Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by creator September 11th 2014, 7:33 pm

Yumo sat in the line of the stoor as he waited for the people to pass. He was just trying to get ready for this family function thing his friend Helia was hosting. She said that he had to go out and buy clothes that was beffiting of him, but not messed up in some way. He sat in line in a pair of black rock washed jean shorts. A white tank top torn down the left side from a fight he got into a few weeks ago sat at his waist. His orange eyes looked down to check his black and white Fila high tops. The store was known as delenair and it was filled with a variety of clothes for anybody. He made it to the cashier and quickly paid for his stuff as he looked around the store.

He walked out as his red tipped snow white hair swung in the wind behind him. The door to the store opened and Yumo was on the street. Just as he was about to enter a coffe shop somehting swung the door open and hit him. Yumo wasn't ready for the blow in the slightest so he instantly fell onto the ground. His mind slowed everything down near him. He was staring at the sky for a couple of minutes as his body got ready to cope with the pain. He didn't even realize he fell till he sat up. "Hey watch where the hell you're swinging the damn door." He said as he got up.

Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Re: Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by Arcana September 11th 2014, 11:50 pm

Power was not something new to Sean, but then again it was always one kind of power, and the corrupting kind tended to have a certain feeling to it that he grew used to. It was now however that he found himself somewhat bewildered, clenching the fingers of his right hand to form a fist and letting them do so until the knuckles paled. A few things had changed about him, some noticeable and some he had to look closer at himself to notice, skin darker now that it looked healthy and a mysterious glow to his silver eyes that made him look almost otherworldly. A small smirk found itself onto his lips as he looked to the Los Angeles sky for a moment, relishing the changes over all that had taken hold of him, and then running fingers through his jet black hair slowly. It was a nice day and so he would take advantage of it, this time by taking a pleasant walk by himself.

Apex stretched softly, dressed in a dark colored t-band shirt and khaki shorts, specifically Silus’ shirt, with him in that older form of his posing or whatever. Normally he had a feeling that he would have had to try to get one of them, but it was easier than he thought, looking down to the name emblazoned across the front with a certain silent pride. His son was a rock star, and that was not something every one could say about their children. With that thought made he would whistle to himself and walk on, hands burying into his pockets and taking notice of a café; one that likely had those cold coffee drinks that he loved so much, if not mostly because he liked them more than the warm variety.

So walking in there he would wait through the semi-long line and eventually find himself with a drink, chai tea if he remembered the name of it, and with that done he would leave with drink in hand. Now he was likely going to do a little more walking, return home and probably update a blog or something. The wonders of the internet really, but when he opened the door, he heard a thud and an angry voice, turning to the person he had knocked down with a partially curious expression for a moment. Of course he realized that he had knocked the male down, and that was kind of a douche thing to do, so he would apologize for the whole thing. Offering a semi-apologetic smile, Sean would rub the back of his head with a free hand. ”Oh..um sorry about that, wasn’t looking where I was goin.” Sean apologized with a weak chuckle.

"I coulda told you that. " Yumo replied angrily.
He stood up and sat in front of the guy fir a couple of seconds. He scanned the gut and thought of some Grand ideas to return the favor, but he ultimately decided against it. "Move." He said as he walked into the coffee shop. An unknown Thirst hit Yumo as he reached the counter.

He ordered a red colored coffee and began to pay when he realized his wallet was missing. ...and a flyer he was supposed to hang up near here. Shock danced on his nerves as he viciously searched for his wallet and flyer. Not so much the wallet but the flyer. He can shut the card in there off nd get a new one, but helia's Rage you can do neither. "What the.....no" He said to himself as he thought back to when he fell.

Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Re: Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by Arcana September 12th 2014, 9:50 pm

Sean blinked at the male, perhaps taken somewhat aback by the sudden rudeness, but then again he had hit the guy with a door. So instead of being equally snippy, he would ignore the male and roll his eyes. So with the rude male walking away, Sean could return to his routine or so he thought until he found himself stepping on something, and looking down to the sight of…a wallet. Sean jabbed it with his foot for a moment before leaning down and picking up it, considering it with a certain hesitance, and considering not returning it, as he did not like rude people; even if he hit them with doors because they don’t know how to avoid the doors. Slapping the wallet against his palm, he continued to consider until nothing really came to mind, and then the inner good guy decided that he should return the wallet, and that was when he began to look around for where the weird looking guy was.

