Dark Heights Introduction

Dark Heights tells the story of two girls, Ashley and Bliss, living in a post-apocalyptic world. Within the world Bliss meets a young man named Juanito who lives next door to a centuries old necromancer who long since lost his name. The government uses the nine boroughs of the city to divide the city into economic groups to retain power. A group of revolutionaries build up in the lower boroughs in an attempt to leave the domed city of Paradise City.

Juanito lives a life full of confusion. He wanted to write, but quickly turned to business school for the financial gains. One day he meets his next door neighbor who conducts an experiment to create a new animated servant. His neighbor, Brimstone, spats off metaphysical nonsense as Juan continues to try and discover the mysteries of this strange man.

Bliss entangles herself in an affair with a prominent computer engineer, her college adviser, Dr. Ferrier to develop the quantum computer, a computer capable of replicating any mainframe it can access. Dr. Ferrier discovers the secret immoral history of Bliss's father, Dr. Fokukama, and Fokukama creates a hysteria of fear within the main powers of the city. Detectives trail Dr. Ferrier and discover he uses a female assistant. Dr. Fokukama assures them that the female assistant is Dr. Ferrier's wife, because he gave his daughter a serum that allows her to use telekinesis and does not want to lose her DNA structure. The government hires footpads to murder the Ferrier's on their way to a gala.
