mostly his dislike of being thrown around manifesting, and the mental images were not all that great either. There being two more metahumans also made things all the more annoying, and more powers also made things annoying.

He ran the back of his hand across the small line of blood, smearing it somewhat. ”Two more, got it.” He muttered, rolling his eyes. There were mentions of metallic alloys on knuckles, though he didn’t get anything about the other one. Well, having the help he did was nice but now things had to be done manually. This cloaked dude had powers that Alex had no clue of, which meant that he was flying in blind and likely setting himself up for some hurt. He had to trust that Proxy could bring something and his own speed would produce the miracle itself.

With a sigh, he turned the dash forward.

Like an egg being smashed against a counter the sound barrier shattered, releasing a resounding boom that shattered the concrete around him. His fist sailed through the air, a mach 2 missile that took less than a second to reach the face, but instead he ended up meeting with nothing. Bolt slipped through a wavering image of the man, barely able to keep his footing as he skidded forward, pressing a hand against the wall to forcibly stop him.

“Can’t afford to let you touch me, now can I?” A shape moved around the corner, likely one of the people that Proxy had mentioned. Likely the larger and burlier one, with the shine of metal on his knuckles. In a split-second,  a large section of the alleyway came tumbling down from a fist colliding with it. Okay, so some kind of strength or maybe just a weird kinetic power. Now this was not looking good for him, especially if that kind of force hit him head on. That however made him wonder where that other person spoke of was, and if they were even around still.

One could hope they just walked away.

Matthew walked back with a nice hot cup of coffee with some french vanilla creamer and no added sugar. Taking in a deep inhale he looked back to the screens with heavy eyes and a lack of interest. He had to do this though. This was something he had to do, because there was someone else counting on him. That person, was currently running around at mach 2 and having absolutely way too much trouble with dealing in these metahumans. He began to hum as he watched the one screen, the one that worked on a delay, in case one of the support-team missed a detail or something needed pointed out. The multiple monitors made it almost perfect to capture any moment present or past. The wavering image and the comment about not being allowed to touch him was a very large indication of what ability that was. But this left Matthew conflicted.

The roar on another monitor snagged his attention as he watched the brutish man make a huge mess of things in the alley, entire segments of residential building walls crumbling. It wasn't long before the wall's falling down was actually causing people to fall right out of their homes as floors and ceilings began to cave and slant. Bolt would be forced to utilize his speed in order to save the falling and horror-stricken civilians. Matthew on the other hand, turned his attention to a different monitor. He witnessed the moment of when the larger man made contact with the building, beginning to narrow his eyes before they widened.

"Bolt, the Spark dealer is umbrakinetic. He manipulates shadows and darkness. Lighting the area up might help...if only you had Lightning generating speed..." He said, leading it in to an almost open ended format, reminding Bolt that he had his speed to help him amplify and generate electromagnetic power. Matthew was still desperately confused as to how the man had stopped Bolt with an invisible barrier, however. He had been acquainted with a very, very interesting and lively umbrakinetic in the past, Espada. He was a very unique shadow manipulator whom could actually harm people when his shadow came in contact with another persons, it made the manipulation of room lighting and area of illumination a constant bother for anyone whom opposed him. Thankfully he was saving him and not killing him.

"Bolt, pay special attention to WHEN his barriers stop you. More specifically pay attention to any patterns in your shadow and other shadows. Some incredibly rare Umbrakinetics are granted the power to actually manipulate the physical world by forcing interactions via shadows." He explained while the large man attempted to charge Bolt with his metallic fists, The one spark-using metahuman utilizing floating cards as he simply watched, shocked and almost unsure of what was going on. It was quite clear that he was not exactly a threat, nor did he know what he was to do.

The incredibly strong man was not super-humanly strong, although his durability was much more complicated than it seemed. Rubble and little fragments of stone and brick touched him and seemed to dissipate into dust as he ran towards Bolt.

Post by The Bolt May 10th 2017, 2:01 am

Okay, so a guy that could likely turn his head into an ugly smear along with some guy he couldn’t hit. This was turning ugly quickly, and that was coming from the speedster. Okay, this is probably going to suck. If someone was keeping him from moving around, well that meant his speed was doing all the work he was used to it doing. One thing he did note was that more than just a wall had fallen down, residentials and the like coming down with it. He didn’t even need to guess whether that put people in danger, and dealing with these people became more of a problem. ”Dammit.” He cursed under his breath, breaking off from the main confrontation to catch any of the people that were immediately put in peril.

