I Feel So....

Athena walked down the street. She had her sunglasses on to cover her eyes and she walked along the streets with determination although she wasn't quite sure why. She didn't know where she was going, just that there was a girl in trouble, an innocent girl that needed her help. She was wearing a beautiful summer blue dress that slide down her smooth perfect legs and swished teasingly when her hips swayed. She had her knife i the same place but you couldn't see it unless she had her legs wide open in front of you to be fair. Her long dark brown hair cascaded down her back to her hips, her fringe falling forward slightly. She pulled her glasses down slowly when she stopped in front of a boat that was moored up. The girl - whoever she was - was in there.
"Hmm..." she thought then walked up the plank. Getting odd looks from the men, mostly admiring ones and ones that would strip her of all clothes if they could. She shook her head. Stupid males. She walked in to the little boat and listened. After a minute she could hear the little sobs from her left. She glanced to her left and frowned. The whole boat was wrecked. She walked around the mess, pulling splinted wood from her way. She frowned and kept walking.
"Hello? Is anyone there? I'm here to help," she said softly, her Greek accent filling the air. The sobbing stopped and there was a gasp as she looked around. Cupboard. She opened it and there was a little girl sitting there with large brown chocolate eyes that were staring at her as if she were a monster.
"It's okay sweety, I'm going to get you somewhere safe," she said softly and picked up the girl. As soon as they touched the girl fell against Athena crying.
"I know I know hussh..." she said as she carried the girl out of the boat - hell she wasn't leaving her in this house not with the man about to come home later. She carried her down the dock and away from the people. They ignored her now and she ignored them; they probably thought she was the guys slut. She walked a few blocks away then stopped at clothes stop for little kids. She got the girl a new dress and shoes that weren't broken as well as began cleaning her up and brushed her hair. The girl began relaxing more and more. Athena smiled as she walked, holding the little girls hand who was giggling at her jokes and chatting - she was soooo sweet! Athena smiled as she swept the girl into her arms.
"Who wants ice cream?"
"Me Me!" she squealed, a smile lighting up her face as Athena chuckled and led her to the ice cream stall. They sat at a table in the shade and ate their ice creams, watching people walk past.

Ana chuckled slowly as he got his own ice cream. He listened to the little girl ask for ice cream, and if that couldn't put a smile on his face, what could? He sat down a a totally different table, though no one sat within three tables of him. That was ok. When your wingspan was about 6 feet across, you were bound to get some attention. Especially if they are in plain sight and are rotating slightly, just in case. The Florida humidity really didn't agree with Ana, causing his hair to puff out and curl. He saw it the other day and decided to just leave it. Besides, straight hair wouldn't help him track down that creep with powers, now would it. Then again, neither would ice cream, or a schnazy new fedora, but he didn't care right now. After 5 days of searching, Ana had decided to give up on the guy and begin his journey home. Starting with some ice cream. Mint chocolate chip, of course. It was like liquid heaven the moment it touched his tongue. A thousand different senses flared and spiked. The wonderful treat sloshed around in his mouth until Ana decided to declare victory on the sweet treat. The cold in his throat was just what he needed on a hot day. The chocolate chip that got lodged in his throat? Not so much, but it got down without too much effort. He had at least managed not to draw attention to himself by not choking, but the wings kind of made everyone stare anyway.

Athena smiled as she mopped up the little girl when she spilled bits. She frowned slightly whent he girl cringed when she dropped a bit on her dress but when she was Athena just giggle she laughed to.
"I'm going to find you a good home kiddo, I promise," she smiled and tossled the girls hair but her sites were on something else now - the angel 5 tables away from them.
"Holy-"
"PRETTY!" The girl squealed and ran up to the angel.
"Hey!" Athena's eyes widened as she jumped to her feet and hurried after the girl, sweeping her into her arms before she tugged on the guys wings.
"Sorry about that," Athena blinked as she held the girl who was beginning to cry, reaching for the mans wings.

Ana gave a little laugh. "It happens all the time. Comes with the territory. You got wings? Somebody, no. EVERYBODY wants to hold them, feel them, squeeze them. A rare few have ever tried to pull them off. It was not a pleasent experience." He said, bending his wing so that the girl could grab it. "Just try not to yank" he precautioned. After another lick of his magnificent icy treat, Ana pulled a book out of the backpack he had on. "Now.WhereisWaldo?" He asked himself, revealing just enough so that the little girl could see as well.