Finding his eyes upon the male, Sean sighed dramatically and approached him, coughing loudly. ”Um hey…you dropped this.”Sean noted extending the hand holding the wallet towards hi. ”You should try to hold onto this better.”

Yumo stared at the wallet then at the guy. He wanted so bad to hit him, but he was just trying to be a...."good" person. Yumo reluctantly took the wallet back gently. He bit blood out of his lip as he pushed out words of appreciation.

"Thank you." He said then he turned and paid for his drink.

He then looked at the guy again. Part of him wanted to hit the guy still for earlier. His blood pulsed and an odd energy pushed out of him for a few seconds before receiding as the idea was rejected. "Hey you wanna come with me to my friends." He said calmly. His family and some of his friends said he should try to be kinder to people.

"Might as well start with him."
He whispered to himself as he looked towards the door.

Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Re: Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by Arcana September 13th 2014, 12:35 pm

Sean could sense some latent hostility there, and for the lie of him he could not understand why. Accidentally hit someone with a door and now they want to rip you apart, or so he felt, not that he by any means could have been correct. Maybe Sean was being socially awkward, even though he had never been for most of his life. Chewing on his lower lip softly he would let the male take the wallet, and then let his arm retreat back to his side, burying itself deep into the pocket of his shorts. Perhaps going out for coffee was not the greatest idea, but then again he was not known for his great ideas.

A small vibration from his cellphone drew Sean’s attention as he withdrew the cellular device from his right pocket and scanned over the text with curious eyes. A small smile played across his lips as he typed a response, just a small text from Zell, and one he responded to quickly before placing the phone back into his pocket and looked to Yumo with a raised brow as he seemed to speak out an invitation. Sean hardly knew this guy, yet he was inviting him to…hang out with him? It was more of a surprise when only a few moments ago it seemed like the guy wanted to rip him apart, or so Sean surmised anyhow.

”Weeeellll I have nothing better to do, so I guess I could do that.” Sean noted with a shrug, looking around and sighing. ”Lead the way.”

Yumo began to walk his eye twitching as the guy in front of him looked as though he was uninterested. He broke the cup he was drinking out of after rapidly finishing. He continued to walk out of the shop and headed for helia's house. It wasn't too far away, but it was in the woods and hard to reach by car. Yumo looked as he walked into the woods.

"Don't get lost." He said casually to the guy behind him. Then he rushed towards the house a few miles away. He was moving at less than half his speed as he continued to check to see where the dude was lingering.

Post by Arcana September 13th 2014, 12:59 pm

Alright, so he would have to follow after the strange male with an interesting hair color. This involved them leaving from the café and walking on foot from there, not that Sean minded really, but then again he had no idea where he was really going. Not that he was worried, since Sean was all Apex and shit like that. If he felt worried, he could just unleash his badassery and kick so much ass, nothing was really at stake. The male would say something about not getting lost and Sean had no intentions of getting lost, making sure that he kept up with the males pace; something that was not even half of his own speed.

”Don’t gotta worry bout me.” Sean noted with a smirk, and letting his Brooklyn accent seep into his speech some as he made sure to keep pace with Yumo.

Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Re: Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by creator September 13th 2014, 1:06 pm

Yumo was shocked as he watched the guy appear next to him. There was only really hand full f people who could keep up with him or even be faster than him. "Okay if you say so." Yumo laughed as he sensed a slight challenge. In one step Yumo pushed off with all of his strength and moved with all his speed as he rushed towards helia's house.

The time it would've taken switched from 5 minutes to around 30 seconds as he burned through the forest. A few trees sat in his way and had the unlucky chance of being knocked down. The demon inside yumo rushed into his veins as he pushed through towards helia's house. He kicked his leg out when he reached her house and stopped himself abruptly.

He then turned around to look for the guy, he had completly forgotten he was suppose to be taking this guy to the house. "Well he did say i didn't have to worry about him." Yumo told himself diffensivly as he looked for the guy. " And that accent." Yumo said to himself as he laughed awkwardly as he replayed what he said.

Post by Arcana September 13th 2014, 1:19 pm

Sean took notice of the male increasing the speed and that was what he would do, pushing to the limits of what one would call human and not feeling like forcing himself to do any Apex things. Still he found himself trailing behind a few feet, but it was enough that he did not have to worry about being left behind. He even found himself chuckling softly to himself as the adrenaline rushed through him, and seemed to push him onward as his heartrate would pick up. It only took around a minute or less for them to reach their destination, Sean stopping with a skid as he managed to stop himself. Being that he was still getting used to the body, Sean would have to make sure that he did not make himself look like some kind of fool.

