The Basics

Describe the bare minimum people need to know about your race before they would go about creating a character.

The Lore

From here, go into the heavy stuff. When was this race created/when did their history begin? What major events have they gone through? Is there a homeland that most or all members of this race originate from? Tell us the stuff that people might not entirely need to know.

The Base Powers

While you can always have unique powers for unique characters, does the race as a whole have abilities considered the norm? Remember, a power is any physical feature that a human can’t accomplish without technology or anything that a human cannot achieve at all without the aid of tools. (I.E. being able to lift a car over your head, or shooting flames from your eyes)

The Basic Weaknesses

Once again, what are the basic weaknesses of this race? Think kyrptonians weakness to Red Sun energy and Kryptonite. This should be something that most members of the race will be weak too, but keep in mind that not every member has to be unless otherwise stated in the race rules.

The Distinguishing

So, what makes your race stand out from the daily dregs of humanity? Do members of your race have differently colored hair? Are they scaled? Do they have 20 legs and 40 feet? Give us an idea of what the average member of your race looks like.

The Known Members

List at least two apped PCs and NPCs that are a member of your race. If there are more members than that currently apped on SHRP, please link them all. If you only have one apped member of the race, please try to create an NPC sheet or ask other members to create a character for it.

Any information not covered by the above categories can be summed up here.

This is your race after all. You get to decide what you can and cannot allow with your custom race. Are there specific rules you want enforced when other people make a character based on your race? List them here.

Finally, you can use this category to put down important members of the race, or just characters that you would like to see being used but maybe not by you. This list does not mean that you have to allow anyone who wants to make this character make that character, but it does mean you have to at least allow people to apply to make that character.