Controlling himself so he didn’t break the sound barrier and make things tougher was a little difficult. Still, he managed to do so and caught a few people mid-air and a few others before they even fell down from their collapsing residentials. Then came Proxy in with the information that the dealer was umbrakinetic, which made sense in hind sight. Well, shadows were something that he could deal with a mite easier than what he formerly expected anyway.

Alex let the electricity build up within him as he moved around, drawing in any power from sources around. There was of course the added bonuses of his nose healing up, but fixing his face was not on the top of the list. Well, if that was what he was dealing with, then there was already a way to end the whole conflict. That was when he hit something, the intersection of two shadows on the cusp of  a street lamps given light. He was starting to get somewhere with what was going on. Taking a few steps backwards, streaks of electricity running off of him, Alex turned to the one running at him. Things had turned to dust when they touched, which meant he had to keep away from that.

Letting all the electricity build up around his body, Bolt charged towards the umbrakinetic, letting the light rip from him as bolts of sheer electricity shot upwards. The coated man covered his eyes, not quite ready for the fist that made solid contact and flung him back against a wall. He followed that with ducking under the fist swung at the back of his head, gathering what electricity he didn’t discharge into a bolt and flung it at the mans chest.

Bolt had done an incredible thing just now, one that made even Matt's jaw drop a little. he was glad that Cypher wasn't around, or they would have no doubt tried to gloat over the fact Bolt impressed him. Bolt utilized his speed with enough restraint in order to catch and save many of the people whom were in immediate danger. Pivoted and set off enough friction to help empower his electrokinetic ability to rush in with some light, bash the shadow dealer's face and send him flying all while turning to unleash what appeared to be an electrical lance right into the large brutish man. There was but a moment's silence on Matthew's end before he cleared his throat and pushed the button to engage the comm link.

"Well...that was effective." He said before blinking and looking over the footage once more. The movements were all captured, with a few clicks some monitors changed to a slow-motion footage effect, allowing him to observe bolt's movements as if he were just a regular running person. The contact the lightning made with the shadow man was more than enough to fry a normal human being to death, if this person were a metahuman then they might be lucky enough to walk away form this alive... but not conscious. That much was good. The large man, on the other hand was more than enough to handle the shock.

"Bolt, you need to make a choice. You can keep fighting this guy and risk even more collateral damage to infrastructure AND bystanders...or you can grab the shadow-user and get him back to base." Matthew informed him. Of course to Bolt, Matthew was simply "Proxy", but if there was one thing Bolt could always rely on it had been Proxy. Even when it came to the recovery from the long-term effects of his fight with Humanity. What bolt heard was a simple observation, but the implications behind the observation was a bit deeper. Bolt could play the hero, or Bolt could fall back in order to actually BE the hero at the end of the day.

The choice was his, but either way, Proxy remained his loyal support.

A punch to the face was effective against the shadow user, but not so much against the other one. While it did make contact, he could tell it did nothing more than minorly irritate the man for a second. There was a pause within the comms, though Alex was more focused upon his actions than actually following that itself. This was after all a high stakes battle between metahumans, with people being dragged in the middle of things and all that. That was when the moral choice itself was presented to him, though more nuanced than he thought.

Sure, he took the shadow user away but what stopped the other one from just assaulting bystanders anyway? People in anger, and on drugs tended not to act the way a normal, rational person would act. Still, anything that would have stopped further fighting sounded rather nice right now. Also Alex wanted to avoid running face first into anymore invisible walls, and likely breaking his nose.

Proxy offered the choice and Bolt decided to do the smart thing for now. Turning to the metal fisted meta-human, he sighed and scooped up the unconscious one. The hope he was that he was just unconscious anyway and not the rather dire alternative.

If only because as much as he looked down upon his kind, killing just seemed like something he couldn’t grow comfortable with. ”Be there in a sec Proxy.” He said with enough volume to be carried through his com, and in a second he was gone. Darting through the streets was easy enough, even when trying to go slow enough that he didn’t accidentally kill his precious cargo. While it wasn’t literally a second, Bolt managed to find his way through the door within the span of a minute, hair wind tousled and hood having thrown itself back.

”Heard someone ordered one criminal.”