The girl giggled as she grabbed the feathers and buried her face in them blowing raspberries. Athena chuckled and shook her head slowly as she let the girl get down so she could play with the wings. Athena smiled as she watched the girl.
"Nope...Know some girls that do have wings though," she shrugged slightly as she watched the girl. She had her full attention at the moment. The girl was giggling and laughing and hiding behind them and wrapping herself up in them. She looked...like a kid in a candy store.

Ana started giggling uncontrollably. [color =cyan]"Hey, stop. That tickles."[/color] he said laughing. Trying to regain composure, he redirected his attention to the beauty in front of him. "Who doesn't now a days? Everyone's going around, playing superhero, and a lot of them aren't playing. They are dead serious when they say that they can blow something up just by thinking about it. It's rather scary to have a 3 year old look you in the eyes and tell you that he was going to melt all of your atoms so that he could fill his swimming pool." Ana said with a shiver. Not a good memory.

Athena shrugged as she sat down in her low tight fitting blue summer dress. She watched girl run in and out of the mans feathers, chasing one feather which had come loose. She giggled and finally caught it before hugging it close to her and walking back to Athena. Athena smiled and picked up the girl, sitting her on her lap.
"Yeah...I think I would be a bit freaked out as well," she chuckled. "Though I wouldn't of let him be living to say those things."

Ana shrugged and smiled at the kid. "Is she your sister?" He asked, finally working his way down to the cone of his ice cream. the best part! He thought to himself, his enthusiasm showing on his face. After 3 seconds of contemplating the best plan of attack, Ana went for it. He came back with a green mustache that almost perfectly matched his eyes. He knew it was there, but didn't really care. For comical effect, Ana grabbed a napkin and dabbed the edge of the now hitler-like mustache. "Did I get it all?"]

The girl giggled and moved her hand out and wiped the moustache over his nose.
"Puddy cat!" she giggles, drawing whiskers on him with the ice cream. "Meow!" she giggled again smiling brightly.
"Nope, I found her, her dad abused her so I stepped in and took her. I found her in her house crying in the cupboard all alone with all things jammed up against the door," Athena watched the girl fondly as she licked the ice cream off her own fingers.

"Oh what a joy it is to live in this world." Ana said sarcasticly, using his napkin to wipe the ice cream of his face. "Well, I had better get going. Saving the world and such. Good luck in finding the girl a home." he said, geting up and stretching his wings and arms in unison.

Athena nodded slowly as the girl's face scrunched up as she hugged the mans leg.
"No go!" she whinned, hugging the mans leg half to death. Athena blinked in slight surprise as she crouched down in front of her.
"Come on hunny, the angel has to go now..." she said softly, trying to pry the now screaming child from the mans leg.

Ana chuckled a little bit in his head, because he knew that the woman wouldn't be able to hear it over the child. "Angel? I am no angel. I am but a man, albeit a genetically enhanced one." he yelled, turning his attention to the child. He shushed her calmly. "It's ok, it's ok. I don't have to go." he said, looking up at the woman with pleading eyes, expectant that the kid would do the same. Peer pressure, he thought, Gotta love it.

Athena frowned slightly and shook her head slowly at the girl who had now placed herself on his lap.
"You don't have to stay if you don't want to," she frowned more at the girl who stuck her tongue out at her with a smug smile.
"Jeez...Girls....I swear sometimes you girls just make me want to scream," athena half teased making the girl giggle and blush.
"My name is Athena," she looked up at the man, holding out a hand for a handshake. Her Greek accent laced her words as she smiled slightly.

"Anagano, though most just call me Ana. Pleasure." He said, shaking her hand. After the formalities were over, he leaned over and picked the girl from the armpits. He then, carefully, placed the cook of her leg on his shoulder where it rested comfortably. The girl's feet rested just on top of where his wings began to form. [color=periwinkle]"So, what do you want to do next?" he asked to both Athena and the child

Athena shook her head slowly with a soft smile as she looked at the girl who was on top of the world.
"Me...Fly!" She giggled and hugged the mans head as she waved to Athena. Athena raised one eyebrow and waved back making the girl fall about in fits of cute giggles. She smiled slightly and glanced to the man.
"I don't mind, you are the..." she paused for the right English word, her greek accent hung in the air like a sweet melody. "Climbing frame," she smiled softly.
