Starbucks and L.A... Rain? (Kubi)

Diana found herself at a Starbucks in town. As usual she was looking at the pictures and what other people were having. Once her turn was up, she pointed out something someone was already having. "Uh... I wanna have the same stuff as that girl."
The cashier looked at the young vegan hipster blonde teenage aspiring writer in the corner. "Green Tea Machiato?"
"Yeah. And one of those." Diana tapped the food display.
"Which one, ma'am?"
"Uh... the Chicken?"
"That'll be $8.45"
Diana sighed with relief once her order arrives. Being unable to interact with the normal world definitely had its downsides, in moments like these. She wondered what her future held... a lifetime of violence? Part of her relished it, but part of her felt sometimes she could have something else. She sips her machiato and dines on her shredded Chicken rotisserie on ciabatta bread.