Bolt had made his decision and he said his little witty speedster comment about being just a second. Of course "Proxy" had been up for the past 32 hours and was highly tired from a lot of physically strenuous and mentally exhausting tasks. He wasn't in his best frame of mind when he was listening to a muffled Bolt make his comment.

"Be there for sex Proxy." Immediately his eyes narrowed and he reached up behind his glasses to rub his eyes.

"I'm hearing things." He said to himself, at the moment willing to just resign and whole-heartedly believe that he was not hearing things correctly and proceeding to simply ignore the comment as if it had never been said. Truthfully he was pretty sure it hadn't been said, but he was too tired to try and think through what Alex had actually said. In a loud "whoosh" and a powerful gust, Alex arrived dressed in his full superhero attire and an unconscious shadow manipulator in hand.

"Heard someone ordered one criminal." He said with a slight laugh to the end of his comment. Matthew just turned and looked at him with the face of a homicidal stoner with nothing left to live for. So actually his expression was rather plain. He walked over towards Bolt and the shadow manipulator before looking between one and the other. With a moment he took off his watch and placed it on the shadow manipulator, twisting the knob until there was a beeping noise.

"Power dampener. Cypher's invention. Works like a charm. It'll keep him from going anywhere anytime soon." Matt said as he blinked, his eyes slowly closing then opening, almost like the lights were on in his head but he had already checked out hours ago. He began to make slow deliberate steps back to his desk, sitting down and closing his eyes for a slightly longer period of time than normal. "Throw him in the white-room thing we use for the photo-trace scanning images. We can turn the radial spotlights on to eliminate shadows." He said as he began to type on the computer, despite his tired nature the clicking and typing was furious and numerous.

By the time Bolt did so, it would be interesting for him to return and find Matt with his eyes shut and yet he was still typing, only for his eyes to shoot open and him to look around. "If he secured? Can you bring me uh...some more of the...the warm coffee?" He requested before setting his cup on the far side of the desk his motor functions so impaired and off centered that the cup actually fell off of the side, Matt actually had to stop himself from reflexively reaching out to catch the cup.

Bolt could tell just from one glance that Proxy looked rather out of it. Maybe from lack of sleep or something else entirely, though he lacked the telepathy to just dig around in his head. He did remove what looked to be a watch, attaching it to said criminal and then saying something about it being a power dampener. ”That’s...pretty awesome.” He said decidedly, wondering internally how one made such a device but not thinking too hard on it. His eyes followed Proxy, who seemed to be moving a little slower than usual and that warranted questions all their own.

Finally he was told what to do and that was what Alex did. That was composed of throwing said meta-human in the white room, leaving them after taking a few seconds to bind the criminal up. It was easy enough, and they weren’t conscious to stop him from doing just that. With that done, he returned to Proxy who mentioned something about warm coffee.

He turned to the empty cup, giving a slow nod. ”I can do that.” He said, catching the cup with what looked like a casual motion and moving at a more mundane pace to fetch said caffeine infused beverage, filling it up to a reasonable threshold before bringing it back. ”You okay there Proxy? You look….beat.” He vied for the words, but picked something simple as he set the coffee down.

”Ya know, beat in the sense of not sleeping for whatever reason. You should do that, like now.” He suggested, not hiding the whole he should sleep portion of things. He also would not let him near the coffee, actually picking it up and keeping it out of reach.

"Okay. Let me tell you how this is gonna go. you're gonna give me that. You know how I know you're gonna give me that?" He said as he stood up out of his chair, his arms were on the desk as he stood completely upright, heavy and weary eyes fixated on Alex, a slight arch in his lip as his words began to seep through. "I know because I'm the only one still here right now. I'm the only one staying up for 36 hours straight to make your selfish ass faster. I'm the only one working a day job, to barely make my rent, all so I can go a day or two at a time without eating a single goddamn thing, because I can't afford it because I'm buying expensive equipment to help research and make Bolt the fastest. You're gonna gimmie that, because I'm telling you right now that I'm not going to have a cup of coffee set in front of me when I'm THIS tired for you to pull it away from me at the last second because you felt like being a sadist!" He shouted as his eye twitched. He let out a heavy sigh before pointing to the computer. The computer screen said that something had rendered to 35% and was but 10 minutes away from being completed.