”How close are we?” Sean would question with a raised brow, resting a hand on his hip and looking to the male with a raised brow, waiting for some kind of answer, even if it was sarcastic.

Blood on the dancefloor (Apex) Empty Re: Blood on the dancefloor (Apex)

Post by creator September 13th 2014, 1:34 pm

Yumo jumped as he snapped to his right. He completly looked past him like four times. "We're here." He said as he pointed at the three story house. It was like those houses you'd see if you were in hollywood. Helia walked out with nerfram at her side holding like four bags of trash. She looked up and smiled eagerly as she looked at sean.

"Oh my god!" Helia cried as she jumped up and down in her black tank top and white leggins. She ran to sean and hugged him tightly. "How have you been?" She asked.
"And sean....how did you get here?" She asked directly after as she realized the situation. "Wait this is your boyfriends dad?!" Yumo cried in shock.

The guy didn't even look that old. Yumo looked over towards helia but was blinded by a wave of metallic mist that sent him hurtling towards several trees. Yumo got up and looked at helia with an irritated face. He walked up and kept his mouth closed but his face showed that he was going to get her later.

He looked at sean then at the house. "I'm going to go change i'll be back." He said calmly. Helia looked at him and walked both him and sean inside. Nerfram walked behind casually as he stared at the back of sean. He was generally interested with the guy and his powers. He seemed different to him than when they first met.

Helia pointed towards the restroom for Yumo who began to walk towards it. "Hey if you need anything tell me." helia said to sean.

He couldn’t help but chuckle when the male seemed to jump, lips curling into a smirk for a moment before his head moved to look at the house that they were now supposedly at. What drew his attention however was a familiar face, or rather one he had fought once what seemed like a lifetime ago. The male blinked a couple of times, and the found himself hugged, not really fighting against it but just overall confused. So she was this guys friend? Sean smirked and when the whole hugging business was done, would give the male a rather strange look and raise an eyebrow.

”Boyfriends dad?”Sean mumbled to himself confused, scratching his chin softly as if pondering this conundrum, before then stopping the pondering. ”I’ve been good, a lot’s happened, blah blah blah. Ya know, fun stuff like that.” Sean absently played around with the ring on his ring finger, twisting it right and then the other way, habit that Sean had formed really. These two seemed to have an interest dynamic, though they were a little odd to say the least. Not that he had any room to talk, considering himself and Zell.

”I’ll keep that in mind. So Helia, how ya been?”

"Nothin major just fighting against death and destiny." She said wi th a weak laugh.

Yumo walked out a few minutes later in a black see through shirt and some grey rock wash jeans that hugged his thighs and fell loose under his knees. A chain hung from his neck that held up a hear with the letter s inscribed onto it. Through the shirt you could see a large tattoo that went around the back of Yumo to his other side. It was an odd tattoo that was filled with swirls and Thorne vines. On the ends of both sides was a red rose.

On the rest of his body was various scars he got fighting creatures of another variety. His pants were tucked into a pair of black and white Osiris shoes that were tied extremely loose if not tied at all. A white watch hung on his arm as the black center ticked around.

"Is this fine for your party your majesty. " Yumo said dramatically with a bow to add to the insult. Helia Looked at him with an evil grin. "Nah you forgot the rainbow leather gloves." She replied viciously. Yumo clenched his fist and raised it at the back of her, but never moved forward, only threw a silent tantrum.

Fighting against death and destiny, sounded familiar in some way. Not like he wanted that to be his life, but considering his family, he would have to deal with things as they were for the time being. Still he could not help but smirk, and then let out a little chuckle at what the female had said, burying both hands into his pockets. ”Same here.” Sean would say with a nod, waiting until the male with the strange hair color would walk from the house, waving at him with a small smirk. He was dressed for the most part interesting, though it seemed to outstrip Sean’s rather simplistic style, not that he could judge. ”I actually think I have a pair of rainbow gloves, if you need it to tie that outfit together.” Sean added with a sly smirk.

The urge to pummel Sean got stronger as he tried made sly comments. Yumo was wrapped up by helia's fog in seconds but he still squirmed to break free. "Sean when I reach you you're dead." He said as he tried to free himself.
