I used to be in a course where we would read scripts in these early ass stages and sent in critique as a bunch of supposed to be college students, well connections went through and I ended up being put in real early.
Now I don't know if I can name them, but I think I can say what I disliked about them without the issue of reference. Now mind you, these were actual like actual story pitches, some were good, but there were a few I hated so much I kinda couldn't say anything to the point of being dropped out of the course.
One was about a fifteen-year-old girl trying to become the most sexually active in her part of the town, it didn't have any direct romance but near the 3/4 mark they brought in a cast of mid-20 year old guys. Book was meant for around the age of the main character.
A science novel meant for a younger audience, but it had nothing interesting, so less even a book it was more a textbook with a hint of flavoring.
And a tbh really disrespectful 'coming out of the closet' story that was like, incredibly racist, I have read satire or actually bad things with less than this novel summary had.

Fifty shades of Grey. That book is still, so awful. It's not even sexy!

It's probably bad that I don't have one of those. But I ought to read more...okay, The Speed of Dark I guess. it's a dece story, but I hated the theme of that book against autistic people. :v

Also I feel so, so bad for you Zonkes. Empress Theresa is a personal bar of "do not write like this".