"While you do whatever it is, while you go home at night and sleep after your crime-fighting adventures. While Cypher goes home and watched Netflix and finishes college papers, While you go out to dinner with your family or do whatever it is you do. I'm still here. I've got school too. I've got a job. I don't have a mom, or a dad to take care of me. I walk home...alone... hoping that I don't end up just like the people you save. I'm going to stay until this is finished. 9 minutes. Then I'll walk home. But to have the energy to do that, I'm gonna need the pick-me-up." He said before he lumped back into the chair. obviously too tired to argue. He just went back to looking at the download time and rubbing his eyes. He didn't mean to fly off the handle the way he did. It was probably just him being tired, or feeling underappreciated or whatever have you. That's how it might likely come off anyway. It wasn't wrong though. Matt was ALWAYS there when Bolt needed him, even staying after and working on stuff Bolt left to go have a semi-normal life for. He was obviously half thinking on what he said with regret, but didn't dare to vocalize anything in fear of making things worse. Some of these things that he dropped on Bolt... Matthew hadn't ever brought up before. These would have been new things for Bolt to learn, although Matthew felt genuinely guilty at this moment... he didn't intend to fly off the hook as he had... or tell Alex half the things he had.

Bolt expected some trouble with the move, setting coffee down and then yanking it back away was a dick move. What he didn’t expect was some jabs that hit a little too close to home, or so they felt when the words came out. Things held back for how long he didn’t know came forth, and the malice behind them was palpable. Being that he was still a teenager, it was not like he took to that too well. Anger, along with a more defensive emotion came, lights flickering for a few seconds as his eyes took on a faint glow. Still, the words came about regardless, and he took them all the wrong way, the way an emotional idiot might have taken it when a friend all but told him their suffering was because of him.

Was it really him causing Proxy so much trouble?

The question came and went through his mind in an instant, causing his jaw to grow rigid as the words that wanted to come through didn’t. He had more of a life than he thought, no parents and a job he had to keep going. He frowned, looking rather hurt by the many things said, hurt winning out over any anger. Rather than saying anything, he let a hum slip through his lips. Growling, he settled the coffee cup on the table and was gone, coming back maybe half a minute later with a few bags of chips and beef jerky.

”Eat this now.” He crossed his arms over his chest. ”If you have a problem helping me, then you can leave. Don’t have to make me look like a dick when you aren’t being forced to stay here.” With that he walked off to the other side of the room.

"I know you're not keeping me here. What's the alternative without me?" He asked as he looked to the jerky and back to the computer. If Bolt were to actually think that one through maybe he might be glad that he had Matthew when he did. Of course Matthew was annoyed by the whole thing, but the part that truly annoyed him was the fact that Bolt was right. But he was tired, he knew he was tired, and his faith in bolt and his potential outweighed his desire to say "fuck it" and leave. Oddly enough Bolt alone was enough to convince him otherwise.

"You know what's keeping me here? You know what? Forget it, it's cool. I'll just leave my research here and you can just...have Cypher look up some people. You're a perfectly capable hero. Don't need my help. Thanks for the Jerky." He said as he took the jerky and took a rip out of it. The next thing on the list was for Matthew to make his exit, leaving the facility behind, and all of his stuff behind, leaving Bolt alone. What Bolt did from there was entirely up to him, but it would be a few more hours before Cypher even rose from her sleep. Of course he could always call her, or get some shut eye of his own.

Meanwhile their captive umbrakinetic stirred lightly in his unconscious daze shifting into a light sleep, though teetering between R.E.M and N.R.E.M states.

His statement was true, but what Bolt couldn’t admit was that he did enjoy having him around. Regardless, he found it difficult to say what needed to be said and that was likely what caused him to leave now. The question of what kept him around came, but he didn’t know exactly what that answer was. There had to be a reason, something that continued to both him even when Proxy walked out of the little base they had. Eyes focused upon the wall, he said nothing for a few minutes until he realized that likely he wouldn’t come back. In a fit of anger, he slammed his fist into the wall, creating a sizable hole with cracked spider-webbing outwards from that point. His knuckles ached somewhat from the impact, but nothing that proved beyond annoying.

”So…..damn stupid.” He growled, settling into the seat proxy had been sitting in and just gazing at the things he had  been doing. Obviously none of it meant anything to him,s o in the end Bolt stood up and left. Likely Cypher would contact him eventually and he could bring up the fact they likely were now one short. That was time for another day, something he would call about in the morning.
