The blast hit Harpoon in the back, launching him forward into the lake. He was burnt pretty bad, even with his bulletproof wetsuit. He sank down to the bottom of the lake, but managed to absorb enough water to heal himself. He stayed at the bottom of the lake, knowing that fire can't survive in water.

Fate watched Harpoon fall into the water. That hopefully had killed him Fate thought. The flames licked around his body and he jetted into the air heading towards the Gold Coast to fully start his holiday.
